INTERPRETASI SPIRITUALITAS PADA KARYA SENI PATUNG AMRIZAL SALAYAN
Full text linkThe spirituality experienced from one person to another person is vary from person to person. Spirituality has two meaning, the personal spirituality and religious spirituality. The first one is the experience of one\u27s personal spirituality that have an impact on his personal consciousness and/or influence attitudes and behavior, without concerningthe beliefs of that person. While religious experience is spirituality that experience of someone who has a relationship with the religion that he embraced so that these experiences have an impact on his attitudes and behavior.To a certain point artist spiritual experience has a special meaning in his life. The experience can be an inspiration to the artists represented into anartwork. One Indonesian artists whose works are laden with spiritual values are Amrizal Salayan, and AD Pirous. Salayan Amrizal track record as one of the Indonesian artists is without doubt. His works in every exhibition presents many contemplative visual form, for example, his work entitled “Manusia Daun Pisang”, “Ia Ada dengan Ketiadaannya”, and others.With an aesthetic approach to Islam and Art Language, in this study, the discussion focused on the works Amrizal Salayan, AD. Pirous and others to study about spiritual values contained in their works.Keywords: Spirituality, Artworks, Artists in Indonesia, Islamic Aesthetics, Art Language__________________________________________________________________ Pengalaman spiritualitas antara satu orang dengan orang lain tentunya berbeda-beda. Spiritualitas memiliki dua pemahaman yaitu spiritualitas personal dan spiritualitas religius. Spiritualitas personal yaitu pengalaman seseorang yang berdampak pada kesadaran pribadinya sehingga mempengaruhi sikap dan perilakunya, terlepas dari agama apapun terhadap orang tersebut. Sedangkan spiritualitas religius yaitu pengalaman seseorang yang memiliki hubungan dengan agama yang dia anut sehingga pengalaman tersebut berdampak pada sikap dan perilakunya. Bagi seorang seniman tertentu pengalaman spiritual memiliki arti khusus dalam kehidupannya. Pengalaman tersebut mampu menjadi inspirasi sehingga seniman tersebut merepresentasikannya menjadi sebuah karya seni. Salah satu seniman Indonesia yang karya-karyanya sarat dengan nilai-nilai spiritual adalah Amrizal Salayan. Rekam jejak Amrizal Salayan sebagai salah satu seniman Indonesia tidak diragukan lagi. Karya-karyanya dalam setiap pameran banyak menghadirkan wujud visual yang kontemplatif, contohnya karyanya yang berjudul “Manusia Daun Pisang”, “Ia Ada dengan Ketiadaannya”, dan lain-lainnya. Dengan pendekatan estetika Islam dan Bahasa Rupa, pada penelitiannya ini, pembahasannya fokus pada karya-karya Amrizal Salayan untuk dikaji soal nilai-nilai spiritualitas yang terkandung di dalamnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripikan pendidikan karakter dalam
novel Padang Bulan Karya Andrea Hirata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah
metode struktural dengan pendekatan objektif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu
novel Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata yang di terbitkan oleh Bentang Pustaka,
Yogyakarta tahun 2010. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini
yaitu teknik dokumentasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa
dalam novel Padang Bulan karya Andrea Hirata mengandung proses dan nilai-nilai
pendidikan karakter seperti, motivasi belajar, keberanian, ketabahan, pantang menyerah,
bertanggung jawab, mandiri, bijaksana, sportivitas, amanah, disiplin.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

One of the problems in Indonesia that has not been resolved so far is the conflict that touches on religion and culture. The conflict between local residents and the United Teguh Association (HBT) became a concern, the confrontation between the two parties regarding the location of a crematorium caused social friction which led to protests. Each party tries to fight for its interests in various ways. In the end, this conflict was resolved by means of mediation and cooperative approaches were taken to build an agreement between the two parties.
This research generally aims to describe the causes of residents protesting the location of the crematorium and how to deal with the conflict. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type to understand the research objectives. The data obtained in the field are systematically arranged and presented descriptively, so as to provide a clear picture of the process and causes of conflict. The theory used is the Macro Conflict Theory regarding Interactional conflict proposed by Randall Collins.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the cause of the conflict was due to poor communication between the two parties because each party defended its interests and there was no involvement of local residents regarding the establishment of the crematorium. In addition, the location of the crematorium and the clash between two different cultures became the main problems that triggered this conflict
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Full text linkHUBUNGAN KOORDINASI MATA TANGAN DAN KESEIMBANGAN DENGAN KETERAMPILAN BERMAIN BOLA BASKET PADAATLET PORA BENER MERIAHAbstrak(Amrizal)Permainan bola basket merupakan permainan yang dimainkan oleh 5 orang pemain dalam satu tim. Banyak faktor yang dapat mendukung keterampilan dasar bola basket yang baik, di antaranya adalah koordinasi mata tangan dan keseimbangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan koordinasi mata tangan dan keseimbangan dengan keterampilan bermain bola basket pada atlet PORA Bener Meriah. Penelitian ini adalah mengunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet PORA Bener Meriah. Sampel penelitian ini penulis menetapkan sampel total sampling yaitu keseluruhan populasi dijadikan sampel yang berjumlah 18 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu: (1) tes kemampuan koordinasi mata tangan dengan menggunakan lempar tangkap bola tenis ke tembok sasaran, (2) keseimbangan dengan menggunakan modified bass test, dan (3) tes keterampilan bermain bola basket dengan menggunakan passing, dribbling dan shooting. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan koordinasi mata tangan dengan keterampilan bermain bola basket pada atlet PORA Bener Meriah (r = 0,85), koordinasi mata tangan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 72,25% terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket, (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan keseimbangan dengan keterampilan bermain bola basket pada atlet PORA Bener Meriah (r = 0,50), keseimbangan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 25% terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket, dan (3) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan koordinasi mata tangan dan keseimbangan dengan keterampilan bermain bola basket pada atlet PORA Bener Meriah (r = 0,99), koordinasi mata tangan dan keseimbangan secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi sebesar 98,01% terhadap keterampilan bermain bola basket.Kata kunci: koordinasi mata tangan, keseimbangan, keterampilan bermain basketCORRELATION AMONG EYES-HANDS COORDINATION AND BALANCING WITH PLAYING BASKET BALL SKILLSTOWARD BENER MERIAH PORA ATHLETSAbstract(Amrizal)Basketball games are games played by 5 players in a team. Many factors can support good basic basketball skills, including hand eye coordination and balance. This study aims to determine the relationship of hand eye coordination and balance with basketball playing skills in PORA athletes Bener Meriah. This research is using quantitative research methods with a correlational approach. The population in this study were all PORA Bener Meriah athletes. The sample of this study the authors set a total sampling sample that is the entire population into a sample of 18 people. Data collection techniques are the coordination ability test using the hand eye, balance, and tests of basketball playing skills. The data analysis technique used is correlation. From the results of the data analysis, the results of the study are: (1) there is a significant relationship of hand eye coordination with basketball playing skills in PORA Bener Meriah athletes (r = 0,85), hand coordination contributes 72,25% (0,852 x 100%) on basketball playing skills, (2) there is a significant relationship of balance with basketball playing skills in PORA Bener Meriah athletes (r = 0,50), balance contributes 25% (0,502 x 100%) to playing skills basketball, (3) there is a significant relationship between hand eye coordination and balance with basketball playing skills in PORA Bener Meriah athletes (r = 0,99), hand eye coordination and balance together contributing 98,01% ( 0,992 x 100%) towards basketball playing skills.Keywords: hand eye coordination, balance, basketball playing skills
