    Optimalisasi Jadwal Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar di MI NW I Talun Selama Pandemi Covid-19

    The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted many areas of life, including education in Indonesia. After the Indonesian government implemented a lockdown in a few months, now we are in a new normal era where everyone can do any activity based on the covid-19 protocol. In the new normal era, students and teachers are allowed to do teaching and learning activities with an offline system based on the Covid-19 protocol, this makes the schedule ineffective, such as in MI NW 1 Talun. At this school, each class has a schedule to do learning activities three times a week. Based on this, in this study, the authors will offer a schedule formulated based on variables of teachers, students, classes, classrooms, days and times, and covid-19 protocols. This research method is a genetic algorithm that is a method of optimization based on natural selection. The results of this study show that the new schedule is more effective than before and every student or teacher can do teaching and learning activities to the maximum and avoid covid-19

    PERFORMANCE COMPARISON OF SOME TYPES OF WAVELET TRANSFORMS FOR TOURISM DATA PATTERN APPROXIMATION

    Tourism is an economic sector that significantly supports the country's foreign exchange, including in West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB).  Data on tourist visits to an area, including to NTB, is a representation of time series data.  The wavelet method is one of the tools that is quite reliable for modeling time series data.   This study aims to model the number of tourist visits to NTB Province using discrete wavelet transformation decomposition to estimate data.  Several Wavelet functions such as Haar wavelet, Symlet, Coiflet, Daubechies, Best-localized Daubechies, Fejér-Korovkin, and Bi-orthogonal Splines at various orders and levels of decomposition became the basis for simulation in modeling data.  Based on the Root of Mean of Square Error (RMSE) indicator, this study compares the performance of each wavelet function against the modeling performance at various orders and levels of decomposition.  Numerically, for the data on the total number of tourists visiting NTB Province, the best approximation was given by the Fejér-Korovkin wavelet order 4-th (fk4) and the best-localized Daubechies wavelet order 7-th (bl7) at the 2-nd level with an RMSE value of 2.2993 × 10-11.  Partially, the best approximation of the data on the number of foreign tourist visits was given by the Bi-orthogonal Splines wavelet type order 2.6 (bior2.6) at the 2nd decomposition level with an RMSE value of 1.1718 × 10-11 and for the data on domestic tourist visits was given by the Fejér-Korovkin wavelet type order 4-th (fk4) and the best-localized Daubechies wavelet order 7-th (bl7) at the 2nd level with an RMSE value of 1.3352 × 10-11

    Computing The First Zagreb Index, The Wiener Index and The Gutman Index of The Power of Dihedral Group Using Python

    This paper presents a computational study on three classical topological indices—the First Zagreb Index, Wiener Index, and Gutman Index—within the context of power graphs of the dihedral group , where is a positive integer representing half the order of the group. These indices are fundamental in mathematical chemistry and graph theory, serving as quantitative descriptors of graph structure and connectivity. The methodology involves constructing power graphs derived from  and calculating the indices using Python programming, supported by the NetworkX, Matplotlib, and Gradio libraries. Numerical simulations were conducted for varying values of , revealing consistent algebraic patterns and insights into the structural complexity of the corresponding graphs. Additionally, an interactive Python-based interface is developed to facilitate real-time computation and visualization, thus promoting further exploration and application in algebraic graph theory

    The Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation is a nonlinear partial differential equation that has a key role in wave physics and many other disciplines. In this article, we develop numerical solutions of the KdV equation using the finite difference method with the Crank-Nicolson scheme. We explain the basic theory behind the KdV equation and the finite difference method, and outline the implementation of the Crank-Nicolson scheme in this context. We also give an overview of the space and time discretization and initial conditions used in the simulation. The results of these simulations are presented through graphical visualizations, which allow us to understand how the KdV solution evolves over time. Through analysis of the results, we explore the behavior of the solutions and perform comparisons with exact solutions in certain cases. Our conclusion summarizes our findings and discusses the advantages and limitations of the method used. We also provide suggestions for future research in this area.Persamaan Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) adalah persamaan diferensial parsial nonlinear yang memiliki peran kunci dalam fisika gelombang dan banyak disiplin ilmu lainnya. Dalam artikel ini, kami mengembangkan solusi numerik persamaan KdV menggunakan metode beda hingga dengan skema Crank-Nicolson. Kami menjelaskan teori dasar di balik persamaan KdV dan metode beda hingga, serta menguraikan implementasi skema Crank-Nicolson dalam konteks ini. Kami juga memberikan gambaran tentang diskritisasi ruang dan waktu serta kondisi awal yang digunakan dalam simulasi. Hasil dari simulasi ini dipresentasikan melalui visualisasi grafis, yang memungkinkan kita untuk memahami bagaimana solusi KdV berkembang seiring berjalannya waktu. Melalui analisis hasil, kami mengeksplorasi perilaku solusi dan melakukan perbandingan dengan solusi eksak dalam kasus tertentu. Kesimpulan kami merangkum temuan kami dan mendiskusikan keuntungan dan keterbatasan metode yang digunakan. Kami juga memberikan saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya dalam bidang ini.     Merokok merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang menyebabkan masalah kesehatan yang serius bagi masyarakat, karena dapat menyebabkan berbagai penyakit kronis dan ketergantungan. Selain itu, interaksi antara perokok dan non-perokok juga berisiko, karena paparan asap rokok dapat meningkatkan kemungkinan terjadinya penyakit pada individu yang tidak merokok. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, maka perlu adanya pengontrol optimal yang efektif mampu menekan banyaknya perokok konvensional dan perokok elektrik. Metode lagrange digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan kontrol optimal. Edukasi terkait bahaya merokok diberikan kepada individu yang berpotensi merokok, agar mereka tidak menjadi perokok konvensional atau perokok elektrik. Kampanye difokuskan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang manfaat berhenti merokok, dan ditujukan untuk perokok baik konvensional maupun elektrik. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa dengan melakukan kontrol melalui edukasi tentang bahaya merokok pasif dan kampanye berhenti merokok efektif dalam menurunkan jumlah perokok. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode lagrange dapat menjadi pendekatan yang efektif dalam mengendalikan populasi perokok

    Mapping of Flood Prone Areas in West Lombok Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process and Geographic Information System

    The development and management of flood-prone information systems is needed by many parties, especially the public. In this research, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) presents an approach to detecting flood-prone areas by combining it with a Geographic Information System (GIS). AHP analysis is used to determine the weight and value of each assessment criterion, and then the results are integrated into the GIS system to produce a flood forecast map. The results obtained show that mapping of flood-prone zones can be carried out rationally and consistently based on AHP by considering four criteria, namely land use, soil type, slope, and rainfall. The results of the analysis of the zoning map show that the areas with a high level of flood vulnerability are on the north and west sides. The area around the Lembar port has a high level of vulnerability. Eyat Mayang Village also has a high level of vulnerability.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
