WHAT PUSHKIN DID (NOT) WRITE ABOUT IN «BORIS GODUNOV»
The article offers a particular interpretation of Pushkin’s «true romanticism». The author argues with the realistic interpretation of the tragedy «Boris Godunov», shares the opinion on Pushkin’s method as a «transcendental realism» (V. Kotelnikov) and «prophetic realism» (B. Gasparov). As the arguments the author used the Pushkin’s meta-discourse about the tragedy (the letters) and the indication of the literary sources («History of the Russian State» by Karamzin, «Historical chronicles» by Shakespeare). The thesis of the strengthening the mysticism in the world outlook of Pushkin after 1821 is proposed. In the basis of plot matrix the researcher sees the tradition of the Christian mystery. The analysis of Pushkin’s genre nominations of the piece allows us to conclude that in the final versions of the title and subtitle rest the genre canons of the Middle Ages conducted through the educational title summary. The article shows the analysis of the circular composition of 23 scenes of the tragedy, the esoteric meanings of the numerical symbolism are revealed. The power concept is solved through the Orthodox understanding of «God — Monarch — People» triad. The tragic meaning of the work is implemented through the duality of language level. The general conclusion: Pushkin had addressed his work to a narrow circle of initiates who could adequately perceive the hidden spiritual сontent of the play
Boris Ryzhy in Nizhny Novgorod (An Episode from the Last Year of the Poet’s Life)
The article presents an attempt to reconstruct one episode from the biography of the poet Boris Ryzhy in the context of the last year of his life — his only trip to Nizhny Novgorod. It took place in May 2000 (a year before his suicide) and was timed to coincide with the literary festival with the conference “Another Province”. The festival’s objectives included a revision of the state of contemporary literature and the position of authors in Russian regions at the end of the first post-Soviet decade; the issue of creative prospects of a “provincial” writer, resources and limitations imposed on his activities by geographical and socio-cultural remoteness from the capital’s literary process with its infrastructural advantages was problematized. The article shows that the festival’s agenda was relevant for B. Ryzhy in the last year of his life as it concerned the pressing issue of planning for the near future: to stay in Yekaterinburg or to look for an opportunity to move to one of the capitals. The author puts forward a hypothesis that the answer to this question — the decision to stay in his hometown — came to Ryzhy after his trip to Rotterdam (it took place a month after Nizhny Novgorod). To reconstruct the episode, the author collected recollections and photographs of festival participants; clarified the circumstances of the festival, its agents and approximate agenda, as well as details of Ryzhy’s stay in Nizhny Novgorod, including exact addresses in the city he visited (materials for possible literary excursions around the city); identified newspaper and online periodical publications dedicated to the festival; analyzed verbal portraits of Boris Ryzhy in Nizhny Novgorod, compiled by Sergei Kostyrko, Alexey Golitsyn, Kirill Kobrin, Dmitry Zernov, Maria Kuznetsova, as well as Ryzhy’s self-portrait in the setting of the Nizhny Novgorod festival from his prose “Rotterdam Diary”; made conclusions about the poet’s style of creative behavior and his psychological state in 2000
Single Walled Carbon Nanotube Reactor for Redox Transformation of Mercury Dichloride
Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) possessing a confined inner space protected by chemically resistant shells are promising for delivery, storage, and desorption of various compounds, as well as carrying out specific reactions. Here, we show that SWCNTs interact with molten mercury dichloride (HgCl2) and guide its transformation into dimercury dichloride (Hg2Cl2) in the cavity. The chemical state of host SWCNTs remains almost unchanged except for a small p-doping from the guest Hg2Cl2 nanocrystals. The density functional theory calculations reveal that the encapsulated HgCl2 molecules become negatively charged and start interacting via chlorine bridges when local concentration increases. This reduces the bonding strength in HgCl2, which facilitates removal of chlorine, finally leading to formation of Hg2Cl2 species. The present work demonstrates that SWCNTs not only serve as a template for growing nanocrystals but also behave as an electron-transfer catalyst in the spatially confined redox reaction by donation of electron density for temporary use by the guests

ACTIVATION OF SPECTATOR
Boris Jedinák’s bachelor thesis deals with the tendency of an activation of spectator through analysis of performances realized during 60´ in USA (by The Performance Group and The Living Theatre), the performance by Augusto Boal which implies methods of the Forum theatre, and through contemporary Czech performances (YOU ARE HERE by Petra Tejnorová, Busking un/limited by Linda Straub and Pomezí by Lukáš Brychta). Author reflects his own projects realized during his bachelor study on KALD DAMU where spectators were supposed to accept an active role during the process of reception of a theatre piece
Korelace imunohistochemických a molekulárně biologických metod v diagnostice nádorů
This thesis is a collection of commentaries on altogether 13 first-authored and 20 co- authored publications where morphology, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and molecular genetic methods were used to provide novel clues for arriving at an accurate diagnosis of tumors, as well as to propose novel approaches and refinement of classification of certain tumors. The presented manuscripts are the result of the postgraduate studies of MUDr. Michael Michal at the Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen in the period between 2015-2018. The author focused the main part of his research, particularly his first-authored manuscripts, on soft tissue tumors but also largely participated in research activities focusing on other body systems. Over the course of his studies, four main areas of interests within the topic of soft tissue pathology emerged. The first is oriented on soft tissue tumors of presumed (but unconfirmed) fibroblastic lineage. First two publications regard two related low-grade sarcomas called Myxoinflammatory fibroblastic sarcoma (MIFS) and Pleomorphic hyalinizing angiectatic tumor (PHAT). In the first manuscript, a high-grade variant of the former is described. The latter publication is focused on the morphological and IHC similarities between both MIFS and PHAT. Piano Concerto in G major Maurice Ravel's
Abstract
This thesis deals with Maurice Ravel's Concerto for piano and Orchestra in G major. At first, it makes readers acquainted with important matters in author?s life and then it presents a genesis of the work and its first reception. Overview of the main inspiration sources, which are reflected in Concerto in G major follows. On basis of the analysis of harmony, musical form, piano stylization and comments of the first interpreter of the work, Marguerite Long, are formulated conclusions, important for acquirement of appropriate viewpoints for the proper interpretation. These attitudes are confronted with top performances of this composition, first by Marguerite Long and than by renowned pianists from different countries (Leonard Bernstein, Boris Krajný and Hélène Grimaud). Supplement of this thesis is a CD, which documents a few examples of the basque music, which was one of the main inspiration sources of the Concerto in G major and contents recordings of this piece of all above-mentioned pianists
