No full textFilm merupakan karya desain komunikasi visual yang bisa mempengaruhi perilaku masyarakat. Sebagai karya komunikasi visual, tentunya film memiliki tanda-tanda visual. Memahami tanda-tanda visual akan membantu proses identifikasi terhadap pesan-pesan terselubung. Karya tulis ini bermaksud menggali makna dari tanda visual film “Opera Jawa” karya Garin Nugroho. Untuk menjawab permasalahan di atas, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Charles Pierce yang membagi tanda ke dalam tiga golongan besar yaitu ikon, indeks, dan simbol. Melalui tanda visual ini peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa film “Opera Jawa” memiliki makna cinta yang menjadi hak setiap orang, kebenaran yang hakiki, dan nasib rakyat kecil yang selalu menjadi korban. Selain memiliki makna yang dalam, “Opera Jawa” merupakan pertunjukan wayang orang yang dikemas dalam bentuk film dan mengusung budaya multimedia. Keistimewaan film ini layak menjadi contoh dan bahan diskusi atau kajian baik di sekolah maupun tingkat perguruan tinggi sebagai pelestarian budaya apresiasi

No full textTangkahan merupakan tempat berlabuhnya kapal-kapal ikan dan pendaratan hasil tangkapan yang didirikan oleh swasta dan digunakan sebagai tempat pemasaran dan distribusi hasil perikanan. Fasilitas dan aktifitas yang ada di tangkahan sama seperti yang ada di pelabuhan perikanan. Seluruh usaha perikanan tangkap di Kecamatan Babalan berlangsung di tangkahan. Interaksi yang terjadi antara nelayan dengan toke sebagai pemilik tangkahan menyebabkan terjadinya hubungan patron-klien atau ketergantungan antara nelayan dengan toke. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur interaksi sosial, faktor penentu terjadinya hubungan patron-klien, dan hubungan tingkat interaksi dengan tingkat pendapatan nelayan di tangkahan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat interaksi dari aspek ekonomi tergolong dalam kategori sering dengan nilai sebesar 21,09 dan tingkat interaksi dari aspek non-ekonomi tergolong dalam kategori jarang dengan nilai sebesar 16,93. Faktor yang paling menentukan terjadinya hubungan patron-klien di tangkahan adalah biaya operasional penangkapan dan pemasaran hasil tangkapan. Selain itu program jaminan kesehatan pemerintah sedikit merubah pola ketergantungan nelayan dalam jaminan kesehatan yang selama ini bergantung pada pinjaman dari toke. Hubungan tingkat interaksi dengan tingkat pendapatan memiliki hubungan yang lemah dengan nilai 0,18
PROSES KREATIF SIDIK NUGROHO DALAM PENULISAN NOVEL TEWASNYA GAGAK HITAM
No full textAbstractThis study aims to describe the implementation is how Sidik Nugroho obtained the source of the idea, through the incubation process, pouring the idea of the novel Tewasnya Gagak Hitam, implementation in the form of text in Indonesian language learning related to Sidik Nugroho's creative process in writing the novel Tewasnya Gagak Hitam. The approach in this research is expressivism with the data collection technique is a documentary study technique. The data collection tool is the researcher as the key instrument assisted by writing instruments and research instruments. The data source of this research is Sidik Nugroho as the author of the novel Tewasnya Gagak Hitam with data in the form of video recordings of the results of the interview with Sidik Nugroho. The technique of testing the validity of the data used triangulation persistence and referential adequacy.The results showed that the creative process data of Sidik Nugroho in the writing of the novel Tewasnya Gagak Hitam were found to be 17 forms consisting of 6 forms of idea sources, 5 forms of incubation processes, and 6 forms of pouring ideas. The implementation plan for learning the results of this research is combined with Indonesian language learning in class X SMA/equivalent level in the 2013 curriculum with KD 3.14 Assessing things that can be imitated from biographical texts KD 4.14 Revealing things that can be imitated from the characters contained in the biographical texts read in writing.Keywords: Learning, Text Reviews, and Writin

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana konsumen mempersepsikan Cafe Rindang UKSW yang merupakan salah satu cafe yang ada di dalam area kampus utama UKSW. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan etnografi, penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 25 orang responden. Dimana data diperoleh dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk kemudian dianalisis dan ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Konsumen mempersepsikan Cafe Rindang melebihi esensi dari sebuah cafe itu sendiri, yaitu sebagai ruang yang memiliki potensi dan menghasilkan manfaat Fasilitas dan kenyamanan mendasari alasan konsumen untuk datang ke Cafe Rindang Konsumen melakukan aktivitas yang berbasis intelektual disamping hanya melakukan transaksi jual beli. No full textRegional competitivesness is originated from an internal forces that produce an
added value. The internal forces is based on technological innovation and
entrepreneurial abilities (Drabenstott, 2006). The innovation is illustrated as a fuel, while
entrepreneurship is the engine. Both are a source of employment, income and welfare.
An entrepreneurial ability of local people on ecotourism activities in the Bromo Tengger
Semeru National Park (BTS NP) has developed naturally (Nugroho, 2006; 2007;
Nugroho and Negara, 2008). The people are often involved in ecotourism development
programs held by the BTS NP. The author’s study (Nugroho, Negara and Purnomowati,
2010) proved that the ecotourism activities were economically viable than the
horticultural farm.
However, these experiences have not fully produced significant benefits in the
development of ecotourism. Characteristic of the ecotourism activities is a cluster (Fodor
and Sitanyi, 2008a, 2008b), which always put the local people in a less advantageous
position. The ecotourism cluster is an ecotourism organization (Prieto, Gilmore and Osiri,
2009) that involve the local people, non-governmental organizations, private actors, the
national parks and government to produce ecotourism entrepreneurship. The result of
research the author (Nugroho, Negara and Nugroho, 2009) shows that the phenomenon
of social entrepreneurship is an important component of conceptual framework of
ecotourism entrepreneurship. This requires all parties to act to be a social entrepreneur

