    AbstractNovel Dua Cinta Negeri Sakura is one of the novels by Irene Dyah. This novel by Irene Dyah does not only tell about romance but an interesting social point of view. What are the values of the social aspects contained in the novel Dua Cinta Negeri Sakura and how do the readers influence society from the social aspects in the novel Dua Cinta Negeri Sakura. The aim is to describe the influence of the social aspects of the novel on the reader. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods. Then, the technique used by the author is literature study technique. Any data that has been recorded in the form of a page number sentence and the paragraph number listed. The data resulting from this study are in the form of a big picture of several sentences that contain social aspects. Then, describe the influence of the social aspects of the sentence on the reader. The results of this study, the aspects contained in the novel Dua Cinta Negeri Sakura by Irene Dyah, namely the values of religion, culture, morals, education, economy, social environment. Then, the effect obtained on these values can influence it not only in theory, but the reader will apply it in real life or to the surrounding community

    Mengingat pentingnya komunikasi didalam setiap aspek kehidupan terutama dalam dunia kerja pada umumnya dan sekretaris sebagai pemegang peran utama dalam menjembatani komunikasi didalam perusahaan tersebut. Sehubungan dengan pekerjaaan sekretaris yang banyak berkomunikasi dalam dunia kerjanya, dan diketahui pula sekretaris merupakan pusat informasi sehingga dalam kinerjanya lebih banyak bernteraksi dengan lingkungan dan orang-orang sekitarnya dan sehubungan dengan ilmunya sekretaris memiliki fungsi sebagai PR internal. Kecakapan seseorang dalam berkomunikasi secara verbal yang jelas tidak dipengaruhi oleh IQ (kecerdasan intelegensi ) tetapi salah satunya mendapat pengaruh dari EQ (kecerdasan emosional). Kecerdasan emosional (EQ) banyak berpengaruh pada setiap aspek kehidupan, bahkan para ahli mengemukakan bahwa keberhasilan dalam hidup terdiri dari 50% kecerdasan emosional, 20 % kecerdasan intelegensi, sisanya untuk kerja keras dan ketekunan. Untuk itu akan dikupas pengaruh kecerdasan emosional (EQ) terhadap komunikasi, dalam hal ini komunikasi verbal sekretaris sehingga akan memudahkan hubungan kerjasama diantara rekan sekerja dan meminimalkan salah paham yang mungkin timbul karena adanya penangkapan yang kurang tepat terhadap apa yang disampaikan

    The aims of this study are: 1) to analyze the Girindrawardhana Dyah Ranawijaya dynasty from several inscriptions from the late Majapahit period; 2) How is the relationship between the Girindrawardhana Dyah Ranawijaya dynasty and the previous kings of Majapahit. The main sources used are inscriptions such as the Petak Inscription, the Trailokyapuri (Jiyu) I Inscription, the Trailokyapuri (Jiyu) II Inscription, and the Trailokyapuri (Jiyu) III Inscription. The primary source obtained by the author is observational data in the field, namely Dusun Hamlet, Petak Village, Pacet District, Mojokerto Regency. The results of the study reject the notion that the figure of Girindrawardhana Dyah Ranawijaya is the new ruler of the Majapahit kingdom from the new dynasty - the Girindrawardhana Dynasty - in the late Majapahit period. But the later kings of Majapahit used the title name Girindrawardhana which means "Successor of Girindra". They are still descendants of the previous Majapahit kings. Thus, in the Majapahit Kingdom there was only one ruling dynasty, namely the Girindra Dynasty (Girindrawansa) or the Rajasa Dynasty (Rajawansa) which was founded by Sri Rangah Rajasa Bhattara San Amurwwabhumi alias Ken Arok.     Disaster Mitigation in Coastal Areas: Perspective of the Indonesian Spatial Planning Law

