STUDENTS' MATHEMATICAL LITERACY IN SOLVING PROBLEMS SYSTEM OF EQUATION OF THREE VARIABLES
The main focus in this study aims to analyze the mathematical literacy skills of students at senior high school in solving problems involving the system of linear equations of three variables. The researcher took a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were 34 students from class X8. Problem sheets and interviews were the main data collection methods in this study. Researchers reduced data, presented data, and drew conclusions to handle data using a triangulation approach. The indicators of mathematical literacy skills studied were 1) Communication; 2) Mathematization; 3) Strategies in problem solving; 4) Use of language and symbolic operations; formal and technical; 5) Reasoning and argumentation skills. The findings of this study revealed that only one indicator, the communication indicator, was mastered by students in the low mathematical literacy category. Three indicators, namely communication indicators, problem solving techniques and mathematical communication indicators, can be mastered by students with medium mathematical literacy. Students with high mathematical literacy were able to understand and use each sign correctly. Students at SMA Negeri 1 Slogohimo have an average percentage of low mathematical literacy ability of 21%, medium mathematical literacy ability of 18%, and high mathematical literacy ability of 61
EKSPERIMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) DENGAN TEKNIK MAKE A MATCH DAN TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUALIZATION (TAI) TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA PADA POKOK BAHASAN GARIS DAN SUDUT DITINJAU DARI SIKAP KREATIF SISWA KELAS VII SMP DI KABUPATEN SUKOHARJO TAHUN PELAJARAN 2016/2017
ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) Model pembelajaran yang memberikan prestasi siswa menjadi lebih baik antara Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Make a Match, Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), dan langsung; 2) Kategori sikap kretif yang memberikan prestasi siswa menjadi lebih baik antara sikap kreatif tinggi, sikap kreatif sedang, dan sikap kreatif rendah; 3) Pada masing-masing tipe model pembelajaran, manakah yang mempunyai prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik antara siswa yang mempunyai sikap kreatif tinggi, sedang atau rendah; 4) Pada masing-masing kategori sikap kreatif siswa, manakah yang memberikan prestasi belajar matematika yang lebih baik, siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Make a Match, Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), atau model pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental research dengan ukuran 3x3. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMP di kabupaten Sukoharjo. Terpilih 3 sekolah sebagai sampel melalui stratified cluster random sampling dengan jumlah siswa dari ketiga sekolah tersebut adalah 228 siswa. Pada penelitian ini kelas yang dikenai model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Make a Match sebagai kelas eksperimen pertama, kelas yang dikenai model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) sebagai kelas eksperimen kedua, dan kelas yang dikenai model pembelajaran langsung sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes untuk mendapat data prestasi belajar dan angket untuk mendapat data sikap kreatif. Uji hipotesis menggunakan data prestasi belajar dan dianalisis dengan anava. Sebagai persyaratannya, data harus telah dinyatakan normal dan homogen. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Make a Match dan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) memberikan efek yang sama terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa, dan memberikan efek yang lebih baik terhadap prestasi belajar siswa daripada model pembelajaran langsung; 2) Siswa dengan tingkat sikap kreatif tinggi mempunyai prestasi belajar yang lebih tinggi dari siswa dengan sikap kreatif sedang dan rendah, siswa dengan tingkat sikap kreatif sedang mempunyai prestasi belajar yang sama dengan siswa dengan sikap kreatif rendah; 3) Siswa dengan sikap kreatif tinggi, sedang maupun rendah, model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Make a Match dan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) menghasilkan prestasi belajar lebih baik dibandingkan model pembelajaran langsung, serta model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Make a Match menghasilkan prestasi belajar sama baiknya dengan pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization (TAI); 4) Siswa pada model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dengan Make a Match, Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) dan pembelajaran langsung, siswa dengan sikap kreatif tinggi menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan sikap kreatif sedang dan rendah, serta sikap kreatif sedang menghasilkan prestasi belajar sama baiknya dibandingkan dengan sikap kreatif rendah. Analysis of Student Errors in Solving Matrix Problems in Class XI of SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu
This study sought to describe mistakes made by SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu's grade XI students with high, medium, and low abilities when solving matrix problems. It also sought to describe mistakes made by SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu's grade XI students with concepts, principles, and procedures. This exploration is an engaging subjective examination. The instrument utilized a composed test that included two things, four framework material test questions and meetings were utilized as extra instruments. 14 XI students who had studied matrix material served as the study's subjects. By gathering information from giving composed test questions, understudy mistakes can be distinguished. According to the findings of this study, students of high ability understood the concepts and principles, but performed mathematical operations incorrectly; students of medium ability made procedural errors due to a lack of accuracy in matrix multiplication calculations; and students of low ability made numerous concept, principle, and procedure errors

It is hoped that teachers will not only be able to understand, but teachers are also expected to be able to analyze Numeracy AKM questions first. This community service activity aims to increase the understanding of contex of Numeracy AKM for teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura Middle School. The methods used in this activity are the speaker give explanation about numeracy AKM, discussion and also training methods. The results obtained from this service activity are that 75% of the teachers understand context of numeracy AKM
