Analisis Kadar Steroid pada Buah, Tepung dan Biskuit Labu Siam (Sechium edule)
Steroids are secondary metabolites, steroid compounds can be used as antioxidant and anti-cancer compounds.This study aims to determine the levels of steroids in fruit, flour and chayote biscuits using the maceration extraction method, the determination of levels using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results showed that the steroid levels in each sample were 0.235±0.03 gram/100 g, on chayote flour by 0.435±0.02 gram/100 g, and on chayote biscuits by 0.556±0.04 gram/100 g.Steroid merupakan senyawa metabolit sekunder, senyawa steroid dapat digunakan sebagai senyawa antioksidan dan anti kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar steroid pada buah, tepung dan biskuit labu siam menggunakan metode ekstraksi maserasi, penentuan kadar menggunakan alat spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya kadar steroid pada masing-masing sampel yaitu pada buah labu siam sebesar 0.235±0.03 gram/100 g, pada tepung labu siam sebesar 0.435±0.02 gram/100 g, dan pada biskuit labu siam sebesar 0.556±0.04 gram/100 g
THE RISK FACTOR OF ANEMIA IN PREGNANT WOMEN IN THE CLINIC SINGGANI THE CITY OF PALU
ABSTRACT  The data of WHO (2011), prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the world of 83,2%. He highest prevalence of anemia found in pregnant women in Africa that is 94,2% and 89,5% in Asia, and 30% in Indonesia. Based on data obtained clinic Singgani, the number of pregnant women in 2015 (January-December) there are 70 people were pregnant women suffering anemia. The Purpose of this study to determine risk factor for incidence of anemia in pregnant women in the clinic Singgani the city Palu. This research is a research survey analitic with the mechanism appoarches Case Control Study. The number of samples which is go respondent with the criteria for inclusion of pregnant women with second pregnancy and axamination Hb. The analysis is used in this study is the analysis of a univariate and bivariate with the test Odds Ratio (OR). The result with the Odds Ratio shows that he was not a risk factor of anemia in pregnant women with OR = 1,000 = 1, Parity is the risk of anemia in pregnant women with OR = 1,496 > 1 and the distance of pregnancy is a risk factor of anemia in pregnant women with OR = 7,818 > 1. The conclusion in this study is the age is not a risk factor of anemia in pregnant women while parity and distance pregnancy are a risk factor of anemia in pregnant women in the clinic Singgani the city of Palu. The advice to the clinic Singgani to further improve outreach and more routine as well as active in the axamination of Hb for any pregnant women. Keyword : Age, Parity, Distance Pregnancy, Anemi
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Analisis Kandungan Antioksidan pada Buah, Tepung dan Biskuit Labu Siam (Sechium Edule)
Chayote or Sechium edule is one of Indonesia's plants and is a potential food commodity to be used as the main ingredient for product development, chayote is a plant that lives in tropical and sub-tropical areas. This study aims to determine the antioxidant content of fruit, flour and chayote biscuits using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Analysis of the antioxidant content in this research is using the DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazil) as a source of free radicals. Fruit extract, flour and chayote biscuits were analyzed for their antioxidant content with various concentrations of 20 ppm, 40 ppm, 60 ppm, 80 ppm, 100 ppm. The results obtained that raw chayote fruit extract has a very weak antioxidant content with an average IC50 value of 256,723 ppm, chayote flour has a moderate antioxidant content with an average value of IC50 140,999 and chayote biscuits has a weak antioxidant content with the average value of IC50 is 179.619 ppm.Labu siam atau sechium edule merupakan salah satu tanaman Indonesia dan merupakan komoditi pangan yang potensial untuk dijadikan bahan utama pengembangan produk, labu siam merupakan tanaman yang hidup di daerah tropis maupun sub tropis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Kandungan Antioksidan pada buah, tepung dan biskuit labu siam dengan menggunakan alat spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Analisis kandungan antioksidan pada peneltian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil) sebagai sumber radikal bebas. Ekstrak buah, tepung dan biskuit labu siam dianalisis kandungan antioksidannya dengan variasi konsentrasi 20 ppm, 40 ppm, 60 ppm, 80 ppm, 100 ppm. Hasil penelitian diperoleh ekstrak buah labu siam mentah memiliki kandungan antioksidan yang sangat lemah dengan nilai rata-rata IC50 yaitu 256,723 ppm, tepung labu siam memiliki kandungan antioksidan yang sedang dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu IC50 140,999 dan biscuit labu siam memiliki kandungan antioksidan yang lemah dengan nilai rata-rata IC50 yaitu 179,619 pp
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. ANALISIS KANDUNGAN ALKALOID PADA BISKUIT FORMULASI LABU SIAM (sechium edule Sw.) DAN KACANG HIJAU (Vigna radiata L.)
Chayote (Sechium edule) and mung beans (Vigna radiata) biscuits are healthy snacks that can be used as a highly nutritious substitute. Several studies have shown that chayote (Sechium edule) and mung beans (Vigna radiata) plants contain many secondary metabolites that are beneficial to health, one of which is alkaloids. This study aims to determine the content of alkaloids in chayote (Sechium edule) and mung beans (Vigna radiata) biscuit formulations using a uv-vis spectrophotometer. The extraction method used in this study was maceration with 96% alcohol solvent. The results showed that the average value of the sample with two repetitions of the highest alkaloid content was found in the sample of mung bean flour (Vigna radiata) which was 22,719 mg CE/g and the lowest alkaloid content was found in the chayote (Sechium edule) and mung beans (Vigna radiata) (50:50) of 20,500 mg CE/g. Biskuit formulasi labu siam (Sechium edule) dan kacang hijau (Vigna radiata) merupakan salah satu cemilan sehat yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai makanan pengganti yang bergizi tinggi. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanaman labu siam (Sechium edule) dan kacang hijau (Vigna radiata) banyak mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan, salah satunya yaitu alkaloid. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kandungan alkaloid pada biskuit formulasi labu siam (Sechium edule) dan kacang hijau (Vigna radiata) menggunakan alat spektrofotometer uv-vis. Metode ektraksi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata sampel dengan dua kali pengulangan kadar alkaloid tertinggi terdapat pada sampel tepung kacang hijau (Vigna radiata) yaitu sebesar 22.719 mg CE/g dan kadar alkaloid terendah terdapat pada sampel biskuit formulasi labu siam (Sechium edule) dan kacang hijau (Vigna radiata) (50:50) sebesar 20,500 mg CE/g.
 
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
