O segundo volume inicia uma leitura dessas crônicas a partir de pressupostos teóricos de Mikhail Bakhtin, utilzando dele conceitos como cronotopo, dialogismo e carnavalização. A leitura aborda a importância dessas crônicas na conformação da imagem do seu autor e na compreensão de sua riqueza estilística, considerando-as como território em que duas representações - esporte e narrativa - se articulam

Get PDFTCC (graduação) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro Tecnológico, Arquitetura.O esporte é parte fundamental da história de Joinville (SC) e é impossível contála sem mencionar o Ginásio Ivan Rodrigues. Construído no fim da década de 70, o
ginásio foi palco por muitos anos dos principais eventos esportivos e culturais da
cidade. No entanto, sua história foi marcada desde sua inauguração por problemas
de infraestrutura e a mais de dez anos ele se encontra abandonado sem condições
para uso. Outro participante importante nessa história esportiva é o setor industrial,
que além de conceder benefícios alimentícios, de transporte e de saúde a seus
trabalhadores, oferecia também benefícios de esporte e lazer através das Sociedades
Esportivas e Recreativas (SER). Esses equipamentos apresentam a melhor oferta de
infraestrutura para as práticas desportivas na cidade, contudo, localizam-se afastadas
da região central da cidade e só podem ser utilizados por atletas externos à empresa
mediante o pagamento. Dessa forma, visando democratizar a prática esportiva na
cidade decidiu-se conciliar a problemática da falta de equipamentos esportivos de
fácil acesso à da má conservação dos equipamentos existentes, propondo um novo
centro esportivo anexo ao Ginásio Ivan Rodrigues considerando as condicionantes
urbanas do local
Ivan Žuvela Šabo and His Etnographic Record from 1892
Get PDFU ovom tekstu otkriva se identitet autora jednog starijeg etnografskog zapisa nastalog na otoku Korčuli. Riječ je o rukopisu „Narodne pjesme junačke i žetelačke“ iz 1892., a koji se čuva u Arhivu Odsjeka za etnologiju Hrvatske akademije znanosti i umjetnosti u Zagrebu. Iako je u tom rukopisu autor potpisan kao „Ivan Žuvela, pravnik“, dosada ga se nije moglo točnije identificirati, iznesena je kriva pretpostavka, a čak se i spekuliralo da je riječ o pseudonimu. Istraživanjem dostupnih izvora i novinskih zapisa ipak se utvrdilo kako je zaista riječ o Velolučaninu Ivanu Žuveli iz grane Šabo, studentu prava koji je umro u svojoj 23-oj godini života, samo godinu dana po nastanku ovog rukopisa. Uz autora, u tekstu se detaljno progovara o rukopisu i njegovom iznimnom značaju za proučavanje nekadašnje svakodnevice, a posebno žetelačkih običaja na zapadnom dijelu otoka Korčule.This text reveals the identity of the hitherto unknown author one of the oldest known ethnographic record from the island of Korčula. The manuscript titled “Narodne pjesme junačke i žetelačke” (Folk Songs of Heroes and Harvesters) dates back to 1892 and is preserved in the Archive of the Ethnology Division at the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb. Although the author of the manuscript is signed as “Ivan Žuvela, legal scholar,” his precise identification has remained elusive, with incorrect assumptions and even speculation about a possible pseudonym. Through research of available sources and newspaper records, it has now been conclusively determined that the author is indeed Ivan Žuvela from Vela Luka, a member of the Šabo family, and a law student who passed away at the age of 23, just a year after creating this manuscript. In addition to introducing the author, this text provides a detailed exploration of the manuscript and its exceptional significance for studying the everyday life of the past, particularly the harvesting customs on the western part of the island of Korčula

With the rapid growth of technology, computer-assisted pronunciation teaching (CAPT) has gained attention as a means to enhance pronunciation skills. This study investigates the efficiency of the Academic English Pronunciation Course (ACEPC), a standalone online pronunciation course for international graduate students. It examines the impact of inexpensive and accessible technology in creating pronunciation video lessons, with a focus on segmentals to improve phonological accuracy. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, collecting quantitative data through assessments and qualitative data through participants' perceptions. The findings contribute to the existing body of research on pronunciation instruction, offering practical recommendations for educators and language learning institutions. This study aims to improve the design and effectiveness of pronunciation courses tailored to the needs of international graduate students
