Penggunaan Metode Student Team Achievement Division untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa pada Konsep Menghitung Luas Segitiga Kelas IV SD
The purpose of this study was (1) to analyze the impact of using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) method to increase student motivation about the concept of calculating the area of a triangle in class IV SD Negeri 1 Dermaji, Lumbir District, Banyumas Regency. (2) analyzing the impact of using the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) method can improve student learning outcomes about the concept of calculating the area of a triangle in class IV SD Negeri 1 Dermaji Banyumas District Banyumas Regency. The CAR procedure consists of four steps of research, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection in its implementation of two cycles. The results of this study can be concluded as follows: (1) the use of the STAD method in mathematics learning about calculating the area of a triangle can increase learning motivation of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Dermaji Banyumas District Banyumas Regency with an increase from 10 students to 22 students or 50.00%. (2) With the use of visual aids can improve student learning outcomes in class IV SD Negeri 1 Dermajid with an average from the beginning of learning to the second cycle that is 49.79 to 75.63 increased 86.67 and mastery learning from 8 students to 18 students later rose to 23 students from 24 students overall. So in the conclusion of this study are (1) The use of the STAD method can increase student motivation in class IV SD Negeri 1 Dermaji Banyumas District Banyumas Regency; (2) The use of the STAD method is proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes in class IV SD Negeri 1 Dermaji, Banyumas District, Banyumas Regency
FORMULASI ZAT PENGATUR TUMBUH DENGAN INTERVAL WAKTU SUBKULTUR TERHADAP INISIASI DAN MULTIPLIKASI PISANG TALAS (Musa paradisiaca var sapientum L) SECARA IN VITRO
Talas banana (Musa paradisiaca var sapientum L) is one type of typical bananas in South Kalimantan that has a bright prospect in the future. The plant propagation of talas banana is slower than the other types of bananas. Therefore, it is necessary to use the fast and efficient propagating method, namely by the tissue culture. The growing media used in the banana plant propagation through in vitro culture were Murashige and Skoog media. The propagation of talas banana through in vitro culture used the plant growth regulators of cytokinin, namely BAP, Thidiazuron, and coconut water. The objectives of the research were 1) to find out the PGR formulations in the media of MS and ½ MS with the subculture time interval for optimization of culture products on the initiation and multiplication of the Talas banana’s shoot and root formation called plantlet (Musa paradisiaca var sapientum L). 2) to determine the methods/techniques of in vitro propagation (optimization of each PGR formula on the media of MS and ½ MS with each time interval of Talas banana subculture, the highest number of roots in the treatment of MS + BAP 0.5 mg L-1 while the highest percentage of contamination in MS medium + BAP 0.5 mg L-1
Ketahanan Kultivar Pisang Lokal Kalimantan Selatan terhadap Penyakit Bercak Sigatoka (Mycosphaerella sp.)