A bibliometric analysis of preclinical trials of Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f.) Nees in diabetes mellitus
No full textThe prevalence of diabetes mellitus has increased over time. Medicinal plants, including Andrographis paniculata (Burm.f) Nees, are recognized for their use to manage hyperglycemia. Nowadays, plenty of papers are published about A. paniculata as an antidiabetic; however, no bibliometric study about the topic exists. This study examines the existing papers about the preclinical trial of A. paniculata as an antidiabetic agent using bibliometric analysis focusing on countries, institutions, publishers, authors, documents, and keywords. Bibliographic information of relevant research and conference articles were obtained from the Scopus database.
In total, 97 articles published between 1994 and 2021 were selected, covering 376 authors and 1270 keywords. Data were analyzed bibliometrically using Vosviewer 1.6.16. A total of 97 published papers occurred from 1994 to 2021 were selected. India, Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), Journal of Ethnopharmacology, and Agung Endro Nugroho (Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia) were the most productive country, institution, publisher, and author, respectively. The analysis of the most influential papers, co-citation network of the most influential papers, bibliographical coupling network based on authors, and keyword co-occurrence network and overlay demonstrated that the abundance and variety of existing papers about preclinical trials of A. paniculata as an antidiabetic were from phytochemistry, pharmacology, and drug formulation. The findings of our analysis have implications for managerial and theoretical aspects on this topic, such as encouraging research collaborations by analyzing the contributions of countries, institutions, publishers, and authors and revealing research gaps (molecular mechanisms, toxicities and side effects, drug formulations, and clinical trials) to accept a phytomedicine as a therapeutic option
Surealism in Wewe Gombel Drama Script by M.S. Nugroho
No full textSurrealism was initiated in France by Andre Bretton. In Indonesia, this genre then grows and develops rapidly in most of the drama script. The problem that arises over this phenomenon is whether there is a continuity of this genre when it is reduced to the region of Indonesia, because a work is always born on the influence of socio-cultural conditions that encompass it. And the socio-cultural conditions of Indonesia are of course different from the socio-cultural conditions of France. Issues to be examined is in Wewe Gombel play by MS. Nugroho. A manuscript of Wewe Gombel by MS Nugroho is a surrealism. The form of surrealism in this text lies in the following points. First, it uses myth as the source of the story. Second, in its text, there are also events beyond reason which utilize the human subconscious. Third, the storyline in this drama contains events that can still be traced. The storyline was built on the tangle of events that connect between one and another event which forms an integrated plot. Fourth, the forms of surrealism are used by the author as a means to convey satire of the sickening human condition, especially the bad parenting pattern of parents to their children. There are many satires in almost every dialogue of the drama.</jats:p
Peran Pemerintah Daerah Dalam Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal Melalui Sektor Perikanan Tangkap (Studi pada Dinas Perikanan dan Perternakan Kabupaten Tuban)
No full textDesa Bulumeduro secara geografis memiliki potensi perikanan tangkap yang melimpah. Untuk dapat memaksimalkan potensi sumberdaya perikanan tangkap dalam upaya pengembangan ekonomi lokal, masyarakat Desa Bulumeduro telah berupaya melakukan optimalisasi pemanfaatan sumberdaya perikanan tangkap melalui progam pemberdayaan masyarakat yang di lakukan oleh pemerintah daerah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis bagaimana peran pemerintah daerah, dampak serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal melalui sektor perikanan tangkap. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian diskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Kabupaten Tuban. teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dengan menggunakan metode dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Instrumen yang di gunakan adalah peneliti sendiri, wawancara dan catatan lapang. Analisis data yang di gunakan adalah model interaktif Miles, Huberman dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa peran pemerintah daerah dalam pengembangan ekonomi lokal melalui sektor perikanan tangkap yaitu: 1) peran entrepeneur meliputi pegembangan sumbedaya manusia; 2) peran koordinator bahwa pemerintah daerah bertugas mengkoordinasi stakeholders; 3) Peran fasilitator meliputi bantuan permodalan dan bantuan sarana produksi usaha; 4) peran stimulator meliputi mengadakan pameran. Dampak dari pengembangan ekonomi lokal yaitu: pertama, meningkatnya pendapatan nelayan; kedua, meningkatnya pendapatan pelaku industri pengolahan ikan; ketiga, terjalinnya hubungan kemitraan. Adapun faktor yang menjadi pendukung pengembangan ekonomi lokal yaitu tersedianya sumberdaya perikanan tangkap, peran kelembagaan kelompok usaha perikanan tangkap, dan adanya peran stakeholders yang terlibat dalam pengembangan. Kemudian faktor yang menjadi penghambat yaitu terbatasnya anggaran, kualitas sumberdaya masyarakat masih rendah, serta keterbatasan jumlah aparatur pemerintah daerah Saran yang diberikan peneliti berdasarkan penyajian dan pembahasan skripsi yaitu guna mengoptimalkan pengembangan ekonomi lokal yang di lakukan Dinas Perikanan dan Peternakan Kabupaten Tuban, seharusnya pihak Dinas menambahkan tim petugas pelatihan di lapangan agar petugas bisa menjalankan tugasnya dengan maksimal. Sedangkan saran untuk masyarakat Desa Bulumeduro memanfaatkan fasilitas yang diberikan oleh Dinas secara maksimal
