Moral Values of Rahwana’s Figure in Rahwana Putih Novel by Sri Teddy Rusdy
Full text linkRahwana Putih, a novel by Sri Teddy Rusdy, reveals the figure of Rahwana with good characters and behaviours. The characters appeared contain moral values that can be considered as a role model. This phenomena is interesting to be explored deeply because, here, Rahwana is presented differently from its stereotype in all puppet stories. Based on this research background, this study aims to analyze moral values contained in Rahwana Putih by Sri Teddy Rusdy. Structuralism approach is used to analyze the moral values on Rahwana figure which emphasizes on intrinsic elements of fiction works. The MacIntyre’s theory of morality that cores on truthfulness and trust, justice, and courage is also applied to observe these values. The method used in this study is analytical descriptive and it consists of primary and secondary data sources. The primary data source is Rahwana Putih by Sri Teddy Rusdy, while the secondary data sources are journals and references which are relevant to the research problem. The techniques for collecting data comprise reading, classifying, reducing and describing data. The technique used to analyze the data is content analysis. The results show that the moral values appeared in Rahwana’s characters embrace honesty, trust, justice and courage are the manifestation of Javanese leadership concept called astabrata
Pembelajaran Mahārat al-Kalām Menurut Rusdy Ahmad Thu’aimah dan Mahmud Kamil al-Nâqah
No full textMany experts about Arabic argue about the nature of language which will have an impact on the pattern of learning Arabic, including that اللغة في الأساس, هي الكلام” According to Mahmud Kamil al-Nâqah the urgency of speaking skills in the context of learning foreign languages is found in the oral aspects of the language itself. The speaking aspect is the main aspect of the foreign language learning curriculum. This opinion clearly indicates that speaking skills (kalām) indicate a person\u27s success in speaking and knowing the language. Because this proficiency is very much related to pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, listening skills, etc. This research uses descriptive analysis method, and the conclusions obtained based on this research are curriculum design for learning Arabic based on mahārat al-kalām learning theory according to Rusdy Ahmad Thu\u27aimah and Mahmud Kamil al-Nâqah. Then the use of methods and strategies or techniques based on the right approach will influence the results of language learning goals. The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning of mahārat al-kalām according to Rusdy Ahmad Thu’aimah and Mahmud Kamil al-Nâqah.
Abstrak
Banyak para ahli tentang bahasa Arab berpendapat tentang hakikat berbahasa yang akan berdampak pada pola pembelajaran bahasa Arab, diantaranya bahwa “اللغة في الأساس, هي الكلام”. Menurut Mahmud Kamil al-Nâqah urgensi kemahiran berbicara dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Asing terdapat pada aspek lisan pada bahasa itu sendiri. Aspek berbicara merupakan aspek utama dalam kurikulum pembelajaran bahasa Asing. Pendapat ini jelas mengindikasikan bahwa kemahiran berbicara (kalām) mengisyaratkan keberhasilan seseorang dalam berbahasa dan mengetahui bahasa tersebut. Karena kemahiran ini sangat terkait dengan pelafalan, gramatika, kosakata, keterampilan mendengarkan, dan lain lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif, dan kesimpulan yang didapatkan berdasarkan penelitian ini berupa desain kurikulum pembelajaran bahasa Arab berdasarkan teori pembelajaran mahārat al-kalām menurut Rusdy Ahmad Thu’aimah dan Mahmud Kamil al-Nâqah. Maka Penggunaan metode dan strategi atau teknik yang didasari oleh pendekatan (approach) yang tepat akan berpengaruh terhadap hasil dari tujuan pembelajaran bahasa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pembelajaran mahārat al-kalām menurut Rusdy Ahmad Thu’aimah dan Mahmud Kamil al-Nâqah.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

This research was conducted at rice field at Aneuk Glee Village, sub district of Indrapuri, district of Aceh Besar. This research used Randomized Block Design non factorial, consisting of 6 treatments. They were unhulled paddy, rice, split rice, corn, split corn and corn powder. The treatment was repeated 4 times. The variables observed were percentage of damage plant, trapped rats, and ratio of male rat to female rat. The result of this research showed that preference of the rat was significantly affected by kinds of food. Among the treatments, unhulled paddy was the most preferred. However, at percentage of damage plant, the rats preferred rice to other baits. The ratio of rats trapped was high at male rats. This proved that male rats in addition to getting the food were looking for their pairs, because female rats stayed more in the pit for feeding activity

Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
DEKONSTRUKSI NILAI MORAL NOVEL RAHWANA PUTIH KARYA SRI TEDDY RUSDY
Full text linkPada era postmodern ini, nilai moral semakin mengalami pergeseran sebagai akibat adanya perkembangan arus informasi dan komunikasi yang begitu pesat sehingga diperlukan penguatan nilai moral yang bersumber pada budaya bangsa, yaitu wayang. Pergeseran nilai moral terdapat dalam novel Rahwana Putih karya Sri Teddy Rusdy yang mendekonstruksi epos Ramayana Walmiki didasarkan pada filosofi Jawa dalam wayang, yaitu Sastrajendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating Diyu. Penelitian ini dikaitkan dengan novel dekonstruksi lainnya, yaitu Anak Bajang Menggiring Angin karya Sindhunata untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang holistik. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah postmodern yang menghasilkan sebuah nilai baru berkaitan dengan perilaku nilai moral ketuhanan, akemanusiaan, dan kealaman. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan dekonstruksi Derrida, yaitu 1) menemukan tema mayor untuk menentukan trace atau jejak (K1), 2) menemukan oposisi biner sebagai praktik hitam/ putih, 3) menemukan ambiguitas, dan 4) menemukan konstruksi baru (K2). Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah nilai baru, yaitu proposisi- proposisi tentang perilaku manusia yang berkaitan dengan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, meliputi kehidupan dan kematian, kesakralan, maupun salah dan benar. Di samping itu, proposisi-proposisi tentang perilaku manusia yang berkaitan dengan hubungan manusia dengan manusia, meliputi cinta dan perkawinan, maupun rakyat dan penguasa. Selanjutnya, hubungan manusia dengan alam yang meliputi persatuan jagad kecil dengan jagad gede.

In this postmodern era, moral values are increasingly experiencing a shift as a result of the development of information and communication flows that are so rapid that it is necessary to strengthen moral values originating in national culture, namely wayang. The shift in moral values is found in the novel Rahwana Putih by Sri Teddy Rusdy which deconstructs the epic Ramayana Walmiki which is based on Javanese philosophy in wayang, namely Sastrajendra Hayuningrat Pangruwating Diyu. This research is related to another deconstruction novel, namely Anak Bajang Menggiring Anginby Sindhunata to gain a holistic understanding. This research approach is postmodern which produces a new value related to the behavior of divine, human, and natural moral values. This research method uses Derrida's deconstruction, namely 1) finding major themes to determine traces or traces (K1), 2) finding binary opposites as black/white practices, 3) finding ambiguity, and 4) finding new constructions (K2). The result of this research is a new value, namely propositions about human behavior related to the human relationship with God, including life and death, sacredness, as well as right and wrong. In addition, propositions about human behavior related to human relations with humans, including love and marriage, as well as people and rulers. Furthermore, the relationship between humans and nature includes the unity of the small universe with the big universe.
