No full textA partir das reflexões teóricas de Michel Zéraffa (2010) e Carlos Reis (2014), nos campos da teoria do romance e da narratologia, respectivamente, este artigo realizará uma análise do processo constitutivo de A instalação do medo (2012), do romancista português Rui Zink, a partir do pressuposto de que a obra lança mão da construção de personagens planas, na acepção de E.M.Forster, para constituir não apenas a realidade em que elas se inserem, mas para, a partir dela, estabelecer uma possibilidade de leitura da realidade em que se insere o leitor, caracterizando o fenômeno da metalepse, como a compreende a teoria dos estudos narrativos.Abstract: Based on the theoretical reflections by Michel Zéraffa (2010) and Carlos Reis (2014), in the fields of Theory of Novel and Narratology, this article aims at analyzing the building process of A instalação do medo (2012), by the Portuguese novelist Rui Zink. This analysis start from the principle that the novel utilizes flat characters, as understood by E. M. Forster, to build not only the reality in which they are inserted, but also to establish a possible reading of the reality in which the reader belongs, characterizing the metalepsis, as comprehended by the narrative studies theory

Kad bi barem postojala neka brana da se iskoristi prirodna energija i jednim velikim hidroelektranskim pothvatom oživi poljoprivreda. Ali ne. Žrtvovani smo uzalud. To je tek jedan u nizu strateških poteza kojim Europa ustupa oceanu još jedan dio svog teritorija – i ljudi – premda zauzvrat ne dobiva ništa. Znam, ne bih to trebao reći. Znam da postoje razlozi, opravdani razlozi, za ovo što nam se događa. Ako već nisu religijske prirode, onda su barem ekonomske; dođe na isto, na neki način i jedni i drugi su sveti. Ovo je bila loša godina i Zajednica mora stegnuti remen. Najmlađi misle da se sve može popuniti iz proračuna. Ali ne može. Kao kod kolača – u kritičnom trenutku više nema, kolač se više ne može rezati, koliko god kriške bile tanke. Znali smo odavno da se bez potpore Novog Bruxellesa nalazimo na vrhu ljestvice za odstrel – možemo mi i bez tog priznanja, ako se nas pita. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
