PEMIKIRAN TASAWUF FALSAFI AWAL: RABI’AH AL-‘ADAWIYYAH, AL-BUSTAMĪ, DAN AL-HALLAJ
Many researchers believe that the philosophical Sufism tradition in Islam only emerged in the sixth century Hijriah. Is that right? If it is explored in more depth, it will soon be found that this is not quite right because long before that, in the Islamic tradition there were already some thoughts of Sufism that tended to lead to philosophical Sufism. Among the philosophical ideas of Sufism that were born in this early period were mahabbah, Ilahiyyah, fana\u27, ittihad, and Hulul. Therefore, in this paper the author tries to describe the initial philosophical Sufism thought contained in the thoughts of three Sufi figures, namely Rabi\u27ah al-\u27Adawiyyah, alBustami, and al-Hallaj. By presenting the philosophical Sufism thought that exists in their works, this article shows that the philosophical Sufism tradition in Islam has emerged long before the sixth century Hijriah, as is often believed by many circles
Maqasid Al Syari'ah; Cara Islam Menghadapi Pandemi Covid 19
Hundreds of times human life has been visited by epidemics. It is also caused by disease outbreaks that a people have perished and been swallowed up by history. However, the same thing is always repeated, epidemics always come from carelessness caused by human actions themselves. As if not taking the existing lesson, humans naturally have a dichotomous character, apart from having a strong instinct to defend their life, on the other hand, humans have a tendency to do things that lead to their own destruction. Islam as a rational religion is required to provide certainty for problems related to the plague that is shaking the established order of life of Muslims. Islam must be a solution in providing a more definite answer to the direction of Muslim civilization in the covid-19 pandemic season should be built to lead to a new normal era. One answer is to use the perspective of maqasid al-shari'ah in exploring the sources of sharia law to find solutions for Muslims during the Covid-19 pandemic
PERMAINAN BAHASA ATAS TUDUHAN GERAKAN FUNDAMENTALISME ISLAM DALAM POLITIK BARAT
The development of religious fundamentalism is inseparable from the development of political globalization which focuses on the new world order. Fundamentalism is identified with religious movements that oppose all forms of development of modernism both in part and in all aspects. This research reveals how the term 'fundamentalism' is less precise in explaining various criticisms of Islamic thought expressed in political movements against others (West). As a result, the use of the term "fundamentalism" is a labeling imposed on Islamic groups that do not agree with 'westernization' which is often difficult to recognize as 'modernization'.Keywords: Islamic Fundamentalism, Language Game, Politica
Reinterprestasi Hadis Mesoginik Kepemimpinan Wanita Dalam Musnad Ahmad Perspektif Maqasid Al-Shariah
Misogynistic Hadith Reinterpretation of Women's Leadership in Musnad Ahmad Maqasid Al-Shariah PerspectiveThis article aims to reinterpretation the mesoginic hadiths that describe women's leadership in Ahmad's musnad of the maqasid al-shariah perspective. The leadership of Muslim women in the public sphere has indeed experienced a significant development in recent years. But in some Muslim circles, women's leadership in the public sphere is still a taboo and is still clashed with mesoginic hadiths that describe women's leadership. In this study, the method used is a qualitative descriptive method of the library research type. The use of qualitative descriptive methods due to their suitability with the subject matter and focus of the research. The study found: 1) The mesoginic hadith when analyzed using the maqas}id al-shari'ah approach which says that women's leadership in Islam is prohibited, is a partial and textual understanding of hadith. 2) hadith which says women's leadership in Islam is forbidden, in essence indeed in hadith (tahrij hadith) has a continuous continuity of sanad and matan. However, in substance, the hadith requires reinterpretation so that the text and context of the hadith are read and understood wisely by Muslims. The theoretical implication that the author finds is that maqasid al-shari'ah as a science of interpretation, can not only be used to interpret the ahkam verses present in the Qur'an alone, but can also be used to interpret the hadith-hadith ahkam. So the impact is that when Muslims read a hadith they are required to be critical and selective not only in terms of the passage, but also to consider whether the intention of the shari'ah is relevant or not to the context of the time
URGENSI MANAJEMEN PENINGKATAN MUTU BERBASIS SEKOLAH DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM
MBS is born with several different names: school-based governance, school self-management, and even school-based management. These terms do have an understanding with a slightly different emphasis. However, the names have the same spirit, ie the school is expected to become more autonomous in the implementation of school management, especially in the use of 3M its man, money, and material. The main objective is to develop school policy procedures, solve common problems, and utilize all potential individuals who are members of the team. So the school can only print people who are intelligent and emotionally high, but also can prepare the development workers. Therefore the Islamic education institution is very necessary to apply MPMBS to make the school as an integral part of society, it is not a separate institution of society, the right to life and the survival of the school depends on the community, the school is a social institution that serves to serve members of the community in education, school and community progress are mutually exclusive, both need each other.

