    PERAN ELITE PEREMPUAN NU JAWA TIMUR DALAM KONTESTASI CAPRES-CAWAPRES 2024

    This research explores the role of the NU East Java women's elite in the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential Contests. NU female elites, both structurally from Fatayat NU and Muslimat NU or from cultural in this case are caregivers of Islamic boarding schools, known as Bunyai and Ning, have a unique authority in choosing and determining support for the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential pair. This research is part of qualitative research. Therefore, the author uses role theory, as well as a webarian analysis related to the motives behind the social actions of the NU women's elite. The results of this study stated that NU women's elites, both structural and cultural, have different choices in responding to the 2024 Presidential and Vice Presidential contests, considering that their support motives are also different. The role of NU women's elites has similarities in winning their respective elections. However, the model is different between Bunyai and Ning and NU women who are active in organizations, both Fatayat NU and Muslimat NU. Of course, the maximum role and firmness of the political stance of the NU Muslimat did have a big impact on the victory of the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka pair, although this attitude is related to the political pragmatism of the NU Muslimat Chairman to contest in the 2024 Regional Elections. Elite wanita NU, baik secara struktural dari Fatayat NU dan Muslimat NU atau secara budaya dalam hal ini adalah pengasuh pesantren, yang dikenal sebagai Bu Nyai dan Ning, memiliki otoritas unik dalam memilih dan menentukan dukungan untuk pasangan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden 2024. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari penelitian kualitatif. Oleh karena itu, penulis menggunakan teori peran, serta analisis webarian terkait dengan motif dibalik tindakan sosial elite wanita NU. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa elite perempuan NU, baik struktural maupun kultural, memiliki pilihan yang berbeda dalam menanggapi kontes Pemilihan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden 2024, mengingat bahwa motif dukungan mereka juga berbeda. Peran elite perempuan NU memiliki kesamaan dalam memenangkan pemilihan masing-masing. Namun, modelnya berbeda antara Bu Nyai dan Ning serta perempuan NU yang aktif di organisasi, baik Fatayat NU maupun Muslimat NU. Tentu saja, peran maksimal dan ketegasan sikap politik Muslimat NU berdampak besar pada kemenangan pasangan Prabowo Subianto dan Gibran Rakabuming Raka, meskipun sikap ini terkait dengan pragmatisme politik Ketua Muslimat NU untuk ikut serta dalam Pemilihan Daerah 2024.     Sufistic Literature from Pesantren: (Textual Studies in the Syi'ir Taqwa Manuscript by KH. Abdul Hadi Langitan)

    This article will examine the Sufistic Literature of Islamic boarding schools with the manuscript of the book Shi'ir Taqwa by KH. Abdul Hadi Langitan Tuban as a study material. For this reason, this article will answer two formulations. First, what is the context of the Sufistic literature of the book Shi'ir Taqwa by KH. Abdul Hadi? Second, how are the Sufistic values in the book of Shi'ir Taqwa by KH. Abdul Hadi is related to human nature? This study uses a philological approach with a focus on the textology of the Shi'ir Taqwa manuscript with a focus on its content and content. In addition, this study also uses a sociology approach of knowledge in order to find the relationship between the Shi'ir Taqwa manuscript and its author, considering that no text is born in a vacuum. From the study, the author concluded; first, the Sufistic literary context of the book Shi'ir Taqwa is the work of KH. Abdul Hadi has a close relationship with the dynamics of Sufism knowledge that develops in the world of Pesantren in this case the Langitan Pesantren. The use of the Javanese pegon language also illustrates that the culture of the pesantren is very strongly related to its community. Second, in substance, Shi'ir Taqwa contains advice that contains the values of moral Sufism. This advice in Sufistic literature leads the process of forming Sufistic reasoning of readers and listeners to continue to be immersed in the values and practices of Sufism

    This paper is an attempt to refresh the understanding of the concepts of Sufism, particularly the concept of mahabbah of al-Ghazâlî. In the course of time, an understanding of the concepts of Sufism often narrowed and this impressed to the practices of Sufism that only oriented to total devotion to God without any awareness to implement the devotion as a code of ethics in the social life. Through his work, Ihyâ’ ‘Ulûm al-Dîn, al-Ghazâlî reviewed concepts, meaning, causes, nature and connection of mahabbah with humanitarian values. Al-Ghazâlî realized that the peak of happiness and peace of mind is the achievement of a person to the true knowledge, which is ma‘rifat Allâh. However, to him, the true knowledge arises from someone’s persistence in affirming its sincerity to God as the implementation of his/her true love that is inimitable. This sincere love gave rise to a worldview that His love is the source of all forms of love to other than Him, the humanbeings and the universe

    The inter-civilization dialogue is necessary: unavoidable. There is no civilization can improve its self without an interaction with other civilization. This phenomenon brings Thaha Husain to review how the civilization of Egypt could be “out of date” compared with the Western civilization. He assumes that it was because of traditional thinking of Muslims. In his opinion, Muslims believe that Islamic tradition is the perfect one: no need to learn from other tradition. Husain talks that to realize this decline is better than to feel perfect (apology). According to Husain, Muslims should learn from history, learn from Western civilization—which is more advanced. In this context, academic fairness is very important for Muslim intellectual to create an academic tradition. Husain supposes that imitating the tradition of the West doesn’t mean imitating its religion. Humanity is the key. From Thaha Husain’s thinking, there are two lessons that can be contemplated. First, life in the tradition is a necessity as life in modern culture. Therefore, there is no tradition which does not accept change and debate in line with the dynamics of humanity.     The presence of Islam within humanity space would, in fact, lead to the creation of life order to fulfill tawhîd and peace of the world. The problem of tawhîd is the very core of life, though its meaning has, sometimes, tended to be theocentric by neglecting anthropocentric dimension. It can be observed through ideological reasoning of radicalism group in defining jihâd as a means of struggle to uphold oneness of God, though this group put less interested in presenting Islam within principles of peace. It suggests that oneness of God (tawhîd) is purely intended to Him and it has no relation with human. This problem needs to be re-observed, if not to be sued, by looking at universal values from the presence of Islam in which it has been so far known as highly honoring peace and values of humanity as well as values of divinity.</p

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
