Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

The audience has lost their trust to use the company services due to the crashes incidents that involved the company’s aircrafts. This study is also to find out what kind of approach that will suits to shift the audience’s perceptions towards the company and the outcomes from the study would give the best solution to overcome the negatives perception and to gain back the audience’s trust. Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Kepuasan Masyarakat Pada Kantor Desa Alam Panjang Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar

Kualitas Pelayanan merupakan tingkat keunggulan (excellent) yang diharapkan dan pengendalian atas keunggulan tersebut untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan masyarakat pada Kantor Desa Alam Panjang Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang memiliki kepentingan pada Kantor Desa Alam Panjang dan diambil sampel sebanyak 98 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Regresi Sederhana, uji t, uji koefisien determinasi (R2) dengan menggunakan aplikasi menggunakan Aplikasi SPSS versi 23. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier sederhana diperoleh persamaan regresi Y= 20,326 + 0,430. Nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,430 menyatakan bahwa jika kualitas pelayanan di tingkat 1 satuan, maka nilai kepuasan kerja sebesar 0,430. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 4,462 > ttabel 3,840 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima yang dalam artian secara parsial terdapat pengaruh positif kualitas pelayanan terhadap kepuasan masyarakat pada kantor Desa Alam Panjang Kecamatan Rumbio Jaya Kabupaten Kampar. Berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai R = 0,514 dan nilai R square (R2) sebesar 0,322. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kualitas pelayanan adalah sebesar 32,2% sedangkan sisanya 67,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Sahri Bulan, 2015 Sirawu Sulo tradisi tiga tahunan pada pesta panen Desa Pongka Kecamatan Tellusiattinge Kabupaten Bone. Skripsi pada program Studi Seni Tari Fakultas Seni dan Desain Universitas Negeri Makassar. Peneliti ini bertujuan: 1) untuk mendeskripsikan penentuan waktu pelaksanaan tradisi Sirawu Sulo pada pesta panen Desa Pongka Kecamatan Tellusiattinge Kabupaten Bone. 2) untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk ritual Makkalu’kampong dalam tradisi Sirawu Sulo pada pesta panen Desa Pongka Kecamatan Tellusiattinge Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskritif kualitatif. Objek peneliti adalah Sirawu Sulo tradisi tiga tahunan pada pesta panen Desa Pongka Kecamatan Tellusiattinge Kabupaten Bone. Subjek penelitian adalah H. Nawir selaku tokoh masyarakat Desa Pongka, Male seorang dukun, Kasmir selaku tokoh masyarakat Desa Pongka dan H. Misdar selaku kepala Desa Pongka Kecamatan Tellusiattinge Kabupaten Bone. Cara pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan: Studi Pustaka, Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan display data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penentuan waktu pelaksanaan tradisi Sirawu Sulo pada pesta panen Desa Pongka Kecamatan Tellusiattinge Kabupaten Bone yaitu pertama pemerintah masyarakat Desa Pongka melakukan musyawarah, selanjutnya dilakukan Mattara’esso (Penentuan Hari) dan setelah itu dilakukan pembentukan panitia. Kedua pelaksanaan tradisi Sirawu Sulo, ketiga hari terakhir, (2) bentuk ritual Makkalu’kampong dalam tradisi Sirawu Sulo yaitu pertama, pelaku ritual Makkalu’kampong adalah Sanro, pemain tradisi Sirawu Sulo serta rombongan masyarakat Desa Pongka, kedua sesajen, ketiga iringan, iringan yang digunakan dalam ritual Makkalu’kampong yaitu dua buah gendang, keempat kostum, tempat yang dilakukan ritual Makkalu’kampong yaitu kuburan petta Makkuli Lajangnge, kuburan panglima Mabbaranie, bukit dan pusat tugu Desa Pongka