Workshop Pengembangan Modul Pecahan Senilai Berbasis Matematika Realistik Berorientasi HOTS bagi Guru SD
Elementary mathematics learning with an independent curriculum can be carried out well if the learning plan has been prepared well. This means that teachers must be able to organize teaching modules well. This service activity aims to improve the abilities of Madrasah 'Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) teachers in Kartasura sub-district regarding the development of realistic mathematics-based teaching modules oriented to High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The activity was carried out at Madrasah 'Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) Gonilan. This activity in the form of a workshop was attended by 12 participant that is MIM teachers from Kartasura District. This activity is carried out using lecture methods and also exercises. Based on the results of the final questionnaire of the activity, it can be seen that there was a slight increase in the knowledge of the teachers regarding teaching module material, realistic mathematics, and HOTS
Mathematical Representation Ability-Based Mathematical Contextual Problems of Sequences and Progression Material
This research objective is to analyze and explain the student’s capacity for mathematical representation based on mathematical contextual problems of arithmetic and geometric sequences and progression material. Students enrolled in SMA 1 Sukoharjo X.E10 were the subject of this research. The data collection process used interviews, tests, and documentation. This research used a descriptive research approach with a qualitative research type. Based on the findings of this research, students who have visual representation skills in mathematics are more likely to complete challenges that involve visuals, such as diagrams. Typically, mathematically symbolic representation-capable pupils utilize mathematical formulas and symbols to solve problems. Furthermore, students who have the ability to verbally represent mathematics have a tendency to encrypt problem-solving steps into words

Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Matematika Berorientasi Pisa Konten Space And Shape Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama
The demand as a student is to be fluent of various abilities, one of which is the creative thinking ability. Creative thinking ability is a person's ability to create new ideas or ideas that are different, unique, and fresh and find their own way of solving problems. This study aims to determine the creative thinking ability of junior high school students in solving PISA-oriented math problems with space and shape content. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were six grade IX students at Muhammadiyah Junior High School, Surakarta Special Program. Data collection techniques using tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students with low creative thinking ability did not do well in all indicators of creative thinking. While students with moderate creative thinking ability are good in indicators of creative thinking fluency and originality but are not good at indicators of flexibility and elaboration. Students with high creative thinking ability are good at all indicators of creative thinking
LEVEL KEMAMPUAN LITERASI MATEMATIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL PISA DITINJAU DARI KECERDASAN LOGIS-MATEMATIS
Literasi matematika digambarkan oleh PISA sebagai kapasitas seseorang untuk merumuskan, menerapkan, dan menginterpretasikan matematika dalam berbagai situasi. Indonesia menduduki peringkat 61 dari negara-negara yang berpartisipasi dalam jajak pendapat pada tahun 2015, sedangkan pada tahun 2018 menduduki peringkat 70. Literasi matematika dan kecerdasan logis matematis saling berkaitan, siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan logis matematis akan mampu memahami masalah, memeriksa perhitungan, dan menggunakan penalaran dan abstraksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa dalam hal tingkat kecerdasan logis matematis saat mereka menjawab soal PISA. Sebanyak 31 siswa dari kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Ngemplak menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini, yang menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif. Seluruh data penelitian berasal dari wawancara siswa dan hasil tes kecerdasan logis matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, siswa dengan tingkat kecerdasan logis matematis tinggi mampu memenuhi persyaratan literasi matematis pada level 1 sampai 5, namun pada level 5 subjek masih mampu merumuskan dan mendeskripsikan hasil pekerjaannya, meskipun hasil akhirnya tidak tepat. Siswa dengan tingkat kecerdasan logis matematis sedang dan rendah mampu memenuhi indikator literasi matematis pada level 1 dan 3. Sedangkan pada level 2, 4 keduanya mampu memenuhi sebagian indikator literasi matematis serta pada level 5, dan 6 keduanya tidak mampu memenuhi seluruh indikator literasi matematis
Students' errors in solving HOTS mathematics problems based on newman's theory in view of learning independence
Mathematics plays a crucial role in developing students' cognitive skills, particularly at the junior high school level. One type of question commonly used in assessments is the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) question, which requires students to think critically, creatively, and analytically. However, many students still struggle with solving HOTS questions, often due to insufficient understanding of basic concepts, difficulties in applying those concepts, and low levels of self-directed learning. This study aims to provide an overview of student errors in solving HOTS problems based on Newman Theory in terms of learning independence. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach that worked on HOTS questions. Data were collected through tests, interviews, and self-directed learning questionnaires. The findings indicate that students' errors are largely related to challenges in concept mastery (K1), problem-solving strategies (K2), and a lack of independence in learning. Moreover, students with higher levels of self-directed learning performed better in solving HOTS questions. Based on these findings, it is recommended that educators implement teaching strategies that enhance students' self-directed learning, such as problem-solving activities and regular HOTS practice, to reduce errors in solving questions that require higher-level cognitive skills