    This article is a critical analysis on spatial planning with regard to disaster mitigation in coastal areas. The author explores the concepts and regulations of disaster mitigation and spatial planning in Indonesian coastal areas to identify how spatial planning works in terms of disaster mitigation in coastal areas and the roles of stakeholders in disaster mitigation in coastal areas in the context of the spatial planning law. This normative legal research was conducted by examining secondary data from relevant books, journals, and published documents. This study finds out that, first, according to the Spatial Planning Law, Management of Coastal Zone and Small Islands Law, Disaster Management Law, Job Creation Law, and their derivative regulations, there have been regulations mandating spatial planning as a non-structural mitigative measure with regard to disaster management in coastal areas. Second, in terms of spatial planning and disaster mitigation, the government is the dominant stakeholder, while the role of non-government stakeholders is not expressly provided for which may eventually result in "tokenism" participation in disaster mitigation in coastal areas

    Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik dan partisiapsi social ibu dengan kemampuan menafsirkan pesan-pesan pertumbuhan bayi pada buku KIS di puskesmas Sidorejo Lor Kotamadya Salatiga. Penelitian bersifat eksplanatory research dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 70 orang ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 1-2 tahun dan mempunyai buku KIS yang diambil secara systematic random sampling. Uji statistik yang digunakan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara variabel adalah uji korelasi Product Moment dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%) dan Uji beda Chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pendidian, peritas dan partisipasi social ibu dengan pengetahuan responden mengenai kesehatan bayi dan kemampuan menafsirkan pesan pertumbuhan bayi. Umur dan pekerjaan ibu dengan pengetahuan responden mengenai kesehatan bayi dan kemampuan menafsirkan pesan pertumbuhan bayi tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang bermakna. Pengetahuan kesehatan bayi dengan kemampuan menafsirkan pesan pertumbuhan bayi pada buku KIA menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat bermakna. INDO VENEER Surakarta YEAR 2015 HIGHLIGHTS Thesis, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. September, 2015 The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of: 1) the welfare of employees on employee performance, 2) the work environment on employee performance, 3) the welfare of employees and the work environment on employee performance. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The research population is all employees amounted to 290 people with a sample of 158 employees were taken by simple random sampling technique. Data collected by questionnaire. Questionnaire tested the validity and reliability as well as test requirements dilkakukan data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, ujiR2dansumbangan relatively and effectively. The research found that: 1) there is positive and significant influence on employee performance employee benefits evidenced by 0.526 regression coefficient is positive and obtained t> t table is 6.385> 1.984 and the significance value t table is 6.164> 1.984 and the significance value Ftable is 113.795> 3.00 and a value of 0.05 is 0.000 <0.05; 4) the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.595 obtained show that the employee's performance is influenced by a combination of variables the welfare of employees and the work environment of 59.5% comprising 30.4% of the welfare of employees and 29.1% of the working environment and the remaining 40, 5% are influenced by variables studied.     Do Emotional Intelligence and Ethical Leadership Elevate Work Engagement? The Mediating Role of Psychological Capital

    The level of employees’ work engagement can affect an organization's resilience amid business competition. However, banking employees are often faced with rigid working hours that can affect the level of work engagement of employees. This study aims to determine the role of emotional intelligence and ethical leadership in the work engagement of banking employees. Furthermore, this study also investigates the mediating role of psychological capital because it still requires further research. The sample involved in the study was 206 employees of conventional commercial banks in Indonesia. The structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis results show that emotional intelligence, ethical leadership, and psychological capital can affect work engagement. On the other hand, psychological capital partially mediates the influence of emotional and ethical leadership on work engagement. Therefore, the result of this study can strengthen the job demands-resources theory. To increase work engagement, a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence, ethical leadership, and psychological capital can help the banking sector retain employees, improve employee and organizational performance, and maintain a competitive advantage amid intense competition between banks in Indonesia

Masyarakat merupakan penyumbang utama sumber penerimaan dalam APBD melalui pajak dan retribusi maka sudah sepantasnya masyarakat dilibatkan dalam proses penyusunannya. Implementasi hak rakyat dalam APBD dapat diwujudkan dalam keterlibatan masyarakat secara partisipatif dalam proses perencanaan dan penganggaran. Masyarakat sering tidak puas dengan kinerja APBD dan keluhan ketimpangan yang terjadi antara pengeluaran pemerintah dan publik menjadi sorotan. Dengan keluarnya UU no. 25 Tahun 2004 Tentang Sistem Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional dan UU no. 17 Tahun 2003 Tentang Keuangan Negara memberi kesempatan bagi masyarakat untuk ikut terlibat dalam proses perencanaan dan penganggaran
