This research aims at describing structure and function in Hasehawaka Manu Kakae. Method used in this research was qualitative descriptive by using observation, interview with recording and note technique. The result shows that structure and function in Hasehawaka Manu Kakae consist of diction, line, couplet, voice that consists of rhyme, rhythm an other voice such as euphony and cacophony, and language style. Besides, function found in Hasehawaka Manu Kakae consists of social, educative and cultural functions
Aprendizaje organizacional y el desempeño docente en las Instituciones Educativas Básica regular del Distrito Manu - 2021
No full textLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre el aprendizaje organizacional y el desempeño docente en las Instituciones Educativas Básica regular del Distrito Manu 2021, se trabajó bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo básica, con nivel descriptivo correlacional, no se manipulo ninguna variable, por lo que el diseño es no experimental, de corte transversal, porque se aplicó en un momento de terminado. La población estuvo conformada por 50 docentes y la muestra fue censal; por lo que no se utilizó la técnica de muestreo, estuvo conformada por personal docente de tres colegios del Distrito Manu 2021; y para el análisis de datos se aplicó la prueba no paramétrica Rho de Spearman. Se estableció el coeficiente de correlación estadísticamente significativa entre el aprendizaje organizacional y desempeño docente, siendo el valor Rho de Spearman =0.615, entonces existe una correlación positiva, directa y significativa moderada de acuerdo a la baremación entre las variables, con p valor igual a =0,00(p<0.05).JULIACAEscuela Profesional de AdministraciónTalento Human
Developing Social media marketing in Alma Manu Oy for its potential customers
No full textThe purpose of the thesis was to develop the social media marketing to find the po-tential customers for the Alma Manu which is situated in Pori region. Though the case company is much experienced in the field of its delivery business, but it lacking behind in the field of marketing through social media. The objectives of the thesis were to know the behavior, perception and expectation of the customers of Alma Manu and give the effective suggestion based on it.
The first part of the thesis covers the research process for the thesis followed by the method of research used in it. The research method used in the thesis is qualitative research method for primary as well as secondary data collection which were done by interviewing the manager and supervisor of Alma Manu, supervisor of ISS service company, owners of Mevlana Pizzeria and Yak and Yeti restaurant, front desk of-ficer of Lahitapoila and salesman of DNA.
The second part of the thesis contains the theoretical and the empirical information. The theoretical information was collected from the webpages, reliable books and lit-eratures reviews. The author used many resources for collecting that theoretical in-formation. The theoretical information consists the information related to marketing, marketing strategies, marketing communication, Social media marketing etc. The em-pirical data were collected by interviewing the representatives of Alma Manu as well as its customers. The topics that was discussed in the interview was about the internal and external environment of the case company. the interview done with customers of the case company was mainly focused on the behavior, perception and satisfaction of those customers with the case company. The interviewees also included their expecta-tions and areas of improvements for the case company.
The suggestions and recommendations for the Alma Manu was given based upon the interviews done with its customers and the manager. The suggestions are developed based on the way of doing social media marketing and marketing communication. The author has used his knowledge and research to give the best possible suggestions to the case company However, it is not compulsory for the Alma Manu to follow all the suggestions introduced by the author.

Between the Lines: Pacific Cultural Adoptions in Australia
No full textMany Pacific families involved in the adoption process are torn between established Western legal principles and desiring recognition of Pacific ways of being and practices in the Australian system. Balancing Eurocentric legal systems and Pacific customary practice requires consideration of both mechanisms to navigate the best interests of the child. When Western legal frameworks are imposed upon cultural adoptions, without acknowledgement of context, the best interests of the child can be distorted.
