    This service is in the form of a seminar that aims to provide understanding to students in writing accredited national scientific articles. This service activity was carried out at IAIN Kediri. This seminar activity consists of 4 activities, namely: presentation of material by the servant, review of scientific articles of one of the students by the servant, question and answer, and evaluation of community service. The results of the evaluation of this service activity show that the percentage of the questionnaire filling score is 86.6% which is in the high category which means that this workshop is very successful in providing understanding to participants in writing scientific articles. This success was due to good cooperation between the committee, presenters, and participants in participating in this workshop. Pengabdi recommends that so that students can write scientific articles, students must understand three knowledge, namely about: writing stages, writing scientific article components and submitting scientific articles to journals

    Peta konsep merupakan bagian penting dalam membuat modul pembelajaran. Akan tetapi guru-guru di MAN Lumajang masih kesulitan dalam membuat peta konsep dikarenakan tidak memahami cara membuat peta konsep dan tidak mengetahui aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk desain peta konsep. Kesulitan-kesulitan ini dapat diatasi dengan memberikan pelatihan desain peta konsep menggunakan aplikasi CmapTools. Aplikasi CmapTools merupakan salah satu aplikasi yang digunakan untuk mendesain peta konsep. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan kemudahan dalam mendesain peta konsep. Pelatihan ini terbagi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu praktik, presentasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pada saat praktik guru-guru antusias dan mampu mendesain peta konsep. Saat presentasi, guru-guru telah menunjukkan pemahaman terhadap peta konsep. Dan dari evaluasi diperoleh respon guru sangat tinggi terhadap pelatihan ini, yaitu sebesar 92,6%

    Kebutuhan Kegiatan Webinar tentang Disposisi Berpikir

    Abstract. This thinking disposition is important for a teacher and prospective teacher. However, there a prospective teacher who understands the thinking disposition. Therefore, it is important to conduct a webinar to equip prospective teachers about thinking dispositions. Before the webinar activity is carried out, it is necessary to analyze the needs for the implementation of the webinar on thinking disposition. Therefore, the purpose of this study is needed analyze implementing a webinar activity on thinking dispositions. This research method is quantitative research with a survey approach. This survey was conducted on 84 respondents consisting of 69 undergraduate students, 1 doctoral student, 10 teachers, and 4 lecturers. The survey data collected in this study consisted of questionnaire data about respondents' knowledge of thinking dispositions and their opinions in participating in webinar activities of thinking dispositions. The data of questionnaire results show that the knowledge of respondents about the thinking disposition is 38.45% which is in the very low category. Data of respondents' opinions show that 50% of respondents do not know about thinking dispositions and 42% of respondents know little about thinking dispositions. Thus the results of the questionnaire and respondents' opinions indicate that a webinar activity of thinking dispositions is needed which aims to increase students' knowledge of thinking dispositions. Keywords: needs analysis, webinar, thinking disposition. Abstrak. Disposisi berpikir ini penting untuk dimiliki oleh seorang guru dan mahasiswa calon guru. Akan tetapi, masih sedikit mahasiswa calon guru yang memahami tentang disposisi berpikir. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk dilaksanakan webinar dalam rangka membekali mahasiswa calon guru tentang disposisi berpikir. Sebelum kegiatan webinar dilakukan, terlebih dahulu dilakukan analisis kebutuhan pelaksanaan webinar tentang disposisi berpikir. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisis kebutuhan pelaksanaan kegiatan webinar tentang disposisi berpikir. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Survei ini dilakukan terhadap 84 responden yang terdiri dari 69 mahasiswa S1, 1 mahasiswa S3, 10 Guru, dan 6 Dosen. Data hasil survei yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data angket tentang pengetahuan responden terhadap disposisi berpikir dan pendapatnya dalam mengikuti kegiatan webinar tentang disposisi berpikir. Data yang berupa hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan responden tentang disposisi berpikir sebesar 38,45% yang berada pada kategori sangat rendah. Data yang berupa pendapat responden menunjukkan bahwa 50% responden belum mengetahui tentang disposisi berpikir dan 42% responden hanya mengetahui sedikit tentang disposisi berpikir. Dengan demikian, hasil pengisian angket dan pendapat responden menunjukkan bahwa dibutuhkan adanya kegiatan webinar tentang disposisi berpikir yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang disposisi berpikir.     Error analysis of prospective mathematics teachers in solving of applying radian measurement problem in trigonometry courses

    This research aims to describe the mistakes of the prospective teachers in solving the application of radian measurement problems and their causes. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The types of data collection in this research consisted of the results of the subject's work and transcripts of interviews with research subjects. By following the type of data, this research instrument consists of one question about the problem of applying radian measurement and interview guidelines developed by the researchers. Data analysis of the subject's work is carried out by classifying the types of errors to know the types of errors that arise in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements. While the transcript analysis of the interview results was carried out by coding the words to determine the factors causing the errors that appeared. The results of the research indicate that the error in solving the problem of applying the radian measurement are misconceptions and factual errors. This misconception is generally caused by intuitive thinking, while this factual error is generally caused by not paying careful attention to the information in the question. The solution to these errors is to analyze the elements of the circle that are interconnected in solving the problem of applying the radian measurements and to be careful in writing the information that is known in the question

