No full textY. N. Harari, From Sapiens to Deus. This article considers the two most recent books by Y. N. Harari, Sapiens (2011) and Homo Deus (2015) and tries to critically discuss the main themes: the cognitive, agricultural, scientific (including industrial), and humanist revolutions. The author’s fundamental ignorance of the central development of language and mind within the human communicational situation prevents him from capturing the real dynamism of Homo Sapiens’ emergence and his/her future. This leads the author to a purely dystopic vision of the future.
REZUMAT. Y. N. Harari, De la Sapiens la Deus. Contribuția noastră se îndreaptă spre cele două cărți recente ale lui Y. N. Harari, Sapiens (2011) și Homo Deus (2015) spre a propune o reevaluare critică a principalelor teme: revoluțiile cognitive, agricole, științifice (inclusiv industriale) și umaniste. Ignoranța fundamentală a autorului cu privire la dezvoltarea centrală a limbajului și a minții în cadrul situației comunicării umane îl împiedică să surprindă dinamismul real al apariției lui Homo Sapiens și al viitorului său, ceea ce îl conduce pe autor spre o viziune pur distopică a viitorului.

No full textThere is no consensus among Ethiopists on the question of whether the Harari enclitic possessive suffix 3sg. m. -zo is an eroded form of the personal pronoun azzo (Appleyard, Huehnergard and Pat-El) or whether azzo emerged from -zo by being prefixed with another morpheme (Cerulli, Leslau). The present article attempts a solution to this problem by considering it against the background of the overall development of the pronominal system of Harari (personal, possessive and demonstrative pronouns), on the one hand, and the historical areal context, on the other. The author considers -zo as the more likely starting point and proposes a fivestage development for the emergence of azzo. In the final section, however, the reverse process, the development of -zo from azzo, is briefly discussed as a possible alternative

transhumanismo para analizar, desde una posición filosófica, la obra del historiador
israelí Yuval Noah Harari. Con ello pretendemos acercarnos a la visión que tiene este
autor respecto a los beneficios y/o problemas que suscitan las aplicaciones de nuevas
tecnologías asociadas al biomejoramiento y las ingenierías informáticas, de manera que
podamos vislumbrar la posibilidad de que aparezca, en las próximas décadas o siglos, un
humano mejorado a través de la tecnología. Esta tarea la llevaremos a cabo en tres partes:
en primer lugar, realizaremos una exposición de las principales tesis filosóficas que
forman el ideario de Harari; en segundo lugar, veremos qué es el transhumanismo y
quiénes son sus principales acreedores; y, para acabar, nos acercaremos, con Harari, a los
problemas políticos, sociales y filosóficos de ese hipotético transhumano mejorado por la
tecnología, de modo que veremos la viabilidad que nuestro autor otorga a dichas teoríasThe main objective of this research is to take the issue of transhumanism to
discuss the work of Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari from a philosophical perspective.
We intend to make an approach to the vision of this author about the benefits and
problems of the new technologies, associated to biological improvement and computer
engineering. In this way, we will be able to see the possibilities that the emergence of a
technologically improved human has. We will do this work in three parts: first, we will
expose the main ideas of Harari's philosophy; second, we will see what transhumanism is
and who its main authors are; and, finally, we will approach the political, social and
philosophical problems of this hypothetical technologically improved transhuman, and in

No full textOne of the elements that build human civilization is how to support the communication dimension in each stage of the civilization, even though the communication aspects are part of civilization itself. Therefore, studying a civilization, we are studying the dimensions of communication in that life. A work by an Israeli historian, Yoval Noah Harari, is the study of this article. Homo Deus, one of Harari's trilogy of masterpieces, has long been the subject of public discussion, containing many controversies that have later invited some debates. An unusual book because it can review almost all aspects of human life. Each focus of the study is reviewed from various dimensions. Examined with an unusual blend, scientific and social meet in one work. Although the content of this book is very comprehensive, the author only examines it from one dimension, namely the communication dimension. Studying this book gives us information that the civilization of communication goes hand in hand with human civilization. There is a reciprocal relationship between human civilization and the dimensions of communication. Communication develops because of the broad path provided by civilization, civilization develops because of the support of communication, and communication itself is part of that civilization. Weak Approximation for Tori over p-adic Function Fields
No full textWe study local-global questions for Galois cohomology over the function field of a curve defined over a p-adic field, the main focus being weak approximation of rational points. We construct a 9-term Poitou-Tate-type exact sequence for tori over a field as above (and also a 12-term sequence for finite modules). Like in the number field case, part of the sequence can then be used to analyze the defect of weak approximation for a torus. We also show that the defect of weak approximation is controlled by a certain subgroup of the third unramified cohomology group of the torus. © 2014 © The Author(s) 2014.
