    Kalkulus Peubah Banyak 2 (KPB 2) merupakan Mata Kuliah Keilmuan dan Keterampilan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat. Proses perkuliahan masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan hanya mengacu pada 1 buku teks. Karena buku teks yang digunakan sulit dipahami, akibatnya mahasiswa tidak termotivasi untuk belajar mandiri.Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan modul yang mendukung kemandirian mahasiswa dalam Modul yang dikembangkan telah diuji kevalidannya dan kepraktikalitasannya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul berbasis masalah yang efektif terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4-D. Tahap yang telah dilakukan adalah tahap define, design, dan develop berupa validitas dan praktikalitas. Tahap develop yang dilakukan berupa efektivitas yaitu mengamati motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul berbasis masalah untuk perkuliahan KPB 2 efektif karena sudah dapat meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa belajar selama perkuliahan KPB

    Bacgroud : Growth and development of early childhood requires a variety of stimulus because at that age is a very important time for children to develop in accordance with their needs and potential. According to the Indonesian Pediatricians Association (IDAI) conduct examination in the age range 0-6 years. The results obtained that 69.4% of children can not achieve the development of cognitive function, language and speech.Method : This research is a pre experiment research with one group pretest-posttest design. A sample of 15 children with purposive sampling technique on August 27 to June 05, 2017. Data analysis used is Univariat and Bivariat with t-test with 95% confidence level and α: 5%. The results showed that there was an influence of educational game with puzzle media on cognitive development in recognizing the shape and color of preschoolers (4-5,5 years) with p-value = 0,000 <0.05. Result The conclusion of this research is that statistically there is influence of educative game with media puzzle to cognitive development in recognizing the shape and color of preschool age children (4-5,5 year).For that, it is expected to effectively improve the cognitive development in children

    Design of Mini-Grids for the Productive Use of Energy : a Case Study of Three Villages in Rural Ethiopia

    Electricity access is among the major challenges many Sub-Saharan African countries face, particularly in rural areas. Most of the rural population rely on traditional biomass for their basic energy needs. This energy inequality is due to the high investment costs of grid extension to remote rural areas, which poses a great financial burden to the governments. Therefore, Hybrid mini-grids are gaining attention from researchers, investors and governments, as they can provide electricity in remote areas of developing countries where grid extension is costly. Sadly, a significant fraction of mini-grids remains in their pilot projects in the SSA region. This is due to the difficulty associated with accurately predicting the future electricity demand of currently unelectrified communities. Moreover, it is also challenging to incentivise local economies once electricity is made available. Therefore, this thesis aims to design the mini-grid to provide power to three un-electrified communities of Ethiopia at the least possible cost of electricity. The main target of electrification is to substitute the fossil-powered irrigation system for more sustainable farming. The feasibility of the mini-grid system was performed using HOMER Pro and PVsyst, which calculated the optimise solution using diesel and solar resources. The simulation results gave the LCOE of the three communities within a range of 0.15/kWhto0.18/kWh to 0.18/kWh with a CAPEX range of 1250/kWpto1500/kWp to 1500/kWp. A complete financial analysis was used to assess the feasibility of the mini-grid over a twenty-five-year lifetime. The analysis gave promising results, with an IRR of 8% and NPV of 3 million dollars, assuming the constant electricity tariff of 0.067/kWhand0.30/kWh and 0.30/kWh for communities and farmers, respectivelyObjectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible::7 - Energia Assequible i No Contaminant::7.b - Per a 2030, ampliar la infraestructura i millorar la tecnologia per tal d’oferir serveis d’energia moderns i sos­tenibles per a tots els països en desenvolupament, en particular els països menys avançats, els petits estats insulars en desenvolupament i els països en desenvolupament sense litoral, d’acord amb els programes de suport respectiu

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Pengembangan Media pembelajaran Papan Jodoh Materi Nama-Nama Malaikat Beserta Tugasnya pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 To’Bela. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis kebutuhan pengembangan media pembelajaran papan jodoh materi nama-nama malaikat beserta tugasnya pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam kelas IV dan untuk mengetahui hasil uji validitas dan kepraktisan produk media pembelajaran papan jodoh materi nama-nama malaikat beserta tugasnya pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam kelas IV. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research & Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 To’Bela dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas IV. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari validasi ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan angket respon guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi sedangkan teknik analisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran papan jodoh dinyatakan sangat valid dan praktis digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli media sebesar 95,8% dengan kategori sangat valid, ahli materi sebesar 95,8% dengan kategori sangat valid, ahli bahasa sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat valid dan angket respon guru sebesar 97,5% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran papan jodoh sangat valid dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam khususnya materi nama-nama malaikat beserta tugasnya. This research discusses the development of learning media for match boards, material on the names of angels and their tasks in the learning of Islamic religious education and character class IV, To'Bela 1 State Elementary School. This research aims to determine the analysis of the needs for developing match board learning media with material on the names of angels and their assignments in class IV Islamic Religious Education learning and to find out the results of the validity and practicality test of the match board learning media product with material on the names of angels and their assignments in Religious Education learning Islam class IV. This research is a type of Research & Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research was conducted at 1 To'Bela State Elementary School with the research subject being grade IV students. The data in this study were obtained from the validation of media experts, material experts, linguists and teacher response questionnaires. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation while the analysis techniques in this study used qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning media of the matched board are declared very valid and practical to use as learning media based on the assessment of media experts of 95.8% with a very valid category, material experts of 95.8% with a very valid category, linguists of 94% with a very valid category and teacher response questionnaires of 97.5% with a very practical category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the learning media of the match board is very valid and practical to use in learning Islamic Religious Education, especially the material on the names of angels and their duties.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
