(E) Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship
training, competitive advantage, and risk management on the success
of culinary MSMEs in West Jakarta. The study uses a quantitative
approach. To obtain data with non-probability sampling methods and
purposive sampling techniques, by distributing questionnaires using
Google forms, the number of data used is 100. Data processing uses
SmartPLS 4th. The results of the analysis show that entrepreneurship
training, competitive advantage and risk management show a positive
and significant influence on the success of culinary MSMEs in West
Jakarta.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Ruas jalan di persimpangan lampu merah merupakan tempat berhentinya kendaraan berat secara bersamaan. Kendaraan berat tersebut memberi tekanan pada perkerasan khususnya pada saat berhenti dan pada saat mulai bergerak mengakibatkan deformasi. Kerusakan pada jalan tersebut berulang kali diperbaiki namun tetap kembali rusak. Sehingga situasi ini tidak menyelesaikan masalah kerusakan pada jalan itu sendiri. Untuk itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari alternatif penyelesaian guna mengatasi kerusakan jalan berupa deformasi akibat kendaraan berat yang melintas. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil survei lapangan, yaitu dengan melakukan pengukuran geometrik jalan dan survei kendaraan berdasarkan jenis kendaraan yang melintas di ruas jalan. Survei dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, yaitu hari Minggu, Selasa dan Jumat pada tanggal 5, 7, dan 10 Mei 2013. Pengamatan dilakukan tiga kali dalam sehari yaitu Pagi (pukul 06.00 – 08.00 WIB), Siang (pukul 11.30 – 13.30 WIB) dan Sore (pukul 16.00 – 18.00 WIB). Data hasil survei digunakan untuk merancang perkerasan komposit untuk menahan beban kendaraan berat yang melintas di ruas jalan lokasi penelitian. Hasil pengukuran di lapangan diperoleh ukuran geometrik jalan dengan ukuran panjang dan lebar yaitu 72 x 12 m. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh dimensi pelat beton ukuran (3 x 3 m) persegmen dengan jumlah 96 segmen, dan tebal pelat beton masing-masing 20 cm. Tulangan pelat yang digunakan D12 – 150. Kemudian ukuran plat baja lembaran yang dipasang dalam pelat beton adalah ukuran 3048 x 1524 x 8 mm. Penghubung geser yang digunakan D16 dengan panjang 80 mm. Sambungan melintang (dowel) 1000D25 – 300 dengan panjang dowel 350 mm, sambungan memanjang (tie bar) 480D12 – 750 dengan panjang tie bar 600 mm. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa penambahan pelat baja lembaran dapatmengatasi deformasi yang terjadi dan mengatasi geser pons pada pelat beton. use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Get PDFResearch has indicated that co-curriculum activities are important to students in the university. More specifically, studies have been conducted that there is an effect of co-curriculum activities towards development and character building of students. The purpose of this study is to determine the awareness towards participation of co-curriculum activities among UMS students. There are several objectives highlighted as guideline to the study. First is to study the level of awareness on participation in co-curriculum activities among students in UMS. Second is to determine the influence of students' knowledge of co-curriculum activities upon their attitude towards participation in co-curriculum activities. Third is to examine the differences awareness on co-curriculum activities among gender. 100 fulltime students from two schools in UMS have been selected as the respondents to answer the questionnaires that choose according to random sampling. Based on the analysis of the findings, most of the respondents are aware of their participation in co-curriculum activities. In conclusion, the participation in co-curriculum activities among students can benefit them in term of development of soft skill, character building and reshape their decision making
