Transferência de Conhecimento para o Setor Produtivo em Escala Regional: o Caso da FURB
Desde que, no século XII, surgiram as primeiras Universidades , estas assumiram e refletiram peculiaridades do contexto social, econômico e político no qual estavam inseridas.
Evaluation of a Fractional Theis Equation
ABSTRACTThe Theis solution is the most widely used solution for determination of confined aquifer parameters. Because each aquifer is a unique system, sometimes an aquifer cannot accurately be described with the assumptions of the Theis solution. To offer a more general solution for aquifers where piezometric head at a given position is governed in a non- local manner, a generalized groundwater flow equation was developed by Cloot and Botha (2006). This thesis analyzes the flow equation, based on non- integer order derivatives and its numerical implementation developed by Cloot and Botha. However, their equation was found faulty and a new robust derivation of a fractional Theis solution developed by Baeumer et al. (2009) is presented. The new fractional Theis equation solution type curves (drawdown and radius of influence) are evaluated for relationships between aquifer properties and a fractional Theis solution. The fractional Theis solution is then used to reanalyze the aquifer test data used by Cloot and Botha (2006) in their analysis. Conclusions are made on the necessity of using a fractional Theis equation for the given data and suggestions are made for future work with a fractional Theis solution

Application and Use of Multivariate Control Charts In a BTA Deep Hole Drilling Process
Deep hole drilling methods are used for producing holes with a high length-to-diameter ratio, good surface finish and straightness. The process is subject to dynamic disturbances usually classified as either chatter vibration or spiralling. In this paper, we will focus on the application and use of multivariate control charts to monitor the process in order to detect chatter vibrations. The results showed that chatter is detected and some alarm signals occurs at time points which can be connected to physical changes of the process. --

Bayesian fuzzy clustering of colored graphs.
With the increasing availability of interaction data stemming form fields as diverse as systems biology, telecommunication or social sciences, the task of mining and understanding the underlying graph structures becomes more and more important. Here we focus on data with different types of nodes; we subsume this meta information in the color of a node. An important first step is the unsupervised clustering of nodes into communities, which are of the same color and highly connected within but sparsely connected to the rest of the graph. Recently we have proposed a fuzzy extension of this clustering concept, which allows a node to have membership in multiple clusters. The resulting gradient descent algorithm shared many similarities with the multiplicative update rules from nonnegative matrix factorization. Two issues left open were the determination of the number of clusters of each color, as well as the non-defined integration of additional prior information. In this contribution we resolve these issues by reinterpreting the factorization in a Bayesian framework, which allows the ready inclusion of priors. We integrate automatic relevance determination to automatically estimate group sizes. We derive a maximum-a-posteriori estimator, and illustrate the feasibility of the approach on a toy as well as a protein-complex hypergraph, where the resulting fuzzy clusters show significant enrichment of distinct gene ontology categories
Exploring Fast Modelling Approaches for Groundwater Well Drawdown
reservedGroundwater modelling plays a crucial role in managing water resources, especially in areas dependent on wells for water supply. This thesis focuses on groundwater modelling for well drawdown using analytical approaches, specifically Theis solution with boundary conditions, and machine learning techniques, employing MLPregressor in Python.
The main objective of the research is to determine the drawdown of an observation well to establish a time frame for optimization aimed at providing assistance to a water supply company, (named Landeswasserversorgung and will be abbreviated by LW) in effectively managing energy prices for the purpose of pumping water from the wells. Initially, assumptions are made for parameters such as pumping rate, time intervals, transmissivity, storativity, radial distance, and distance from the river. However, later obtained information from LW, including the type of well system, locations of wells, and type of aquifer soil, enables refinement of the modelling approach.
The Theis solution model is used to calculate drawdown values for assumed pumping rate values and predict drawdown values for real pumping rate values using an approximation approach. In addition, a machine learning model based on MLPregressor in Python is developed to perform three different cases. The first case is to predict drawdown values for random pumping rate values using Theis solution. The second case is to predict drawdown values for real pumping rate values using Theis solution. The third case is to predict drawdown values for real pumping rate values using both the pumping rate values and drawdown values provided by LW as inputs.
The research findings test the effectiveness of both analytical and machine learning approaches for predicting well drawdown, and contribute to the field of groundwater modelling. Further research can be conducted to refine and validate these models, and explore their applicability in other hydrogeological settings.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to know Theist Representation In Song Lyrics Syair Manunggal Karya Music Group Cupumanik. The research used is constructivist paradigm with qualitative approach. The analysis was assessed using Roland Barthes's semiotics research method. This method emphasizes the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth. Furthermore, the author adds with the findings of meaning that lead to the theis representation contained in the lyrics written by Cupumanik. From the data examined through the semiotics of Barthes, there are several results, namely: the meaning of denotation which shows a belief in godly understanding and believes in the existence of which is represented by the temple of reff on this song. For an analysis of the meaning of connotation, the songwriter wants to make this song a self-reflection for his attempts to climb spirituality and embrace 'Him' which can not be explained by anything by using the sense and awareness that exist in man. In the myth analysis, the myth that built the Myths understood by society and became the concept of society is that believing and believing in the presence of God is a must in life, in order to be grateful for all the favors and creations of God.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
