    The JPS Pathfinding System in 3D

    The ability to quickly compute shortest paths in 3D grids is a technological enabler for several applications such as pipe routing and computer video games. The main challenge is how to deal with the many symmetric permutations of each shortest path. We tackle this problem by adapting Jump Point Search (JPS), a well-known symmetry breaking technique developed for fast pathfinding in 2D grids. We give a rigorous reformulation of the JPS pathfinding system into 3D and we prove that our new algorithm, JPS-3D, is optimality preserving. We also develop a novel method for limiting scan depth during jump operations, which can further reduce search time. Experimental results show significant improvements versus online A* search and previous attempts at generalising JPS. We demonstrate that searching with adaptive scan limits can yield additional speedups of over an order of magnitude

    Krisis ekonomi yang terjadi di Indonesia menyebabkan bertambahnya jumlahbalita yang mengalami KEP. Untuk mengantisipasi hal itu pemerintah mengeluarkan kebijakan program jarring Pengaman Sosial Bidang Kesehatan yang antara lain berupa Pemberian makanan tambahan Pemulihan pada balita. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan BB pada baduta setelah PMTP yang diuji dengan uji ranking bertanda Wicolxon dan uji Walsh dengan alfa 0,047 dan n=06, n=13, n=15. . disamping itu penelitian ini juga ingin mengetahui kesesuaian keputusan statistik dari kedua uji statistik pada alfa 0,047, dan n=6, n=13 dan n=15. Penini termasuk jenis penelitian explanatory survei, dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Sampel penelitian mengikuti jumlah n pada tabel harga-harga kritis uji ranking bertanda Wicolxon dan uji Walsh yang mempunyai nilai alfa 0,047 pada kedua uji berturut-turut jatuh pada n=6, n=13, n=15 yang diulang sebanyak 20 kali untuk setiap n dan setiap uji. Data dieproleh dari laporan program PMTP JPS-BK dan status kesakitan baduta yang telah tersedia di Puskesmas Srandakan maupun dinkes Kabupaten Bantul. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji ranking bertanda Wicolxon, iji Walsh, dan koefisien kesesuaian Kappa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah dengan n=6, baik uji Wilcoxon maupun uji Walsh 13 kali (65%) untuk menerima Ho, sehingga dapat dikatakan pada n=6 kedua uji ini cenderung menerima Ho. Pada n=13 dan n=15 kedua uji menolak Ho pada semua (20 kali atau 100%) pengulangan. Penelitian mengenai kesesuaian uji ranking bertanda Wilcoxon dan uji Walsh dalam keputusan statistik memberi hasil bahwa pada n=6 nilai Kappa=1 dengan interpretasi menunjukkankesesuaian sangat baik. Untuk n=13 dan n=15 nilai Kappa tak terhingga, walaupun demikian diperoleh hasil keputusan statistik kedua uji adalah identik, yaitu menolak Ho pada semua sampel (pengulangan). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada peningkatan BB baduta setelah PMTP bila diuji dengan uji rngking bertanda Wicolxon dan uji Walsh pada alfa 0,05 dan n=6, n=13 dan n=15. sedangkan pada n=6 disimpulkan tidak terdapat peningkatan BB pada baduta setelah PMTP JPS-BK. Disamping itu dapat disimpulkan kesesuaian uji ranking bertanda Wilcoxon dan uji Walsh dalam keputusan statistik adalah sangat baik pada alfa 0,047 dan n=6. sedangkan pada alfa 0,047 dan n=13, n=15 keputusan statistik kedua uji adalah identik, yaitu menolak Ho pada semua sampel (pengulangan). Disarankan untuk terus melanjutkan program PMTP disamping meningkatkan promosi tentang pentingnya gizi bagi baduta, dan untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat meneliti tentang kesesuaian uji ranking bertanda Wilcoxon dan uji Walsh dengan jumlah populasi yang lebih bersar.     Penelitian terdahulu mengenai pengaruh fiksi terhadap empati di Indonesia umumnya dilakukan dengan desain eksperimen, yang mana terbatas hasilnya pada setting eksperimen itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hal yang serupa namun dengan desain non-eksperimen. Bersama variabel narrative empathy, penelitian ini berupaya meneliti pengaruh fiksi terhadap empati dengan menggunakan Author Recognition Test (ART) untuk keterpaparan fiksi, Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) untuk empati, dan skala EDI untuk narrative empathy. Partisipan penelitian adalah 332 pembaca fiksi di Indonesia yang merupakan pengikut akun seputar sastra di media sosial Twitter. Partisipan penelitian diminta mengisi kuesioner online melalui Google Form. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS IBM versi 20. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa keterpaparan fiksi dan narrative empathy secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap empati pada pembaca fiksi sebesar 26,1%

    Novel Hybrid Orthogonal Large Set Code Sequence for High Density Wireless Networks

    CDMA technique has been successfully employed to implement high capacity mobile networks with optimum channel bandwidth utilization. The two most coveted criteria for the spreading codes used in such network are, the number of codes in the set and the code orthogonality, in order to ensure accommodation of large number of users and as well as minimal interference between the users. Walsh code has proved to be a popular orthogonal code, whereas m-sequence, Gold code and Kasami code have established themselves as popular non-orthogonal binary codes. Small set Orthogonal Kasami code has been proposed and evaluated by researchers for CDMA applications. In this paper the authors report the design of hybrid orthogonal large set (HOLS) code for synchronous CDMA systems. The HOLS code was evaluated in a synchronous CDMA system over different channel conditions. The authors also demonstrate that the BER performance of the HOLS code is comparable to that of the existing orthogonal codes, but outperforms Gold and large set Kasami code sequences. The HOLS code sequence is also shown to outperform the existing code sequences in the number of cells it can support. In terms of multiple access interference (MAI), the cross-correlation function (CCF) of the HOLS code sequence is comparable to that of Walsh and orthogonal small set Kasami codes, and much better than those of Gold and large set Kasami code sequences. HOLS code sequence has comparable auto-correlation function (ACF) with that of Gold, large set Kasami and orthogonal small set Kasami code sequences and a much better ACF than that of Walsh code sequence

    The expansion of EU to the east is making positive contributions to the development of the world economy and facilitating the movement of goods, capital and labor. In particular, the capitals from industrialized countries are pouring into Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), an emerging marked. Meanwhile, Japanese direct investment to CEE is also increasing rapidly. This article is to clarify the following questions concerning the trasuplant of Japanese production system (JPS) towards CEE. Is it possible for Japanese multinationals to introduce JPS into transitional economies in CEE? How viable is the JPS being beleaguered by the European multinationals? In what way would the Japanese firms operating in the countries influence the formation of the local systems?     An inspection of data on magistrates and justices of the peace revealed that in many states the statutes do not require law degrees for the positions. A survey of a randomly selected sample of magistrates in one midwestern state found support for the claim that a law degree was not a pre-requisite for a magistrate\u27s position. The author argues that social workers have the education and skills for magistrate and justice of the peace positions and proposes them as areas of employment
