Get PDFRapid technological advancements have resulted in increasingly competitive market dynamics, thus encouraging companies to adopt the most suitable marketing communication methods to attract customer attention and overcome market hurdles. This research focuses on the marketing communication approach used by PT Sarizal Jaya Abadi, a trading company engaged in export, import, and general trading. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the purpose of this study is to look at the application of the marketing communication mix concept in PT Sarizal Jaya Abadi's marketing communications, as well as assessing the effectiveness of the company's communications in the face of dynamic market challenges and confusing trade industry information. The findings of this study are expected to provide practical advice for PT Sarizal Jaya Abadi to improve its marketing communication strategy, as well as provide an academic addition to the Indonesian marketing management literature, especially in the trading company environment.

Factors Affecting Compliance Nurses in the Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the Inpatient Department of Internal Medicine

ABSTRACT
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a risk control aimed at protecting health workers from workplace accidents and occupational diseases. The use of PPE is a must for nurses when giving intervention to patients who are definitely at risk of disease. Compliance in the use of PPE can be influenced by attitudes, communication and supervision. This study aimed to determine the relationship between attitude, communication and supervision with the compliance of nurses in the use of personal protective equipment in the inpatient unit on internal medicine department of Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The type of this research was descriptive analytic with Cross Sectional Study design. Sample of this research were 72 nurses who executed by using purposive sampling method. The results showed that 54.2% had a positive attitude in the used of PPE, 84.7% had less effective communication in the use of PPE, 55.6% had less supervision in the use of PPE and 59.7% of non-compliant nurses in the used of PPE. The result of analysis by using chi-square test showed that there was no significant correlation between the factors with the compliance of nurses in the used of PPE, where the attitude with p-value compliance was 0.733, communication with p-value compliance 0.774, and supervision with p-value 0.132. Suggestions from this research are; it was necessary to improve the nurse's compliance about the importance of using PPE in accordance with the good and correct SOP by giving motivation in the form of reward to nurses who was adhere to the use of PPE, cultivate reported KTD without penalty and secret, evaluation monitoring, and improvement in application of PPE.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Improved welding refurbishment procedure for superalloys gas turbine using fea with experimental verification / Mohd Sarizal Abu Bakar
No full textThis study presents Finite Element Anaysis application to improve process in Superalloys gas turbine components welding refurbishment. Refurbishment of Superalloys gas turbine components is one of the methods use to reduce cost in operating and prolong gas turbine components life cycle, with welding as one of the major repair technique. Close tolerance requirements in gas turbine components fabrication and refurbishment practice demanded the improvement of welding procedure in order to minimize the problem of distortion. Uncontrolled distortion will lead to parts rejection and reduction in gas turbine efficiency. This work will present methods to obtain optimum welding parameters through simulation by SYSWELD and experimentation. The works presented here are divided into three case studies with final aim to improve repair procedure of Superalloys gas turbine components. Case Study 1 confirmed the suitabilit>- of SYSWELD code using Goldak model to simulate Superalloys material wielding for 3.2mm thickness material. Case Study 2 focuses on finding optimum parameters to perform multipass welding namely interval time and choice of filler material. The fillers used in this study are Inconel 617, Inconel 625, C 263 and Hastelloy X. Base material employed in this study is Inconel 718. It was found that the best filler is Inconel 617 and optimum interval time is 50 seconds. Case Study 3 showed FEA result on multipass welding performed at the tip of gas turbine blade. The result from this case study shows that FEA can be used to analyze repair welding works and subsequently helps to improve repair procedure of Superalloys gas turbine components

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
