Limited knowledge and misconceptions about psychological disorders, especially depression, often lead to negative attitudes towards sufferers. Efforts are needed to address this issue to reduce unwanted impacts. This study aims to determine how people's knowledge of depression and to adapt and analyze the psychometric properties of the Depression Literacy (D-Lit) Questionnaire instrument. This study analyzed the adapted Depression Literacy (D-Lit) Questionnaire instrument, with 225 participants aged 18-40 years, which later became 195 participants due to elimination. The analysis method used was the Rasch Model. This study looks at the reliability of person and item and rating scale based on Andrich Threshold. The results of the analysis obtained were the item reliability value reached 0.99 and the person reliability value with a value of 0.64. Alpha Cronbach's reliability was found to be 0.68 which indicates that there is sufficient interaction between item and person. There were 30 persons that did not meet the invariance test criteria so they were eliminated, and 4 items were eliminated because they did not meet the requirements of Outfit MNSQ and ZTSD and Pt Mean Corr. The raw variance contained in the analysis is 44.3% where this value has met the unidimensionality requirement. The analysis conducted almost all met the requirements of the Rasch Model.

    No full text
This study aims to analyze the effect of psychological distress on sleep quality among workers and to examine the role of sleep hygiene as a moderating variable. The approach used is a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study sample involved 162 workers in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Tangerang areas, selected using convenience sampling. Variable measurements were conducted using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Sleep Hygiene Practice Scale (SHPS), and Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10). Data analysis included partial t-tests to identify relationships between variables and interaction tests to assess moderating effects. The study results indicate that psychological distress has a negative and significant effect on sleep quality (β = 0.392; p < 0.05). This means that the higher the level of psychological distress, the lower the individual’s sleep quality. In addition, sleep hygiene was also found to have a positive and significant effect on sleep quality, but it did not act as a moderator in the relationship between psychological distress and sleep quality. These findings confirm that the implementation of healthy sleep practices can help improve sleep quality, but cannot completely mitigate the negative impact of psychological distress on sleep quality

Infidelity in relationships is increasingly common in marriage and dating relationships. Its strong effect on mental health makes this topic worthy of further research, especially in perceptions of dating infidelity relationships. Perceptions of dating infidelity have three dimensions: ambiguous, deceptive, and explicit infidelity. This study uses a quantitative design with a total of 77 women and using convenience sampling. We analyzed using simple regression analysis. Data collection used The Forgiveness Scale and Perception of Dating Infidelity Scale. The results of this study indicate a significant negative effect between the perception of dating infidelity and forgiveness behavior in the women population who are victims of infidelity value F(1,75) = 5,114, p= 0.027, adj. R2= 0.051, and regression coefficient (β=-0,091). Ambiguous behavior F(1,75) = 4,582, p= 0.036, adj. R2= 0.045, and regression coefficient (β=-0,077) and deceptive behavior F(1,75) = 4,035, p= 0.048, adj. R2= 0.038, and regression coefficient (β=-0,054) dimensions have a significant relationship with forgiveness. Whereas explicit behavior is not significant F(1,75) = 1,425, p= 0.236, adj. R2= 0.006, and regression coefficient (β=-0,028). This research is an initial study on the perception of dating infidelity in Indonesia. It can be expected to be helpful as a study material in designing educational activities such as preventing infidelity in marriage preparation

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

The digital age is an era that facilitates human in many ways, including learning in Islam. The ease in getting internet access and great curiosity in Islamic teaching make the community, especially young people can get qualified Islamic Lecturer (Ustadz) lectures in just one click, like Youtube (online). On the other hand, there are some experts who say that in Islamic Learning, individual should immediately come face to face in attending the lecture and have a lot of friends to motivate the learning (offline). Islamic learning has been viewed as a tools in rasing the faith to God (Allah); in the deity that cannot be seen, in which the spiritual well being is the one of helping indicators in comprehending life. Spiritual well-being is a variable of social psychology and positive psychology that supports a person in understanding the meaning of life and one's belief in a power greater than oneself. Some literature reveals some discussions with his religion, then getting closer to Allah. Quantitative research methods were used in this study. The sample consisted of 100 people consisting of 15 to 24 years with a convenience sampling technique. The data that has been analyzed found that there is no difference in Spiritual Well Being among Youth participating in Islamic lecture both online and offlin

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
