Hubungan tingkat aktivitas fisik dan indeks massa tubuh terhadap agility pada mahasiswa FK UNS
Technology and life today have a big influence, especially on the phenomenon of people’s physical activity and body mass index, plus medical students who have a heavy study load will certainly have an influence on these two things. Low physical activity and uncontrolled body mass index will have a major impact on a person's physical fitness, one of the its components is agility. This study aims to determine the relationship between physical activity level and body mass index on agility. This research is a quantitative research with an observational study with a cross sectional approach on 35 students majoring in medicine at Sebelas Maret University who were selected using random sampling techniques. Physical activity was tested using the Indonesian version of the IPAQ SF questionnaire, BMI was tested by measuring the students' height and weight and agility was tested using the Illinois Agility Run Test. The results showed that most of the medical students fell into the moderate category of physical activity level (18 people) and normal body mass index (16 people) but were not too far from those included in the obese category (15 people), none of the students' agility fell into the category good & excellent and most of them fall into the below average (13 people) and poor (12 people) categories. The results obtained were then calculated using Spearmann correlation analysis showing that the physical activity and agility variables had a significance value of p=0.000 with a correlation coefficient of 0.646. The variables body mass index and agility have a significance value of p=0.227 with a correlation coefficient of 0.210. TINGKAT KECEMASAN, KELEKATAN ORANG TUA, DAN NILAI ANATOMI : PENELITIAN CROSS SECTIONAL.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian cross sectional yang dilakukan di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sebelas Maret dengan menggunakan google form. Tingkat kecemasan ditentukan menggunakan kuisioner Taylor Minnesota Anxiety Scale (TMAS). Kelekatan orang tua ditentukan menggunakan kuisioner skala pola kelekatan. Nilai responsi anatomi diperoleh dari ujian responsi Anatomi Blok Neurendokrin dan Indera Khusus. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji regresi berganda. Hasil untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kecemasan dan kelekatan orang tua dengan nilai responsi anatomi blok neuroendokrin dan indera khusus pada mahasiswa kedokteran UNS didapatkan R square sebesar 0,271, hal tersebut berarti ada hubungan bermakna secara bersama antara tingkat kecemasan dan kelekatan orang tua terhadap perolehan nilai responsi anatomi sebesar 27,1%
The Effectiveness of Cadavers Compared with Mannequins on Understanding Anatomy of the Nervous System of Medical Students
Anatomy of the nervous system is one of the basic materials of medicine that is quite difficult for students to understand. One method used for learning anatomy is a practicum in the laboratory by using various media, such as cadavers and mannequins. Both of these learning media has advantages and disadvantages of each in helping students to understand anatomy material. This study aims to compare cadavers and mannequins as a medium to assist students' understanding of the anatomy of the nervous system. This research is quasi-experimental research. Sampling using cluster random sampling method amounted to 4 SGD groups of first semester students of Sebelas Maret University medical study program which were then divided into 2 groups for each given material using cadaver and mannequins. Data collection was carried out by pretest and posttest conducted before and after the material was given using cadaver or mannequins. Data analysis using the t-independent test. This study shows that there is no significant difference between the use of cadavers and mannequins in the learning process of the anatomy of the nervous system, with t-independent test values obtained significance values of more than 0.05 (significance = 0.558). We can conclude that cadavers and mannequins are equally effective for use as a tool for learning the anatomy of the nervous system.
