Marketing analysis of salt in Sumenep Dsitrict, East Java
Sumenep District is one of salt producing areas in Indonesia. Salt plays an important role in almost all industrial processes and production because salt does not have a substitute good, therefore salt becomes a strategic commodity. So far, the link of the salt chain trade system is controlled by several companies, where downstream activities are dominated by large -scale industry with strong network while upstream activities are dominated by salt management activities with simple technology (Ministry of Marine and Fisheries, 2012). In the marketing process, farmers are conditioned as marginal salt producers which cannot contribute, both in price determination and the technical determination of the quality of the salt produced. This is due to the limited access for farmer to get the information about quality and price developments that make the majority of farmers to have weak bargaining position then finally have the tendency to be the price taker. This condition then becomes worse because of other factors such as limited facility and infrastructure, limited access to capital, and limited access to enter the market that lead farmers to limitation choice for marketing channels. Based on the condition above, author expects that the salt marketing in Sumenep today is inefficient. Therefore, Analysis of salt marketing by using structure, conduct and performance (SCP) approach is needed. This study aims to analyze the structure, conduct and performance of salt market in Sumenep. Research locations were selected intentionally (purposive), while respondents were randomly selected (simple random sampling) through their marketing chain. The analysis showed that the salt marketing in Sumenep is inefficient, unfair and not transparent. It is concluded by structure, conduct, and performance approach of the salt market. Structure analysis indicated that the market structure of the salt industry in Sumenep tends to be oligopsonistic. It is inferred from several indicators: (a) the unbalanced number of participants (between sellers and buyers) in the market, (b) high market concentration which dominated by few competitors, (c) the existence of barriers to entry the market, from the capital, networks, licensing to technology. Conduct analysis for the market suggested that there is a dominant institution for marketing activities; the processing company. Cooperation and dishonest practices also occur in the marketing process. Dishonest practices can be seen from (a) the collective traders are also agents (accomplices) of a company, ( b) the salt sale does not accompanied by accurate weighing (c) dominant price is determined by these marketing agencies. Market performance analysis showed that the salt marketing is not yet efficient. Uneven profit with the remuneration in the marketing functions performed, the low farmer share in all channels (≤20%), and also the unintegrated market, both in the short run and long run become the causal factor why the increasing price in the retail level can not be transmitted to the farm level
ANALISIS PREFERENSI KONSUMEN BUAH PISANG SEBAGAI KOMODITI UNGGULAN DI KOTA LANGSA
Pisang di Kota Langsa merupakan salah satu komoditi buah unggulan dimana pisang adalah buah dengan produksi terbesar. informasi preferensi konsumen terhadap buah-buahan unggulan di Kota Langsa akan membuat produsen memproduksi buah-buahan dengan kualitas yang sesuai dengan keinginan konsumen, sehingga produksi dapat terserap kepasar dan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan perekonomian daerah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pusat Pasar Kota Langsa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden yang diambil melalui metode accendental sampling. Metode analisis yang dilakukan adalah dengan metode analisis factor untuk melihat preferensi konsumen buah pisang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima aspek yang terbentuk, dimana aspek buah menjadi aspek dengan nilai keragaman terbesar dan variabel ketersediaan buah pisang lokal dipasar menjadi variabel pertimbangan konsumen terbesar dikarenakan tedapat pasar khusus yang menjual buah pisang di Kota Langsa

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Edukasi Hibiscus Sabdariffa (Bunga Rosella) Sebagai Peluang Berwirausaha
Mayoritas masyarakat gampong Asam Peutik yang berada di Kota Langsa bermata pencaharian dari sektor pertanian. Permasalahan ekonomi di gampong ini pada umumnya belum terdapat sarana prasarana yang memadai untuk meningkatkan sumber pendapatan masyarakat dan fasilitas pelayanan umum untuk menunjang perekonomian yang bertumpu pada ekonomi kerakyatan dengan memanfaatkan potensi lahan atau pekarangan masing-masing. Tujuan pengabdian untuk memberikan edukasi penanaman bunga rosella dan peluang berwirausaha warga gampong Asam Peutik Kota Langsa. Metode yang digunakan sosialisasi kepada kader PKK dan warga sejumlah 35 orang. Evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan mengundang geuchik, kader PPK, dan warga pasca penyuluhan untuk rencana penanaman massal. Hasil yang dicapai warga mengetahui teknik penanaman dengan tujuan agar dapat memberdayakan sendiri bunga rosella dari bibit yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdi serta dapat mengolah menjadi teh rosella sebagai peluang berwirausaha. Selain itu dari pengabdian ini dihasilkan produk teh bunga rosella dan meningkatnya pemahaman peserta pengabdian dari aspek; budidaya bunga rosella sebesar 90%, pembuatan teh rosella dan packing produk sebesar 85%, dan peluang berwirausaha teh bunga Rosella sebesar 90%. Warga juga berhasil membudidayakan tanaman rosella sendiri. 
Analisis Struktur Biaya dan Nilai Tambah Bambu Menjadi Anyaman Bambu (Studi Kasus: Sanggar Kreatif Bunga Matahari) di Kota Binjai
Masalah dari Penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Struktur biaya dan Berapa Besarnya Nilai Tambah Bambu Menjadi Anyaman Bambu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis struktur biaya dan mengetahui besarnya nilai tambah di Sanggar Kreatif Bunga Matahari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode Studi Kasus dengan Alat Analisis yakni menggunakan Metode Hayami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semakin besar kapasitas produksi pada usaha tersebut menghasilkan biaya rata-rata per output yang lebih rendah dan nilai R/C yang lebih tinggi. Analisis nilai tambah menunjukkan NT > 0 maka artinya usaha Kerajinan Ayaman Bambu memberikan nilai tambah
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH KELAPA MENJADI MANISAN KELAPA (STUDI KASUS: USAHA ALFIS) DI DESA SIMPANG LHEE KECAMATAN LANGSA BARAT KOTA LANGSA
This study aims to analyze the amount of profit and added value from coconut intocandied coconut in Simpang Lhee Village, West Langsa District, Langsa City byusing a purposive sampling method. The research method was carried outpurposively with a case study research design. The collection of data used isprimary data and secondary data. The population and sample used is only 1sample, namely the business owner and entrepreneur of coconut into candiedcoconut which has a business name, namely Alfis Enterprises. This research wasconducted in one of the villages in the Langsa sub-district, namely Simpang LheeVillage. To find out the amount of profit and added value from coconut intocandied coconut in Simpang lhee Village, West Langsa District, Langsa City,using the profit data analysis method and the added value analysis method usingthe Hayami method. The results of this study indicate that the amount of revenueobtained from the sales of candied coconut products is Rp. 10,000,000.00. Thetotal costs incurred during the production process amounted to Rp. 3,663,887.00and the profit gained during the production process is Rp. 6.336,113.00
