poetry Mencari Langit by Sobron Aidit. This study has two major purposes. The first aim is to examine the nationalism on Sobron Aidit's collection poetry. The second aim is to analyze and formulate the stateless nationalism on a collection poetry by Sobron Aidit. This study uses the paradigm of literary sociology. The paradigm in this study in the process of assessment using the concept of cultural roots of nationalism, the origin of national consciousness, as well as official nationalism and imperialism expressed Benedict Anderson. The object studied is poetry then also used the stages of analysis of poetry Roman Ingarden and J. Elema. The data of this research is a material object in the form of a collection of poems Mencari Langit by Sobron Aidit. The data in this research is obtained from the literature data contained in a collection of poems Mencari Langit, journals, and books related to the lives of the stateless. This study has two outlines. The first is nationalism of stateless is a long-distance nationalism because of they still show a commitment for their homeland. The nationalism of the stateless is formed through public awareness. For creating that, it needs struggle, sacrifice, cost, energy and mind. However, all these sacrifices in order to achieve popular nationalism. When popular nationalism has been established it will emerge as the official formation of nationalism. The process of occurrence begins with the collapse of the new order until the birth of the reform era. The emergence of a period of reform is what is called the creation of control in government. Second, the meaning of stateless nationalism reflected in Aidit's collection of poetry is a struggle for rights. Instinctively, humans will feel really love when something that is owned almost lost or taken from him. Similarly, citizenship rights are attempted to be recaptured by the stateless as in the collection of Aidit's Mencari Langit. All forms of nationalism efforts other than as a form of struggle in general is also a form of personal struggle Aidit. Obviously, it can improve its position back in the Indonesian government in particular. Also in the intellectual world (education, art, culture, or literature) in general

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
