Prevalence of Pre-Diabetic State among Medical Students of Muhammad Medical College
Introduction: Diabetes is one of the most prevalent disease in Pakistan. Pre-Diabetes is the predisposition to diabetes. This study was conducted to identify the high-risk pre-diabetes individuals and the associated risk factors.
Methodology: A cross section al, descriptive study was conducted among medical students of Muhammad Medical College, Mirpurkhas. Total 100 were identified by using convenience sampling technique, after taking informed consent. WHO recommended procedure Oral Glucose tolerance test were performed and a face to face interview was conducted to collect information to identify associated risk factor by using closed ended pre- tested questionnaire. Data was entered and analyzed by using SPSS version 16.
Result: In total study sample of 100 patients; common age group was 20-22 years (n=49, 49%) and majority were male (n=56, 56%). Family history was present in 64% of study sample. Although all participants were disease free, results of oral glucose tolerance test showed that12% were at pre-diabetic state (FBS>110 &RBS>140). Among these 12 participants, 5(41.7%) were overweight, 4(33.3%) were obese, while 3(25%) were having normal BMI. Among this cohort of prediabetic, 75% have positive family history of diabetes, 50% spend 2-5 hour free with no physical activities, 90.9% take junk food, 91.7% take stress about their family/study and 50% have family history of obesity.
Conclusion: Results of current study showed 12% prevalence of pre-diabetic among medical students. The family history of diabetes, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, stress and use of junk foods are associated risk factors. As a preventive measure, health education should be given to all medical students particularly high-risk group.

permanency, family ownership, and firm value: Evidence from emerging economies
Prior research suggests that undertaking corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities affect firm value. We extend this line of research by considering CSR activities over a longer period (a consistent CSR behavior) and examine the impact of CSR permanency on firm value. Using a cross-country sample of 600 top-listed firms from four leading emerging economies, Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC) over the period 2010–2018, we find that CSR permanency positively impacts firm value after controlling for various firm and country characteristics. This effect is observed more pronounced for family-owned firms. Additional analysis reveals that permanent CSR activities in both social and environmental dimensions positively influence firm value, however, CSR permanent activities in the social dimension exert a larger impact on firm value. Our results make important contributions to theory and practice

The Complete Muhammad Ali
Including material and photographs not included in most of the 100 other books about the champion, Ishmael Reed's The Complete Muhammad Ali is more than just a biography-it is a fascinating portrait of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. An honest, balanced portrayal of Ali, the book includes voices that have been omitted from other books. It charts Ali's evolution from Black Nationalism to a universalism, but does not discount the Nation of Islam and Black Nationalism's important influence on his intellectual development. Filipino American author Emil Guillermo speaks about how "The Thrilla' In Manila" brought the Philippines into the 20th century. Fans of Muhammad Ali, boxing fans, and those interested in modern African American history and the Nation of Islam will be fascinated by this biography by an accomplished American author.Intro -- DEDICATION -- INTRODUCTION -- The Curious History of an Icon -- CHAPTER 1 -- CHAPTER 2 -- CHAPTER 3 -- CHAPTER 4 -- CHAPTER 5 -- CHAPTER 6 -- CHAPTER 7 -- Did the Secret Government Fear a U.S. Muslim/Overseas Muslim Alliance? -- CHAPTER 8 -- CHAPTER 9 -- The Break Between the Prophet and his Disciple -- CHAPTER 10 -- CHAPTER 11 -- CHAPTER 12 -- The GOAT (Greatest Of All Time): Ali or Louis? -- CHAPTER 13 -- The Nation of Islam, the Mob, Showdowns in Canada and Sonny Liston -- CHAPTER 14 -- CHAPTER 15 -- The Taunts: Marketing or Racism? -- CHAPTER 16 -- CHAPTER 17 -- CHAPTER 18 -- CHAPTER 19 -- Boxing and the Brain -- CHAPTER 20 -- Ali's Feet -- CHAPTER 21 -- Mr. Dick -- CHAPTER 22 -- CHAPTER 23 -- The Opening Ceremonies, November 2005 -- CHAPTER 24 -- December 2005, Las Vegas -- CHAPTER 25 -- CHAPTER 26 -- June 16, 2004 -- CHAPTER 27 -- CHAPTER 28 -- CHAPTER 29 -- Aix-en-Provence -- CHAPTER 30 -- Ali as a Black Nationalist -- San Francisco, January 2004 Black Liberation Book Fair -- CHAPTER 31 -- January 31, 2004 -- CHAPTER 32 -- October 2005, Chicago -- CHAPTER 33 -- Why Ali remained with Elijah instead of following Malcolm -- CHAPTER 34 -- CHAPTER 35 -- February 4, 2006, Oakland, California -- CHAPTER 36 -- Like Zeus Descending from Mount Olympus -- CHAPTER 37 -- CHAPTER 38 -- Tuesday, February 28, 2006, New York -- CHAPTER 39 -- Bigger Than Boxing -- CHAPTER 40 -- Tribes Gallery, New York, April 2006 -- CHAPTER 41 -- June 2006, Louisville, Kentucky -- CHAPTER 42 -- CHAPTER 43 -- CHAPTER 45 -- Bad Company -- CHAPTER 46 -- Coxson, A Very Charming Rogue -- CHAPTER 47 -- Ali and the largest embezzlement scheme in Wells Fargo history -- CHAPTER 48 -- CHAPTER 49 -- "Lonnie is a stabilizing force."-Harry Belafonte -- October 29, 2006 -- CHAPTER 50 -- Abdul Rahman -- CHAPTER 51 -- CHAPTER 52 -- CHAPTER 53How Will Ali Be Remembered? ETCNN: Extra Tree and Convolutional Neural Network-based Ensemble Model for COVID-19 Tweets Sentiment Classification
Pandemics influence people negatively and people experience fear and disappointment. With the global outspread of COVID-19, the sentiments of the general public are substantially influenced, and analyzing their sentiments could help to devise corresponding policies to alleviate negative sentiments. Often the data collected from social media platforms is unstructured leading to low classification accuracy. This study brings forward an ensemble model where the benefits of handcrafted features and automatic feature extraction are combined by machine learning and deep learning models. Unstructured data is obtained, preprocessed, and annotated using TextBlob and VADER before training machine learning models. Similarly, the efficiency of Word2Vec, TF, and TF-IDF features is also analyzed. Results reveal the better performance of the extra tree classifier when trained with TF-IDF features from TextBlob annotated data. Overall, machine learning models perform better with TF-IDF and TextBlob. The proposed model obtains superior performance using both annotation techniques with 0.97 and 0.95 scores of accuracy using TextBlob and VADER respectively with Word2Vec features. Results reveal that use of machine learning and deep learning models together with a voting criterion tends to yield better results than other machine learning models. Analysis of sentiments indicates that predominantly people possess negative sentiments regarding COVID-19