ABSTRAK
Anatomi sistem saraf merupakan salah satu materi dasar kedokteran yang dinilai cukup sulit bagi mahasiswa untuk dipahami. Salah satu metode pembelajaran anatomi, yaitu dengan praktikum di laboratorium dengan menggunakan berbagai media seperti, cadaver dan manekin. Kedua media pembelajaran ini masing-masing memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan dalam membantu proses pemahaman anatomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan cadaver dan manekin sebagai media untuk membantu pemahaman anatomi sistem saraf. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi-eksperimental. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode cluster random sampling berjumlah 4 kelompok SGD mahasiswa semester satu program studi kedokteran Universitas Sebelas Maret yang kemudian dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok untuk masing-masing materi diberikan menggunakan cadaver dan manekin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretest sebelum pemberian materi dan posttest setelah pemberian materi, baik menggunakan cadaver maupun manekin. Analisis data menggunakan uji t-independen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara penggunaan cadaver atau manekin dalam pembelajaran anatomi sistem saraf, dengan hasil signifikasi pada uji t-independen didapatkan lebih dari 0.05 (signifikasi = 0.558). Dapat kami simpulkan bahwa cadaver dan manekin sama efektifnya untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran anatomi sistem saraf
Reflective Writing Skills of Undergraduate Medical Students
Reflective writing skills is linked to lifelong learning. There are still few studies about reflective writing skills of undergraduate medical students in Indonesia, so it is necessary to investigate the reflective writing skills of undergraduate medical students. A qualitative design using content analysis method was conducted at Faculty of Medicine, Gadjah Mada University on June-August 2016. Written reflections (156) were taken from 54 third year medical students in Jogjakarta, Indonesia using random sampling technique. Every group of student encountered different problems in community as the trigger to write reflective tasks about their experiences when interacting with community. Every student has to write a reflection in three occasions, at the beginning of the program, after the first meeting with the mentor, and at the end of the program. Students’ reflective writing were analyzed by three coders using a REFLECT criteria to investigate the level of reflection. 33.3% of students at 1st level (habitual action), 48.2% reached 2nd level (thoughtful action), and 18.5% reached 3rd level (reflection). The ability of undergraduate medical student in reflective writing skills were in the range of 1st to 3rd level, of 4 levels. The Effect of Reading Activity on Verbal Fluency in Older Adults
Introduction: The high prevalence of dementia affecting verbal fluency have been one of the global major concerns. Therefore, strategies to maintain or improve the verbal fluency in older adults is needed. Neuroplasticity-based program in the form of reading has been shown to affect the verbal fluency. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the effect of reading activity on verbal fluency in the older adults.Methods: This was a quasi-experimental study with pretest-posttest control group design. Thirty older adults were included. The inclusion criteria were more than 60 years of age, being to speak, being able to read, scores > 24, for the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score, having intention to fill out the reading habits questionnaire criteria. The exclusion criteria were the history of hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and psychiatric disorders, head trauma injury of neurological disorders, hearing loss and alcohol use. The patients were assigned into three groups: the control group (C-G), the 15-minute reading intervention group (G-15), and 30-minute reading intervention group (G-30). The reading aloud activity was given for 14 days. The verbal fluency was evaluated. Statistical analysis was performed using oneway ANOVA, Post Hoc, and paired T-test.Results: There were significant differences among groups in post-test phonemic score (p0.05).Conclusion: The reading activity intervention for two weeks affects verbal fluency in older adults by increasing the phonemic score but not semantic score
The SPIRITUALITY AND STRESS: BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT STATE OF THE ARTICLES AND PERSPECTIVE: SPIRITUALITAS DAN STRES: ANALISIS BIBLIOMERIK TERHADAP STATUS ARTIKEL DAN PERSPEKTIF TERKINI
Introduction: to learn more about and comprehend the most recent studies on spirituality and stress. This study assesses pertinent themes connected to spirituality and stress through bibliometric analysis using the keyword "spirituality and stress" as input.
Methods: The Scopus database was chosen in this study since bibliometric analysis thought it was the best. The bibliometric analysis tool VOSviewer software was also used to show a network of authors, nations, journals, and keywords. On September 26, 2022, an analysis based on the most recent five years of publishing, article-type papers, and journal-sourced data from 2017 to the current day discovered a total of 829 documents.
Result: The results showed that in the last 5 years, the number of publications of articles on spirituality and stress has grown significantly and experienced a dynamic development. The USA is the country with the most article publications in the world with lead authors, and research institutes involved. Duke University Medical Center became a prominent journal with regular publications.