Sigatoka of banana caused by Mycospherella sp. is an important disease, since it causes yield losses. Resistant variety is considered a promising approach for sigatoka disease management. This study was aimed to evaluate the resistance of local banana cultivars from South Kalimantan against sigatoka disease. The fungus was isolated from leaves of Kapas cultivar showing severe symptoms of sigatoka disease, onto potato dextrose agar medium. The isolate was then confirmed as Mycosphaerella sp. following Koch’s postulate. Level of resistance is determined based on symptoms development. Resistance of local banana cultivars can be differentiated into susceptible (‘Awak’, ‘Jaranang’, ‘Kapas’, ‘Mas’, and ‘Paikat’), medium resistant (‘Ambon’, ‘Kepok’, ‘Mas Bantan’, ‘Mauli’, and ‘Talas’), and resistant (‘Tarati’). In general, the symptom was visible 2 to 8 days after inoculation. The longer incubation period the more resistant response of banana varieties. Incubation period was negatively correlated to the disease intensity, but it is not correlated with stomatal density
Pengaruh Takaran Pupuk Kandang Kotoran Sapi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Cabai Rawit Pada Tanah Gambut
Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap faktor tunggal, yaitu pemberian takaran pupuk kandang kotoran sapi (P) yang terdiri dari kontrol (p0), 15 t ha-1 (p1), 20 t ha-1 (p2), 25 t ha-1 (p3), dan 30 t ha-1 (p4). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali, sehingga terdapat 20 satuan percobaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kandang kotoran sapi terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai rawit pada tanah gambut dan mengetahui takaran pupuk kandang kotoran sapi yang paling baik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai rawit pada tanah gambut. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah cabang, saat berbunga pertama, saat berbuah pertama, jumlah buah per tanaman, berat per buah dan berat buah per tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian takaran pupuk kandang kotoran sapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap komponen pertumbuhan dan hasil yaitu berupa tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah cabang, saat berbunga pertama, saat berbuah pertama, jumlah buah per tanaman, dan berat buah per tanaman namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat per buah. Takaran 30 t ha-1 pada umur 35 hst merupakan perlakuan terbaik untuk tinggi tanaman (30,0 cm), jumlah cabang pada umur 60 hst (20,5 cabang), dan berat buah per tanaman (186,3 g). Pada takaran 15 t ha-1 menghasilkan diameter batang pada umur 35 hst terbesar (5,0 mm), saat berbunga pertama tercepat (32,8 hst), dan saat berbuah pertama paling cepat (39,3 hst). Sedangkan pada takaran 20 t ha-1 menghasilkan jumlah buah per tanaman terbanyak yaitu 128,0 buah
Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Semangka (Citrullus vulgaris Schard.) Terhadap Jumlah Cabang dan Jumlah Buah
Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendapatkan respon pertumbuhan dan produksi semangka yang berbeda-beda dari kombinasi perlakuan jumlah cabang dan jumlah buah. Mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman semangka yang terbaik terhadap kombinasi perlakuan jumlah cabang dan jumlah buah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan masyarakat, Kelurahan Kemuning, Loktabat Utara, Kota Banjarbaru, mulai bulan September-November 2019. Dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah jumlah cabang dengan tiga taraf perlakuan yaitu (cx) tanpa pemangkasan pucuk, dan memelihara semua cabang, (c2) pemangkasan pucuk, dan memelihara dua cabang, dan (c3) pemangkasan pucuk, dan memelihara tiga cabang. Faktor kedua adalah jumlah buah per tanaman yaitu (b1) memelihara satu buah per tanaman, (b2) memelihara dua buah per tanaman, dan (b3) memelihara tiga buah per tanaman. Peubah yang diamati adalah panjang tanaman, umur berbunga, bobot segar rata-rata per buah, diameter buah, tingkat kemanisan buah, dan bobot segar rata-rata per tanaman. Panjang tanaman dan umur berbunga dipengaruhi oleh perlakuan jumlah cabang. Panjang tanaman terbaik diperoleh pada perlakuan pemangkasan pucuk, memelihara dua cabang (c2) 416,63 cm. Umur semangka berbunga paling cepat diperoleh pada perlakuan pemangkasan pucuk, memelihara dua cabang (c2), dan pemangkasan pucuk, memelihara tiga cabang (c3), dengan umur berbunga rata-rata hari ke-23 HST. Bobot segar rata-rata per buah, diameter buah, tingkat kemanisan, dan bobot segar rata-rata per tanaman, dipengaruhi oleh perlakuan jumlah buah. Bobot segar rata-rata per buah terbaik diperoleh dari perlakuan satu buah per tanaman (b1) dengan bobot mencapai (5,14 kg), tingkat kemanisan terbaik diperoleh dari perlakuan satu buah per tanaman (b1) dengan kadar (11,53 obrix), diameter buah terbaik diperoleh dari perlakuan satu buah per tanaman (b1) dengan diameter (20,61 cm), bobot segar buah per tanaman terbaik diperoleh dari perlakuan dua buah per tanaman (b2) dengan bobot (6,37 kg)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases.
