No full textThis study was conducted aimed at analyzing deviant behavior in the Hujan dan Teduh novels by Wulan Dewatra. In addition, with the existence of this study, it can be seen the forms of deviant behavior, factors that cause deviant behavior, and the effects of deviant behavior in the novel. In this study, used a type of qualitative research with descriptive methods. The findings in this study are, (1) the forms of deviant behavior in Wulan Dewatra's Hujan dan Teduh novels include, antisocial, sexual relations outside marriage, homosexuality, and violence, (2) factors that cause deviant behavior in the novel Hujan dan Teduh Wulan Dewatra's work includes unhealthy mental attitude factors, impingement of disappointment, and deviant learning processes. CITRA FISIK, PSIKIS, DAN SOSIAL TOKOH UTAMA PEREMPUAN DALAM NOVEL HUJAN DAN TEDUH KARYA WULAN DEWATRA
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan dalam novel Hujan dan Teduh karangan Wulan Dewatra dengan menggunakan pendekatan kritik sastra feminis. Metode penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan 120 data yang berpotensi ditemukan citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan, yaitu 102 data yang menunjukkan aspek fisik tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek fisik, terdiri atas: jenis kelamin, usia, keadaan tubuh, dan ciri wajah terdapat 17 data (16,6%). Citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek psikis, terdiri atas: mentalitas, ukuran moral, dapat membedakan yang benar dan salah, temperamen, keinginan, perasaan pribadi, sikap, perilaku, dan tingkat kecerdasan terdapat 71 data (69,6%). Citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek sosial, terdiri atas: pekerjaan, peran dalam masyarakat, tingkat pendidikan, pandangan hidup, kepercayaan, ideologi, bangsa, suku, dan kehidupan pribadi terdapat 14 data (13,7%). Citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek psikis menjadi data yang paling dominan karena fokus pengarang yang memperlihatkan perubahan citra psikis di dalam diri tokoh utamanya. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan dalam novel Hujan dan Teduh karangan Wulan Dewatra memperlihatkan suatu pandangan sosial terhadap perempuan.Kata kunci: citra fisik, psikis, dan sosial tokoh utama perempuan, novel Hujan dan Teduh, kritik sastra femini

novel Hujan dan Teduh karangan Wulan Dewatra dengan menggunakan
pendekatan kritik sastra feminisme dan deskriptif kualitatif melalui analisis isi.
Hal ini berdasarkan latar belakang masalah bahwa novel Hujan dan Teduh
merupakan novel yang memenangi juara satu sayembara Gagas Media yang berisi
banyak citra perempuan yang direpresentasikan oleh tokoh utama perempuan di di
dalamnya. Penelitian ini menganalisis citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau
berdasarkan aspek fisik, citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek
psikis, dan citra tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek sosial. Hasil
dari penelitian ditemukan 120 data namun hanya 102 data yang menunjukkan citra
tokoh utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek fisik, terdiri atas: jenis
kelamin, usia, keadaan tubuh, dan ciri wajah terdapat 17 data (16,6%). Citra tokoh
utama perempuan ditinjau berdasarkan aspek psikis, terdiri atas: mentalitas,
ukuran moral, dapat membedakan yang benar dan salah, temperamen, keinginan,

memperlihatkan perubahan citra psikis di dalam dirinya. Implikasi pada penelitian
ini yakni untuk pembelajaran sastra di jenjang SMA khususnya materi ajar novel
yang terdapat di kelas XII sesuai Kurikulum 2013 revisi 2017, dengan kompetensi
dasar 3.9 Menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel dan 4.9 Merancang novel atau
novelet dengan memperhatikan isi dan kebahasaa
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
