Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar IPS dengan menggunakan model picture and picture berbantuan metode menyanyi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 2 siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Saradan. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adlah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model picture and picture berbantuan metode menyanyi dalam pembelajaran IPS dalam materi kondisi geografis dan penduduk dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Siswa kelas VII A di SMP Negeri 2 Saradan Madiun.Hal ini ditunjukkan pada siklus I sebanyak 46% tinggi, 36% sedang dan 18% rendah pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 22,72% sangat tinggi, 72,78% tinggi dan 4,5% sedang. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I 77,95% menjadi 82,05% pada siklus ke II. Pada aspek afektif pada siklus I sebanyak 78,75% menjadi 83,12% pada siklus II

Full text linkThe baffle influence to the degree of liquid mixing in the plate and the pressure drop on the plate has beenstudied in this research. The operational pressure in this research is limited in the atmospheric pressure .Thedistillation column that used in the research has 0.2m diameter and 1.4 m height with the distance betweentrays is 0.4 m. The research was carried out by to flows water into the column with the flow rate of water are105 l/h, 149 l/h, 189 l/h and to flows air into the lower of the column with superficial speed from 0 to 0.3 m/s.After steady state is required the dry plate pressure and the pressure drop because the difference between theheight of clear liquid and the height of foam is measured. The mixing degree is determined by stimulusresponse method, i.e flows air into the system, then give a tracer (i.e. NaCl saturated 20 CC) as a stimulatorthat injected into the fuild to the basin. This experiment will give the data off the concentrations and the time.The conclusion of this research is the pressure drop by dry plate can provide the correlation hD = 8.34926( )( ) Lh GgUρρ22. The value of residual pressure drop at the column of sieve plate without baffle and with use abaffle in this study almost constant, i.e. 1-2 mm H2O. The relation among the Peclet number, the F factor andthe flow rate of water can expresse in empirical equation are : for without baffle Pe = 0.3837 F0.9254 Q-0.05229;Baffle V, Pe = 0.00005306 F-2.341 Q-1.005; vertical Baffle Pe = 0.004989 F-1.775 Q-0.4848. The presentation of thedifference of the clear liquid’s height in the condition without use a baffle are 86,88% for the V baffle,53,55% for the vertical baffle (105 l/h); 73,5% for V baffle, 50,64% for the vertical baffle (149 l/h); 84,34 forV baffle, 65,58% for vertical baffle (189 l/h). Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kepatuhan wajib pajak PBB P2 melalui tingkat tunggakan di Kabupaten Karanganyar selama tahun 2013-2016. Metode studi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara kepada pegawai BKD Karanganyar, melakukan analisis data yang diperoleh dari BKD Karanganyar, studi kepustakaan dan pengumpulan data secara online. Teknik pembahasan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, tingkat tunggakan PBB P2 di Karanganyar pada tahun 2013 sebesar 16,95%, tahun 2014 sebesar 15,54%, tahun 2015 sebesar 14,97% dan tahun 2016 sebesar 15,90%. Sesuai dengan data tingkat tunggakan tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa tingkat kepatuhan wajib pajak PBB P2 di Kabupaten Karanganyar mengalami peningkatan selama tahun 2013-2015, namun terjadi penurunan pada tahun 2016. Penulis memberikan rekomendasi kepada pihak BKD Karanganyar dalam upaya peningkatan tingkat kepatuhan wajib pajak dalam membayar PBB P2 antara lain: seharusnya BKD Karanganyar melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya membayar pajak, menerapkan sanksi yang tegas kepada wajib pajak yang tidak patuh, dan perlunya penambahan pegawai BKD Karanganyar di lapangan untuk melakukan pengawasan dan pendataan objek pajak baru

No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
