Quenched-in Stresses In Amorphous Ribbons
No full textA set of four samples of the composition Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 produced with different quenching rates was investigated in the amorphous state. In addition to disaccommodation experiments, the stress dependences of the coercivity and of the pinning field were also determined. The stress dependence of the coercivity was fitted using a pinning model. Initial Magnetic Permeability During The Development Of The Nanocrystalline State In Amorphous Ribbons
No full textLow-field initial permeability (μi) has been measured at several steps of nanocrystallization in four amorphous Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 ribbons produced by planar flow casting with different quenching rates (QRs) from the melt. It is observed that the increase in μi upon nanocrystallization is strongly influenced by the initial free-volume content of each sample. Samples produced with higher quenching rates exhibit a faster transformation kinetics and stronger enhancement of the initial permeability in the nanocrystalline state. Conventional heat treatments and accumulative annealings were performed on all the ribbons, in order to study the effect of their inhomogeneities and induced anisotropies. © 1994.1331-3255258Yoshizawa, Oguma, Yamauchi, (1988) J. Get PDFO presente artigo pretende descrever e analisar a experiência do processo criativo através do Método Bailarino-Pesquisador-Intérprete (BPI) a partir da criação da obra cênica Sertões de Dentro, dirigida pela Profa. Dra. Larissa Turtelli e contando, também, com a participação da Profa. Dra. Graziela Rodrigues, como assessora artística, e da doutoranda Elisa Costa, como assistente de direção. Essa pesquisa esteve vinculada ao projeto de Iniciação Científica "Co-habitando com o Catimbozeiro/Juremeiro: uma experiência a partir do Método Bailarino-Pesquisador-Intérprete", com bolsa FAPESP. Nesse percurso destacam-se as pesquisas de campo em terreiros de Catimbó, onde foi possível observar o corpo do juremeiro em ação no ritual mágico-religioso, o surgimento da personagem Salomé, advinda do entrecruzamento entre os conteúdos internos da intérprete e o contato com o outro em campo, e a concepção e apresentação do espetáculo Sertões de Dentro, onde um roteiro de sensações, sentimentos e movimentos foi elaborado com a participação intensa de toda a equipe de direção

No full textIn order to study the effect of the initial degree of topological disorder on the formation of the nanocrystalline state, two amorphous ribbons of composition Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 produced in different laboratories were investigated. Measurements of hysteresis loops, disaccommodation and magnetostriction were performed on as-cast and nanocrystalline samples. An analytically solvable model describing the stress dependence of the coecivity is discussed. Two types of analysis of the approach to saturation are used to estimate the distribution function of the magnetization vectors. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Coercivity And Disaccommodation On Amorphous (fe1-xrx)80b20
No full textAmorphous ribbons of the composition (Fe1-xRx)80B20 (R = Y, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Ho, Er, Tm, Lu) (0{precedes above single-line equals sign}x{precedes above single-line equals sign}0.08) were studied by means of disaccommodation measurements, pinning field and coercivity measurements. The after-effect scales roughly with the square of the magnetostriction constant. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
