Evidence for the decay B0→J/ψω and measurement of the relative branching fractions of meson decays to J/ψη and J/ψη′
First evidence of the B 0 → J / ψ ω decay is found and the B s 0 → J / ψ η and B s 0 → J / ψ η ′ decays are studied using a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb -1 collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of sqrt(s) = 7 TeV. The branching fractions of these decays are measured relative to that of the B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0 decay:frac(B (B 0 → J / ψ ω), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 0.89 ± 0.19 (stat) - 0.13 + 0.07 (syst),frac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 14.0 ± 1.2 (stat) - 1.5 + 1.1 (syst) - 1.0 + 1.1 (frac(f d, f s)),frac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η ′), B (B 0 → J / ψ ρ 0)) = 12.7 ± 1.1 (stat) - 1.3 + 0.5 (syst) - 0.9 + 1.0 (frac(f d, f s)), where the last uncertainty is due to the knowledge of f d / f s, the ratio of b-quark hadronization factors that accounts for the different production rate of B 0 and B s 0 mesons. The ratio of the branching fractions of B s 0 → J / ψ η ′ and B s 0 → J / ψ η decays is measured to befrac(B (B s 0 → J / ψ η ′), B (B s 0 → J / ψ η)) = 0.90 ± 0.09 (stat) - 0.02 + 0.06 (syst)
For any industrial unit, a better understanding of its pollutant emissions involves quantifying the flow of gaseous and particulate pollutants and not just expressing a pollutant concentration. However, this data is still imprecise and poses a number of reliability problems, particularly because of the difficulty of accurately measuring gas velocities and flows.Based on a review of the state of the art and feedback from experience, RECORD has produced a guide tailored to channelled gaseous effluents (flue gases, process gases or biogas). The document begins with a review of the theoretical basis for measuring velocities and flow rates, followed by a review of applicable technologies in the form of practical data sheets. Finally, a summary enables the various techniques to be compared according to different criteria, so that the most appropriate technique can be chosen.

Regulations relating to polluted sites and soils now emphasise the need to restore biodiversity. Although we have seen the restoration of many of these sites in recent years, data on these experiments and their success remain limited. How can we assess the success of restoration measures in terms of biodiversity? This is what the RECORD project is trying to answer. After summarising the French and European regulations on biodiversity restoration, this report reviews the main indicators for measuring key ecosystem functions and ecosystem services. The study focuses on two main types of restored environment: wetlands and grasslands. It then proposes a selection grid of indicators for assessing and monitoring the impact of restoration measures. Finally, the methodology developed is tested on three cases of site restoration (from RECORD members). This study opens up pragmatic and interesting prospects for assessing the restoration of degraded sites.
At a time when the circular economy and, in particular, the efficient use of resources are gaining momentum, it is clear that the management and recovery of excavated materials (soil, construction site surplus, etc.) need to be optimised in France. Indeed, the stakeholders believe that this source, although quantitatively very important, does not yet benefit from conditions favourable to its widespread recovery. In response to this observation, RECORD is putting forward recommendations that have been drawn up jointly with players in the sector. These are based on a European benchmark analysing national regulations and practices in 6 Member States, as well as on a diagnosis of the French situation, highlighting the obstacles and levers to the effective recovery of excavated materials.