    SISTEM PENDUKUNG PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN REKRUTMEN GURU MENGGUNAKAN LOGIKA FUZZY TAHANI

    One effort to get teachers who are competent in their fields is to conduct a teacher recruitment process based on four teacher competencies, namely personal, social, pedagogic, and professional competencies. However, the obstacle of the teacher recruitment process that often done is the subjectivity of decision-making. One way to overcome subjectivity in teacher recruitment is by using tahani fuzzy logic. For this reason, this study aims to determine the implementation of tahani fuzzy logic in the supporting system of decision making for teacher admissions based on the results of the four teacher competency tests. This research consists of three stages. The first stage is determining the function of the degree of membership from the value of personal, social, pedagogical, and professional competencies. The second step is designing the tahani fuzzification program using Microsoft Excel. The third stage is implementing the fuzzy tahani program that successfully created for the decision to make admissions. The results showed that teacher acceptance decision making using tahani fuzzy logic was better than just using an average value. Because tahani fuzzy logic considers various criteria, while the average only considers one criterion that has a high value

    Pelatihan Penyusunan Bahan Ajar Berbasis Pendekatan Deep Learning Bagi Guru Matematika di Kabupaten Lumajang

    This community service program aims to improve teachers’ understanding and skills in developing instructional materials based on the deep learning approach. The program was implemented through training and mentoring activities involving 35 mathematics teachers. Evaluation instruments consisted of two questionnaires: a 17-item questionnaire measuring teachers’ understanding of the deep learning approach and a 14-item questionnaire assessing teachers’ skills in developing deep learning–based instructional materials. The questionnaire data were analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that the teachers’ average level of understanding of the deep learning approach reached 83.63%, while their skills in developing instructional materials reached 82.62%, both of which fall into the very good category. These findings imply that the program effectively enhanced teachers’ understanding and skills in designing deep learning–based instructional materials and supports government efforts to implement deep learning–oriented instruction

    KESALAHAN MAHASISWA SEMESTER PERTAMA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH FUNGSI TRIGONOMETRI SUDUT TIDAK LANCIP

    Hasil penelitian pendahuluan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa semester pertama masih banyak mengalami kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan masalah fungsi trigonometri sudut tidak lancip. Kesalahan-kesalahan ini perlu diteliti lebih lanjut. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan mahasiswa semester pertama dalam menyelesaikan masalah fungsi trigonometri sudut tidak lancip beserta faktor-faktor penyebabnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap mahasiswa semester pertama yang mengalami kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan masalah fungsi trigonometri sudut tidak lancip. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 7 mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika di salah satu perguruan tinggi di kota Malang. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu hasil pekerjaan subjek dan transkrip hasil wawancara dengan subjek. Analisis hasil pekerjaan subjek dilakukan secara deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengategorikan kesalahan subjek. Sedangkan analisis transkrip hasil wawancara dilakukan dengan pengkodean yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 38 mahasiswa yang mengalami kesalahan diperoleh: 53% mengalami kesalahan konsep, 31% mengalami kesalahan hitung, dan 16% mengalami kesalahan fakta. Kesalahan konsep disebabkan karena kesalahpahaman terhadap konsep sudut referensi dan tidak memperhatikan kuadran. Kesalahan hitung disebabkan kesalahpahaman terhadap operasi hitung dan kurang teliti. Kesalahan fakta disebabkan kurang memperhatikan informasi dalam soal. The results of preliminary research show that the first semester students still experience many errors in solving the problem of non-acute angle trigonometric functions. These errors need further investigation. Therefore, this study aims to describe the errors of the first semester students in solving the problem of non-acute angle trigonometric functions and their causes. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study approach to first semester students who experience errors in solving the problem of non-acute angle trigonometric functions. The subjects of this research consisted of 7 students of the mathematics education study program at one of the universities in Malang. The data collected in this study are the results of the subject's work and transcripts of interviews with the subject. Analysis of the results of the subject's work is done descriptively which aims to categorize the subject's errors. While the transcript analysis of the interview results was carried out by coding which aims to determine the factors causing the subject's errors. The results showed that of the 38 students who had errors obtained: 53% had misconceptions, 31% had miscalculations, and 16% had factual errors. Misconceptions are caused due to misunderstanding of the concept of the reference angle and not paying attention to quadrants. Miscalculations are caused by a misunderstanding of arithmetic operations and less thoroughness. Factual errors are caused by not paying attention to the information in the questions

    Analisis Kesalahan Siswa dalam Menilai Kebenaran Suatu Pernyataan

    The reasonings students provided in assessing the truth of a statement still show many mistakes. Therefore, this present research aimed to find the students errors in judging the truth of a statement. The present research employed a qualitative approach, and the participants were 10th-grade senior high school students in one of Lumajang district. This research instrument consisted of three questions demanding evaluative abilities. The findings showed that the students made three kinds of errors reasoning in judging the truth of the statements, which are conceptual errors, principle errors, and factual errors. This study is implied to the Mathematics teachers to provide students opportunities to construct definitions, distinguish the differences among the characteristics of two and three-dimensional figures, and to explain the meaning of mathematical symbols in various contexts to avoid conceptual errors, principle errors, and factual errors

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