This In Brief examines Samoan and Tongan adoptions from the points of view of the Samoan and Tongan authors. It does not elaborate on the legal aspects but focuses on Pacific worldviews. Cultural adoption remains a common practice within Pacific families in Australia, reflecting enduring kinship-based caregiving traditions. We aim to provide a ‘snapshot’ of the ‘Pacific Cultural Adoptions Expert Report’ (Fainga‘a-Manu Sione et al. 2024), highlighting the importance of having a Pacific perspective that is conscious of custom and customary law. Bird species richness and diversity at montane Important Bird Area (IBA) sites in south-eastern Nigeria
No full textThe mountains of south-eastern Nigeria are a western extension of the Cameroon mountain range, which is classified as an endemic bird area (EBA). Unlike its eastern extension in Cameroon, most of the ornithological surveys in the western extension of the Cameroon highlands in Nigeria have produced only limited checklists and inventories. There is a clear need for quantitative baseline data so that conservation problems can be identified. Twenty line transects covering a total transect length of 28.8 km were used to survey five sites (Afi Mountain Wildlife Sanctuary, Oban and Okwangwo Division of Cross River National Park, Sankwala Mountains and Mbe Mountains) in the westernmost extension of the Cameroon Mountains EBA in south western Nigeria. Vegetation measurements were taken to control for the potential confounding effect of variation in vegetation density and structure on detectability of birds between sites. The 193 bird species recorded in Afi, 158 in Sankwala, 124 in Oban, 100 in Mbe and 73 in Okwangwo Division included most of the Cameroon highlands restricted range species. The results show that the mountains of south-eastern Nigeria are important parts of the Cameroon EBA, particularly the Afi Mountain Wildlife Sanctuary. However these sites are threatened by fire and livestock grazing on the hilltops, shifting agriculture on the hillsides and lowlands, and logging for timber in some parts, as well as wildlife hunting for bush meat.Peer reviewe
Representaciones transtextuales y heterolingües (para la memoria) en la novela Manu militari
No full textEste artículo analiza el relato memorístico en la novela Manu militari (1987), en la que J. A. Arrieta narra las vivencias de una joven generación vasca en su paso del franquismo al post-franquismo. Se describe el desarrollo del campo literario y traductológico vasco entre 1975 y 1990, en cuanto moldea el habitus del autor y se representa ficcionalmente en la novela analizada. Además, se analizan los recursos narrativos empleados para el ejercicio memorístico: la transtextualidad y el heterolingüismo. Se parte de la teoría de los campos de Bourdieu, de la teoría de la transtextualidad de Genette, de las tendencias de investigación del “giro ficcional” en los estudios de traducción y de los planteamientos del imaginario heterolingüe de Suchet.
This paper analyzes how the narrative of Memory appears in the Basque novel Manu militari (Arrieta, 1987), where the story of a young generation in its passing from Franco’s dictatorship to post-Francoism era is told. We describe the evolution-features of the field of Basque literature and translation during 1975-1990, as for it has shaped the habitus of the author and it has been reflected in fiction. We analyze the narrative procedures used to remember the memorial past: the transtextuality and the heterolinguism. The study is based on the Bourdieusian theory of fields, Genette’s theory of transtextuality, research trends in Translation Studies (the fictional turn) and approaches on multilingualism (Suchet’s Heterolinguistic Imaginary)
Análisis del efecto antrópico en la cobertura vegetal, utilizando técnicas de la teledetección, Huepetuhe, Manu, Madre de Dios, 2000-2020
No full textEn esta investigación se realizó el análisis del efecto antrópico de la cobertura
vegetal del distrito de Huepetuhe-Manu-Madre de Dios entre los años 2000 – 2020,
haciendo uso de las técnicas de teledetección. Para el análisis se descargaron 21
imágenes satelitales del Earth Explorer (USGS), el procesamiento de las imágenes
satelitales se realizó en el Software ArcGIS 10.8. Se determinó 5 clases de uso de
suelo siendo: Cobertura Vegetal, Actividad Minera, Actividad Agrícola, Zona
Urbana, Ríos y Lagos. Asimismo, presento una disminución en la cobertura vegetal
de 5.6% entre los años 2000-2000, en la actividad agrícola y minera presentaron un
aumento de 6.68%, 4.40% entre los años 2000-2020, por otra parte, la zona urbana
tuvo un crecimiento de 1.11% entre los 2000-2010, sin embargo, para el año 2016
y 2020 presento una disminución de 2.04%. En el caso de los ríos y lagos entre el
año 2000 y 2020 presento una disminución de 1.11% por la actividad agrícola,
mineras y las zonas urbanas. Se determina que la clasificación supervisada es un
método eficiente que nos ayuda analizar los efectos que pueda estar ocasionando
la pérdida de la cobertura vegetal sin la necesidad de estar presente en el campo

Diversidad de la ornitofauna en nueve cochas del Parque Nacional del Manu-Madre de Dios
No full textEl presente estudio, tiene la finalidad de registrar la composición y estructura de la comunidad de aves en las cochas y el análisis de los índices de diversidad, para determinar la relación entre la diversidad de la ornitofauna y las variables abióticas. El método aplicado fue de conteo por puntos, ubicando los puntos cada 200 m siguiendo el transecto por el medio de la cocha, registrando únicamente los individuos que se encontraban haciendo uso directo del hábitat; a la vez, se realizó la caracterización física de la cocha tomando datos de tamaño, profundidad, visibilidad. Como resultado, se determinó que la población de ornitofauna en las nueve cochas del Parque Nacional del Manu está compuesto por 93 especies, distribuidas en 41 familias, siendo las familias con más registros Ardeidae y Psittacidae, las especies con mayor contribución estructural en las cochas son Opisthocomus hoazin presente en 8 de las 9 cochas y Phalacrocorax brasilianus presente en 6 cochas. El modelo de regresión múltiple determinó que la relación de la diversidad de ornitofauna y las variables abióticas (cochas), un valor de p = 0,335 > 0,05, por lo que se acepta la hipótesis nula, es decir que las variables abióticas no influyen en la diversidad de aves, por lo tanto, no presenta relación significativa