Conclusion: The bibliometric analysis presented provides relevant information related to the theme studied, namely spirituality and stress
Anatomical Core Material of the Superior Extremity Musculosceletal System for Medical Student Learning
Background: Anatomy education is the essential basic science as a physician to run the clinical practice. The global development leads to the transformation of the medical curriculum which then results in the reduced time allotment for anatomic learning. In musculoskeletal system, superior extremity is one of the sections having the wide range of material coverage which cannot be learned in a short length of time. As a result, the students find it difficult to learn the material. A large number of anatomic material in superior extremity musculoskeletal system which need to be learnt in a limited time underlies the researcher to conduct this research.Methods: This research employed qualitative study using two-round Delphi method. The research subjects were 20 general physicians in Indonesia selected by purposive sampling. The initial questionnaire was arranged by the researcher based on 3 anatomic textbooks, 1 research on core anatomic material, 1 research on the anatomic component of clinical orthopedic, the substance recapitulation of national anatomy curriculum, and nomina anatomica. In the first Delphi round, the panel was asked to select the component which is important to be learned based on the clinical cases as well as to add whether the component has not been written yet by the researcher. In the second Delphi round, the panel ranked from 1-4. The consensus determined by the researcher is 35%.Results: In the first Delphi round, there is no topic added yet 53 components are removed. Thus, a number of component in the first round was decreased from 510 to 457 components. The second Delphi round obtains 26 core anatomic material out of 457 topics.Conclusion: General physician consensus is 26 from the core material out of the entire anatomic material in the superior extremity musculoskeletal system. There are also clinical reasons or correlation from the material of superior extremity muscukoskeletal system which are considered important by the panels. The results obtained from the panels who come from various regions to represent the general physician in Indonesia.

Physical Activity and Low Back Pain in Medical Student
Low back pain (LBP) is a disease that can negatively affect all people with the prevalence of 38% per year. Risk factors of LBP are lifestyle and physical activities, incorrect sitting and lifting position, age, and psychological factors such as stress. Medical students become one of the risk groups of LBP due to limited time of physical activity that leads to inactivity. This research is aiming to understand the correlation between physical activity and LBP in medical students. This is an analytical observational research with cross sectional study design. The subject was 100 medical students of Sebelas Maret University who fulfill the criteria of sampling. Sampling was done using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using IPAQ-SF (International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short Form) and Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Index questionnaire. Data was then analyzed with Rank Spearman Correlation Test. As a result of this research, 57 medical students of Sebelas Maret University do moderate physical activity and 91 medical students have LBP with minimal disability. Results showed there was no significant correlation between physical activity and LBP with p = 0,064 (p>0,05) and there was also no significant correlation between gender and LBP with p = 0,176 (p>0,05) in medical students of Sebelas Maret University.In conclusion, there was no significant correlation between physical activity, gender, and LBP in medical students of Sebelas Maret University

Exploring the Potentials of Augmented Reality in Medical Education: A Bibliometric Analysis and Scientific Visualization
Alongside the COVID-19 pandemic, digitalization has significantly impacted medical education. The pandemic has necessitated several adaptations, including transitioning from a traditional learning model to a digital-based one. One form of this is augmented reality (AR). The future adoption of AR in medical education is bright and considerable. Therefore, evaluating AR in medical education is essential. One such method is bibliometric analysis. Using comprehensive bibliometric analysis, we aimed to collect data on the tendencies of this topic. The research examined terms, countries/territories, publication numbers, institutions, authors, and published journals. The Scopus database was used to compile the material. VOSviewer analyzed the complete bibliometric information. The analysis was based on data from 379 Scopus papers that met our criteria. The statistics demonstrated that the most significant expansion occurred in 2021, with the USA being the most productive country. The Journal of Studies in Health Technology and Informatics is the leading publication, and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki has published the most papers. "The effectiveness of virtual and augmented reality in health sciences and medical anatomy" is the most cited paper. Bamidis, P. D., and Moro, C., made the most significant research contributions. In this field, further study is required, particularly in emergency medicine and clinical skills training for medical students. In conclusion, implementing augmented reality in medical education has tremendous potential
