SOLAR ERUPTION ON 4 JANUARY 2011: CASE STUDY FOR SPACE EARLY WARNING
We perform intuitive analysis for solar eruption on 4 January 2011. Since we do not have magnetic observational data from the eruption, we perform first order calculation and expands it as interplanetary total effect of energy propagation by retro-inspect proximity data supplied from geomagnetic data. The Data suggested that the energy propagation may reach Earth proximity space environment within 48 hours. The work may constitute space early warning for the next solar activity maximum around July 2014.

Activities in Sunspot Group NOAA 9393
Watukosek Aeronautics and Space Observing Site (WKSO, LAPAN), observed sunspot in daily basis since 1987 using a sketch method. Sunspot group NOAA 9393 (or WKSO 0123) have been observed in March to early of April 2001. The region showed a rapid development during its appearance on the solar disk. The magnetic field of this active region evolved from a simple to a complex configuration (sunspot group type F) within a short period (days). WKSO recognized the sunspot group remains as type F (very active) as long as 8 days. Based on GOES data the active region released as much as 56 flares of type C (small), M (moderate) and X (large) to amount of 28, 24 and 3, respectively, during its appearance from 24 March to 4 April 2001. It is found that prior to X-class flare, there was an increase of activity in C and M-class flare. A rapid emergence of the active region may cause instability in magnetic configuration, and therefore released the magnetic energy in the form of solar flares.

Solar Storm Type Classification Using Probabilistic Neural Network compared with the Self-Organizing Map
One of the task of the LAPAN is making observation and forecasting of solar storms disturbance. This disturbances can affect the earths electromagnetic field that disrupt the electronic and navigational equipment on earth. LAPAN wanted a computer application that can automatically classify the type of solar storms, which became part of early warning systems to be created. The classification of the digital images of
solar storm / sunspot is based on Modified - Zurich Sunspot Classification System. Classification method that we use here is the Probabilistic Neural Networks. The result of testing is promising because it has an accuracy of 94 for testing data. The accuracy is better than the accuracy of similar applications weve built with a combination of methods Self-Organizing Map and K-Nearest Neighbor
Reinterpretation of Bambang Sumatri Story in Sujiwo Tejo’s Graphic Novel Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati
This paper aims to analyze the reinterpret the story of Bambang Sumantri in Sujiwo Tejo’s graphic novel Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati. The meaning of heroism in this novel was reexamined through various doubts, unawareness, and wonder of Bambang Sumantri. The data were collected through reading, observing, and taking notes. The data were analyzed with the semiotic method. The interpretation is done by interpreting changes through looking at the relationship between the signifier and the signified within which the implicit, indirect, and uncertain meanings operate, by interpreting the meanings hiddeng behind the words, phrases, and sentences that are called connotative meanings (second layer) by semiotics. The reinterpretation on this graphic novel shows that in addition to Bambang Sumantri depicted as truly heroic, there are many other “hands” who helped him become a figure and hero. The heroism of Bambang Sumantri is not the center of this book. Instead, there are also other figures who made him a hero. Therefore, the author reinterpreted the heroism of Bambang Sumantri from different point of view.This paper aims to analyze the transformation of Bambang Sumatri in Sujiwo Tejo’s graphic novel Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati. The goal of the study is to discuss the reinterpretation of Wayang (shadow puppet) story into the graphic novel. The story of Bambang Sumantri is one of the three epic stories in Serat Tripama (three role models) written by KGPAA Mangkunegara IV (1809-1881). Serat Tripama is tembang (song) Dandanggula which consists of seven stanzas telling about Bambang Sumantri, Kumbakarna, and Adipati Karna’s heroism which serves as role model for every warrior. Sujiwo Tejo transformed the three of the stories into graphic novels in which Bambang Sumantri is the central character of the first book entitled Serat Tripama: Gugur Cinta di Maespati which was first published in February 2016. The story of Maespati Kingdom’s duke becomes the first of three books as per the order of the tembang: the first and the second stanzas narrate the heroism of Bambang BS, the third and the forth tell about Kumbakarna, the fifth and the sixth tell about Adipati Karna, while the last serves as the conclusion. The transformation in this graphic novel shows that Bambang BS is not always depicted as truly heroic, but also shows many other “hands” which made him the figure and hero. Dinamika perubahan parameter fisis di sekitar planet Venus pada waktu diterpa badai magnetik dari Matahari dipelajari dengan menggunakan persamaan diferensial parsial bergantung waktu nonideal dua dimensi. Pemecahan persamaan diferensial MHD bergantung waktu secara numerik dilakukan dengan menentukan lebih dulu komputasi suku-suku nonideal sebagai diffusive step, setelah itu hasilnya dihitung sebagai pemecahan persamaan diferensial MHD ideal sebagai convective step. Kajian Sosiologis terhadap Tema Lakon ‘Domba-domba Revolusi' Karya Bambang Soelarto
Revolutionary struggle in order to compete for the independence of Indonesia has been a source of inspiration Indonesian artists, including Bambang Soelarto who wrote drama Domba-domba Re- volusi (DDR). DDR studied drama is quite interesting because it tries to criticize the freedom fight- ers. This study aims to: first to know the theme and the problem plays DDR; second to determine the relationship of the socio - historical struggle in 1948 with the sociological elements of drama DDR themes and issues. This study uses sociological theory of art. The basic principles of the sociology of art is the fact that the creation of works of art influenced by the historical social conditions where the work was created. Research using content analysis of Krippendorf, the methods used to examine the symbolic phenomena with the aim to explore and express the observed phenomenon which is the content, meaning, and an essential element of the literary work. Based results of this research is that Bambang Soelarto as the author tries to capture di?erence between fighters during the struggle for the political aspirations for 1948 are expressed in a work of drama. Historical events inspired the creation of drama DDR. Klasifikasi Otomatis Kelompok Bintik Matahari Untuk Menganalisa Kondisi Cuaca Antariksa
Pada penelitian yang bekerja sama dengan LAPAN (Lembaga Penerbangan dan Antariksa Nasional) ini, akan dilakukan pengembangan sistem untuk melakukan klasifikasi otomatis terhadap kelompok bintik matahari yang muncul. Sistem ini nantinya dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk menganalisa kondisi cuaca antariksa dan memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama tiga tahun dimana pada tahun kedua ada dua tujuan penelitian. Tujuan pertama menguji sub-sistem ekstraksi fitur serta database penyimpan fitur. Tujuan berikutnya adalah menbangun tiga sub-sistem klasifikasi dengan metode jaringan saraf tiruan yang akan dibandingkan akurasinya. Analisis Terjadinya Flare Berdasarkan Pergeseran Sudut Rotasi Group Sunspot pada Bulan Januari – Maret 2015 Melalui LAPAN Watukosek
A research to determine the solar activity in the months from January to March 2015, and analyze the characteristics of flare on the rotation angle shifting of the sunspot group of sunspot sample observed, has been conducted. The method was observation and descriptive analysis of quantitative data. Determination of coordinates of sunspot was done using the software IDL. These observations were made in the Aerospace Observation Center (BPD) LAPAN Watukosek. Data were analyzed in the form of a sketch-owned BPD Sunspot LAPAN Watukosek, ie sunspot sketch of months from January to March in 2015 and the data was taken from NOAA. The results showed that the flare is not always the case in large class of sunspot groups, however, the small class was able to produce a flare. Most flares ware occur after experiencing a shift angle in the preceding or following although with angles that were not too large (<10°). The highest solar activity was occurred in January 2015 with the appearance of a sunspot group consisting of as many as 130 in 1063 sunspots. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.17977/um024v1i12016p01
