The article presents the possibilities of using the techniques of synestics in the process of teaching how to interpret poetry. The author of the article uses exercises and techniques of synestics in two functions: educational and didactic. She creates situation in which students have not read the text they were asked to read and explains how exercises can lead to developing selfawareness that encourages reading. A lesson that leads to interpreting Anna Świrszczyńska’s poem Budowałam barykadę [I Built a Barricade] motivates reading Adam Mickiewicz’s Reduta Ordona [Ordon’s Redoubt]. The author describes a process of presenting poetic texts to the lower secondary school student in a way that makes him realize important existential problems undertaken by the poetry. The article presents the possibilities of using the techniques of synestics in the process of teaching how to interpret poetry.

The author develops the claim concerning the idea of conducting lectures in foreign languages, which is not concomitant with practical language courses. The author has based her suggestions on her experiences concerning the implementation of classes run in foreign languages at her mother faculty, as well as on extending that idea to other university faculties, due to her role as Dean’s Proxy for International Relations, and Rector’s Proxy for Education in foreign languages. The first part of the paper deals with reasons for implementing foreign languages as languages of tuition that would concern particular subjects. Subsequent parts discuss legal regulations for such enterprise. The last part is of practical nature, for it presents ways and procedures regulating the implementation of education in foreign languages at university

The analysis of Reservoar Porosity Calculation based on Well Log in Bintuni Basin Area

    No full text
The  Bintuni Basin is one of several  oil and gas producing basin in Eastern Indonesia.  This basin has one of the hydrocarbon-producing reservoir in the Kais Formation. The carbonate reservoir in Kais Formation is Middle to Upper Miocene age. The understanding of reservoirs is important for further field development. Petrophysical analysis is a method for understanding reservoirs especially  porosity parameter and estimation of hydrocarbon reserve. The data used in study is  well data including, mudlog report, well report, Gamma Ray (GR), Sonic, Resistivity (ILD, ILS, MSFL), density (RHOB) and NPHI logs. The aim study is to analyze the reservoir using Gamma Ray log and porosity calculation using Sonic, RHOB and NPHI logs. The study method includes regional geological literature review, marker analysis, Gamma Ray picking, and reservoir porosity calculations. According to Gamma Ray picking analysis, the Kais Formation GR has values of  GRsand = 25 API and values of GRshale = 80 API. The Low Gamma Ray  below 60 API is interpretated as carbonate reservoir. For porosity validation, the porosity of routine core analysis (RCAL) data is plotted into porosity logs (porosity calculation using Sonic, RHOB and NPHI logs). Based on the porosity calculation using three porosity logs(Sonic, Density, NPHI Logs), the porosity estimated from density log is more match with the porosity of routine core analysis (RCAL) data. According to porosity calculation at WTU Well, the porosity from log density in the Kais Formation has value from 2% - 25%. The porosity in Carbonate  has large value  as a result of secondary porosity.©2022 JNSMR UIN Walisongo. All rights reserved.</jats:p

    No full text
This article studies the transformation of economic theology indicated by the present of financial service access provided by the government to the lower-class society, particularly those living around pesantren. They so far find difficulty in accessing financial service as they are faced with the requirement of collateral and high interest rate. Responding to such condition, Indonesian government develops micro-sharia financial institution called pesantren-based Bank Wakaf Mikro (BWM). This institution has developed and reached many lower-class people with affordable loan scheme in the last five years. Uniquely, this institution not only provides financial loan but also contains theological and Islamic economic education dimensions through weekly halaqah (study circle) activity. This halaqah becomes a place where the customers of BWM attend pengajian (communal Quran study) held by BWM and perform dhikr (remembering Allah by saying laa ilaha illaallah). Through observation and interview, the author studied the vision of pesantren-based BWM founder, strategy and activities conducted and economic theological transformation in the frame of lower-class community empowerment. This research contributes to encouraging the solidarity-based economic activities in the context of Islamic economic theology
