Abstract: Application of Analog Electronics Practice Learning Model with STAD Type Cooperative Approach. This study aims to describe student activity and learning outcomeshe analog electronics of the course students practice analog electronics. This type of research is a classroom action research that consists of 2 cycles. Each cycle is carried out through four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were obtained through observation and tests. Data from observation and students analyzed in terms of percentage. Data were analyzed student achievement test based on practice learning criteria. The results showed an increase in the percentage of student activity in the first cycle and second cycle. Student activity increased from 57.6% in the first cycle to 77.6% in the second cycle. Learning results obtained by students has increased. For the average grades of students also increased, namely 66.36 in Cycle I to 78.39 in Cycle II. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the application of the practice learning model can improve student learning outcomes

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis

Entrepreneurship-Based Strategies for Developing Superior Islamic Boarding Schools

This study examines strategies to enhance the excellence of Islamic boarding schools by integrating entrepreneurship within the Islamic Education Foundation. This study focuses on the role of Trubus Business Center (TSB) as the main driver in creating an independent, adaptive, and superior pesantren ecosystem. Using a qualitative approach with case study methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and institutional documentation. The results of the study show that three main strategies are carried out integratively, namely: (1) development planning based on local potential through the optimization of waqf land and productive business units; (2) improving the quality of teachers and education personnel through selective recruitment, continuous professional development, and empowerment in the management of pesantren businesses; and (3) the provision of adequate educational facilities and infrastructure, which is directly supported by the results of pesantren business units. These three strategies not only support the financial sustainability of the institution but also strengthen the academic, spiritual, and character dimensions of students holistically. These findings make a conceptual contribution to the development of a model of superior pesantren based on entrepreneurship and sustainable management that is contextual with local needs

OVERCOMING ADOLESCENT ANXIETY THROUGH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: AN ISLAMIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Adolescence is a developmental stage that is highly vulnerable to anxiety due to academic pressures, social challenges, and identity crises. Conventional approaches to addressing anxiety do not always meet the spiritual needs of adolescents, especially in societies that uphold religious values. This study aims to explore the role of Islamic religious education in helping adolescents manage anxiety. The method employed is a qualitative literature study with a descriptive-reflective approach, focusing on the analysis of religious and spiritual values related to mental health. The findings reveal that Islamic religious education contains values such as tawakkul (trust in God), sabr (patience), shukr (gratitude), dhikr (remembrance of God), and du'a (supplication), which function as emotional coping strategies. These values contribute to building adolescents' mental resilience, calming emotions, and strengthening their sense of meaning and purpose in life. Through a more contextual and practical approach, religious education can serve as an effective alternative intervention to support adolescents’ mental health in a holistic manner
