The elephants (Loxodonta africana) of Gash-Barka, Eritrea: Part 1. Historical perspective and related findings
No full textThis article reviews the historic range of elephant in Eritrea, as gleaned from archaeological and literary sources, notes taxonomic knowledge, and provides recent field data on the presence and status of elephant in the Gash-Barka area in the south-west. The shrinking habitat in Eritrea is due to both human settlement and lack of water resources. Two recent ground surveys, December 2001 and January-February 2003, implemented by the fourth author, as well as regular low flying United Nations flights between Ethiopia and Eritrea provided invaluable information of Eritrea's southwestern region. The dense riverine forest composed mostly of doum palms makes observation from the air difficult. During the last ground survey (Jan-Feb 2003) 'All 83 elephants, young and adult, observed in various locations within the watersheds of the Gash and Setit Rivers appeared in good physical condition'

a position of the writer with regard to the struggle of the personal and social principles. These are like a one of
the philosophic aspects of struggle of the Good and the Evil. A calling’s influence on the destiny of central heroes of «Тhe Caucasus» is considered. A human is really happy if his calling is’nt vain and mission is realized

Барки. Проаналізовано семантику, дериваційну структуру та особливості
функціонування іменникових авторських неологізмів. Виділено три лексико-семантичні групи іменникових неолексем: назви осіб, іменники з абстрактним
значенням, іменники з конкретно-предметним значенням. Найчисленніші серед них
лексичні інновації з абстрактним значенням. Внаслідок виконаного дослідження встановлено, що іменникові авторські номінації в романі «Рай» переважно мають оцінно-експресивне забарвлення. The article highlights the issues of the individual author's nominations in the novel «Rai» («Paradise») by Vasil Barka. The author analyzes the semantics, derivational structure and peculiar functioning features of authors’ noun-neologisms. The identified author’s neologisms are classified into three main lexico-semantic groups of neolexemes: the names of
persons, nouns with abstract meaning, nouns denoting names of concrete subjects. The largest group of lexical innovations is represented by nouns with an abstract meaning. All the revealed noun neolexemes are created in accordance with the traditional word building patterns. The most productive ways of creating neolexemes in the novel are suffixation and composition. The key findings of the research prove that individual author’s noun-neologisms mainly perform the evaluative and expressive role in the novel «Paradise»

Suggestions for Post-Pandemic Economic Recovery Research Agenda in Islamic Entrepreneurship
No full textIntroduction/Main Objectives: The concept of Islamic entrepreneurship began to develop in line with the development of Islamic economics. This study aims to provide a bibliometric analysis of the scope of Islamic entrepreneurship. Background Problems: The existence of a pandemic has caused entrepreneurs to have to adapt to a volatile, complex, and uncertain business environment. Entrepreneurs also have homework to do, which is related to economic recovery after the pandemic. Novelty: Presenting bibliometric analysis and identifying publication trends in the scope of Islamic entrepreneurship in Scopus indexed journals from 2009 to 2022. Research Methods: This study uses descriptive statistics based on 78 published articles related to Islamic entrepreneurship. The articles used journal articles, conference papers, and book sections indexed by Scopus. Data was collected by Publish or Perish which was then analyzed using VOSviewer and Excel. Finding/Results: The results show the journals that contain the most articles on Islamic entrepreneurship are The International Journal of Business and Globalization. The most cited article is “The context of Islamic entrepreneurship and business: Concepts, principles, and perspectives”. The author who has written the most about Islamic entrepreneurship is Veland Ramadani. In research on Islamic entrepreneurship, the word “entrepreneurship” is the most widely used keyword. Recent research related to Islamic entrepreneurship is related to economic growth, business innovation, SME innovation, knowledge, and socio-cultural. Conclusion: This research helps researchers determine their research position, find potential themes for future research and provide recommendations to policymakers for post-pandemic economic recovery
A Systematic Literature Review on Islamic Expenditures
No full textThe purpose of this study is to identify past research trends on Islamic spending, evaluate research collaborative relationships, and identify future research directions.It uses 14 articles published between 2003-2022 about Islamic Expenditures indexed in Scopus (Q1-Q4) using a qualitative and quantitative approach, the Bibliometric method and Systematic Literature Review (SLR). This study uses VosViewers software and Publish or Perish. It is known that the author who has the most publications on Islamic Expenditure is U.H. Umar. The article with the most citations was the article entitled "A proposed model for waqf financing public goods and mixed public goods in Malaysia". The journal with the largest number of publications is the International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management. The countries that contributed the most to the release were Malaysia, Nigeria and Pakistan. This study makes several contributions, including for future researchers, the research results can be used as a reference to identify influential authors, articles, journals, countries, findings and methods. For researchers, the results of this study can be used as a benchmark and literature necessary for the development of Shariah consumer research and to reassess the gaps in Islamic cost or cost research
