Palmetto's Warren Tresca Civic Center
The Warren Tresca Civic Center opened in 1954. The building, which cost $65000, was named for the mayor of Palmetto, Warren Tresca, who championed for its construction. It was home to City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, and until 1963, the Post Office. In 1963, it underwent renovation to incoporate the former post office space as city offices. Today it still serves as the City Hall for Palmetto, located at 516 8th Ave W. in Palmetto
