    Abstract: This study aims to describe the curriculum development at elementary school in Russian and Indonesia. This study shows that there are many differences between both countries. Curriculum structure of the basic education in the Russian State has more hours per week than Indonesia's does, but in a year of study time in Russia is shorter than in Indonesia is. Assessment System in Russia learning outcomes serve as the basis of the information to determine the competence of which has been obtained by the learners, not as a measure for grouping students into groups. Fakultas Tarbiyah Program StudiPendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai salah satu LPTK perlumengantisipasi berbagai kebijakan tersebut, salah satunya ialahmelalui pengembangan kurikulum. Pengembangan kurikulummerupakan proses dinamik dan kontinyu dalam merespontuntutan perubahan dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan,teknologi serta globalisasi yang begitu cepat.     INTEGRATING THE MORAL EDUCATIONAL THOUGHT OF CLASSICAL ISLAMIC SCHOLARS INTO THE CONTEMPORARY ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CURRICULUM

    This study explored the integration of classical Islamic scholars’ (ulama) moral educational thought into the development of contemporary Islamic education curricula. The research was motivated by the concern that current Islamic Religious Education often emphasized cognitive aspects while overlooking the ethical and character-building dimensions deeply rooted in Islamic tradition. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, the study analyzed selected classical texts by prominent ulama such as Al-Ghazali, Ibn Miskawayh, and Ibn Khaldun, focusing on their concepts of moral education, character formation, and the philosophical foundations of ethics in learning. The findings showed that their thoughts provided valuable insights for constructing a holistic curriculum that balanced knowledge, spirituality, and character. The study revealed that integrating classical moral philosophy enriched curriculum content, pedagogical approaches, and evaluation models in contemporary Islamic education. The discussion emphasized the significance of reconnecting with Islamic intellectual heritage to establish a value-based education that responded to modern educational challenges. This research contributed theoretically to curriculum development and advocated for a culturally rooted and morally grounded educational paradigm

    This paper is motivated by the diversity of problems that arise around us. However, sometimes the problem is not solved with a holistic approach, so that sometimes raises new problems. This study aimed to describe the concept of transdisiplinari developed curriculum in the schools of the future.  Transdiciplinary curriculum is an approach that seeks to solve complex problems by transforming and integrating a wide range of relevant scientific viewpoints. The learning process in a transdisciplinary curriculum combines the cognitive abilities from low to high level in a manner that fosters awareness of learners against humans and humanity. The learning process developed involves aktiivitas learners to what happens in everyday life.     Abd Shamad al-Palimbani’s Concept of Islamic Education: Analysis on Kitab Hidayah al-Sālikin fi Suluk Māsālāk lil Muttāqin

    This paper is an academic effort to explain some aspects of the concept of Islamic education thought Syaikh Abd al-Samad Palimbani (1714-1782 M). As a descriptive qualitative study, the main data in this study were obtained from a number of his works, especially from kitab Hidayah al-Sālikin. It’s contrast to the others previous scholars’ contemporaries, Hidayah al-Sālikin is unique work of Abd Shamad, especially in his approach. In these works Abd Shamad  attempted to explain jurisprudent aspects using Sufism approach. This research analyses some aspects of Abd Shamad’s concept of Islamic education thoughts. According to him, Islamic education aims are to produce a good human being and to achieve happiness by getting close to God. Based on the conducted research, some recommendations for further researcher, it is suggested to investigate this issue more specifically and comprehensively

    ISLAMIC CHARACTER EDUCATION IN INDONESIAN NATIONAL CURRICULA: A CRITICAL POLICY ANALYSIS OF THE 2013 AND MERDEKA FRAMEWORKS

    Character education has been a national agenda in Indonesia since the early 2010s. It was formally integrated into the 2013 Curriculum and further strengthened through the Merdeka Curriculum, which was launched in 2022. This study aims to examine how character education is conceptualized and implemented within these two curricula, particularly through the lens of Islamic religious education. Using a qualitative content analysis approach, the study analyzes key policy documents issued by the Ministry of Education, including competency standards, learning outcomes, and the Pancasila Student Profile. The analysis reveals that both curricula explicitly emphasize core values such as faith, discipline, nationalism, integrity, and critical thinking as integral components of students' character formation. These values are embedded within the formulation of core competencies and learning indicators across various subjects. However, pedagogical implementation guidelines remain limited and normative, often relying on broad and vague terms like “value internalization,” without being supported by concrete and contextual teaching strategies. Furthermore, both curricula tend to adopt a top-down and moralistic tone, providing limited space for dialogic, reflective, or participatory approaches. In addition, teachers are burdened with numerous administrative tasks, which reduces their time and focus on developing students’ character in an optimal way. The study concludes that in order to achieve effective character education within Indonesia’s diverse context, clearer, more inclusive pedagogical strategies rooted in critical student engagement are needed. The findings also imply the necessity for teacher training and curriculum development that are more responsive to social realities and students' needs

    The spread of drugs in Indonesia today drastically increase, both in the big cities and in remote areas. The victims are not only the adults, but also children. Curriculum for rehabilitating drug abuse victims at Pondok Inabah VII developed on the basis of tasawwuf (mysticism) approach. Stage of curriculum implementation are as follows: (1) Takhalli, self-purify from sin that pollutes the soul, both physically and spiritually; (2) Tahalli, self-adorns with good behaviors, both physically and spiritually;  (3) Tajalli, results from both of takhalli and tahalli. Tajalli is ultimate purpose of rehabilitation. Furthermore, those three concepts are applied in three core activities; Mandi Taubat (a person who washes their body to cleans theirselves from sin), Shalat and dzhikr.  In addition, the role of guide also decisive during the process of healing.  Inabah Method is unique; as it does not use any chemical drugs or herbs. Alternatively, religion therapy is used in order to recover drug victim, both in terms of physical, mental, social and spirituall. For further researcher, it is suggested to investigate this issue more specific and comprehensive

     إنّ العصارة فى محال التربية الإسلامية فى اندونيسيا نتيجة طبيعية لظهور حركة تجديد الفكرة الإسلامى فى التربية كما أنّها تستفيد أيضا من نظام التربية الذى طبقه الكييان الاستعمارية الهولندية. أنشئ معهد دار السلام الحديث كونتور سنة 1926 م الموافق بغزو المنهجين التربوية يعنى المنهج التربية الحديثة والتربية الإسلاميّة الجديثة التى يحملها رجال حركة التجديد من ناحية والمجددون المسلمون من ناحية أخرى. وليس هناك أى مجال للإنكار أنّ له اثر كبير فى نشأة المعهد. وهو بنى على اساس القيم المعهدية الجمعيّة والطرق الحديثة. وإنّ فلسفة حياة المعهد وروحه عنصر أساسي لمعهد كونتور الحديث. حيث تم غرسه على سبيل الفعالى والكافى تبعا للمناهج والطرق الحديثة. مما تنتج عن ذلك بعث الاحساس بالحيوية وقوة النقد وقوة الابتكار. على سبيل الاجمال أنّ فكرة التربية الإسلاميّة عند الإشقاء الثلاثة هى التربية الجمعية بتركيز تهذيب نفوس الشباب وغرس الأخلاق الفاضلة وتكوين الشخصية الأصيلة والسحية ومن جوانب الناحيات التربوى الأخرى. ويلح يقترح الباحث على الباحث القادم أن ياتي بالبحث أشمل وأعمق مستفيدا لهذا البحث البسيط.</jats:p