AL-GHAZÄLI MENDAMAIKAN SYAR'AH DAN TASAWWUF
This article describes al-GhazÄlī’s thoughts about Sufism which became a synthesis of philosophical considered extreme tasawwuf and literal and rigid Islamic jurisprudence. This paper argued that Al-GhazÄlÄ« attempted to mediate the situation of religion among Muslims who messed up because of tasawuf deviating from the principal teachings of Islam and Islamic jurisprudence and being used by the authorities as a measure to punish the Sufis categorically without considering the truth of their teachings. In his IḥyÄ â€˜UlÅ«mudÄ«n, al-GhazÄlÄ« leans to his biggest thoughts about Sunni’s Sufism. It teaches theology such as tawḥīd, makhÄfah, maḥabbah and ma’rifah, from which the concepts of tawbah, á¹£abr, tawakkal, zuḥūd and riá¸a came from. This article found that al-GhazÄlī’s sufism is closer to practical tasawuf , which is built upon the Qur’Än and the ḤadÄ«th. al-GhazÄlÄ« also wrote his personal experience in his masterpiece. Keywords: Tasawuf, Islamic Jurisprudence, al-GhazÄlÄ
Law, Ethics, and Hadith Ahkam: An Analysis of Fatwa MUI in the Perspective of Progressive Interpretation
This article discusses the progressive interpretation of the ahkam hadith in MUI Fatwa Number 83 of 2023 which relates to the law of support for the Palestinian struggle, with an emphasis on its relation to the boycott of products that support Israel. The main focus of this research is an in-depth and critical exploration of the relevance of certain hadiths in the context of the Palestinian struggle, as well as their application to the boycott policy as a form of solidarity action. This article adopts the perspective of Abdullah Saeed's progressive interpretation of listening to the hadiths that were used as the basis for the MUI fatwa. The method used in this article is a qualitative method with a hadith ahkam and an ethical-legal approach. The data collection technique is a literature study in the form of a study of hadith, journal articles, books related to law, ethics, and hadith ahkam regarding fatwas. The results of this study provide deep insights into the relevance of ahkam traditions in supporting the Palestinian cause in the context of boycotts. Progressive thinking on these traditions is integrated with arguments to strengthen boycotts in response to human rights violations and economic policies that support Israeli occupation. The article also discusses the potential impact of the boycott, both from an economic point of view and as a political instrument that can exert international pressure. Thus, this article not only attempts to detail the progressive interpretation of hadith ahkam in MUI Fatwa No. 83 of 2023 but also critically relates it to the boycott strategy, contributing to progressive Islamic literature and Islamic law studies in viewing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
PERANG SALIB DAN DAMPAKNYA PADA DUNIA
This article discusses the other side of the Crusades. The Crusades that occurred thousands of years ago, apart from having the impact of geopolitical changes at that time, turned out to have a significant impact on social, cultural, scientific and economic changes on European Muslims and Christians at that time. The Crusades are the longest and biggest war in the history of world civilization. Efforts to save the territory under the friction of religious doctrine between Islam and Christianity caused huge losses to both of them, both morally and materially. Although there are some advantages from the contact of two different civilizations, the two of them still cannot be avoided.
