KONSTRUKSI IBUISME DALAM NOVEL KINANTI KARYA MARGARETH WIDHY PRATIWI

This research departs from the social phenomenon in which women are forced to make a choice between prioritizing public or domestic affairs. This choice is a difficult one for women who hold the position of wife and mother in the institution known as a family. This difficulty arises when such women decide to focus on their public affairs, whereas society has already established its own concept regarding womanhood: a woman should prioritize her domestic role as a mother and wife, taking care of all household necessities. This phenomenon is represented in numerous novels, including Margareth Widhy Pratiwis Kinanti. Questions arising from this background are how the concept of motherhood is represented in Kinanti, and why that concept is reproduced by Margareth Widhy Pratiwi, the author. These research questions have been investigated using Julia Suryakusumas concept of Ibuisme (mother-ism), which discusses the construction of womens roles as mothers and housewives, as well as the ideal manifestations of these roles according to society. Through the compiled data, including words, sentences, and paragraphs showing how the ideal of motherhood is constructed, as well as womens actions and societys opinions, the ideal concept of a mother can be understood. Research indicates that women currently hold dual roles, as wives/mothers and as career women. As women are expected to give birth to a child, they are expected to have maternal instincts, maternal instincts which are expected to keep women (at least partially) in the domestic arena. In their role as housewives, women are held responsible for the smooth continuation of life in the household. It is this expectation, however, which has pushed women to move to the public arena. Society expects that women will use the public arena to actualize themselves, with the ultimate goal of giving a positive contribution to their famil

This work has the objective to investigate and analyze the challenges and confrontations that women over 35 encounter in the process of insertion to Higher Education in the Pedagogy course of the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Gragoatá/Niterói (FEUFF). The methodology was anchored in the qualitative autobiographical approach and through narratives, with volunteers who answered a semi structured questionnaire and comprehensive interview. It explored the reasons that led them to interrupt their studies, the processes for their return, as well as the challenges they face in the course. It was sought to understand the impacts that the return to the classroom caused in their personal and family life, as well as their personal experiences, motivations, and perspectives for their professional future. To this, an analysis was made based on the experiences of each woman, including myself as both author and research source, which I call participant research. The correlation between Social Pedagogy and the motivation for this research, appropriating myself as references for the discussion, Paulo Freire (1982), Carl Jung, Margareth Martins, among other authors. The results were analyzed by the concepts of Bardin (2006) and allowed me to amplify the awareness about the realities of these women, the relationships built along the way within the university space, the conflicts experienced, the emotional factors and the multitasking performed by most women, as well as the power of family representation.57 p

A partir dessa leitura, visa-se identificar os pontos de intersecção entre o estabelecimento da Etologia e da Neurociência, as quais começaram os seus processos de constituição como novas áreas de pesquisa científicas nas décadas finais do século XIX e que se consolidaram no século XXAs a contribution to the history of scientific thought and specifically to the epistemology of ethology and neuroscience, this research sought to identify historically the process of constitution of ethology from the late nineteenth century on when the idea that behavior patterns characteristics of living species (such as movements during courtship during the mating period) allowed their use with specific taxonomic value for the classification of living beings, which until then was limited to the use of anatomical feature patterns. This search process seeks to retrieve the historical origins and evaluate how much of the process of formation of the concepts of ethology is related to that of neuroscience, highlighting the task of reconstructing knowledge from the analysis of events in these two areas. The process of neuroscience formation is linked to the constitution of neuronal theory (or doctrine), commonly associated with the name of the Spanish physician and histologist Santiago Ramón y Cajal (1852-1934). Cajal\'s work is considered a turning point in neuroscience research, since the formulation of the neuronal theory was in opposition to the proposal that nervous tissue consists of continuous networks formed by nerve cells, the reticularist theory, which had as its of the most ardent defenders the Italian physician and histologist Camillo Golgi (1843-1926). Attention will be given to recognizing the simultaneous developments of debates and advances in the establishment of the two areas due to the prominence of a new conceptual framework that begins its formation process from the evolutionary theories proposed by the British naturalist Charles Robert Darwin (1809-1882). From this standing point, the aim is to identify the points of intersection between the establishment of ethology and neuroscience, which began their processes of constitution as new areas of scientific research in the late nineteenth century and consolidated in the twentieth centur

The present article is an introduction to the thought of Elisabeth Anscombe, British philosopher and a follower of Wittgenstein's, author of Intention (1957), which was one of the main sources of inspiration for contemporary philosophy of action. Without claiming to be exhaustive, which would be impossible, this article aims to articulate the links in her work between philosophy of mind, moral philosophy and philosophy of language. The objective is to do justice to Anscombe's original approach, in particular in her refusal to treat intention as a pure mental state and her defense of the peculiarity of practical knowledge compared to theoretical one
