Convolutors on
In this paper we continue the study of the spaces and undertaken in
Albanese and Mele (J Pseudo-Differ Oper Appl, 2021). We determine new representations of
such spaces and we give some structure theorems for their dual spaces. Furthermore, we show
that is the space of convolutors of the space of the ω-ultradifferentiable
rapidly decreasing functions of Beurling type (in the sense of Braun, Meise and Taylor) and of
its dual space . We also establish that the Fourier transform is an isomorphism from
onto . In particular,we prove that this isomorphism is topological when
the former space is endowed with the strong operator lc-topology induced by
and the last space is endowed with its natural lc-topology
CNSL: From Waste of the Cashew Agro-Industry to precious renewable resource for bio-based fine chemicals and new materials
The new millennium is marked by a growing search for renewable fuels and alternative raw materials from biomass in the petrochemicals industry. Thus, the preparation of fine chemicals and innovative materials from natural and renewable resources is an attractive topic for academic and industrial research especially when the purpose is to recycle huge amount of agro-industrial wastes.
Cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL), well known by-product from the cashew industry rich in natural phenols, is widely produced in many countries (Africa, Brazil, India). Cardanol, obtained as the main product by vacuum distillation of the CNSL, has been used for the preparation of fine chemicals and hybrid materials [1, 2]. In the last years, different classes of compounds, such for example porphyrins, phthalocyanines, fullerenes cardanol based and others fine chemicals, have been synthesized from selected components of CNSL through environmentally sustainable strategies [1-5]. Moreover, innovative composites and hybrid cardanol based compounds have been used to design eco-friendly functional materials and processes [6-9].

Mixed methods in public administration: advantages and challenges
Understanding when and how mixed methods (MMs) have been and should be employed in public administration research has recently attracted scholarly attention (Hendren et al., 2018; Honig, 2019; Mele and Belardinelli, 2019). These methodological stock-taking exer-cises conclude that the public administration literature has been increasingly receptive to the adoption of MMs and that scholars in our field are familiar with the vast repertoire of mixed methods designs available. A systematic review conducted by Mele and Belardinelli (2019) indicates that, out of the 104 primary studies included in the review: 38 per cent of the studies adopted a sequential explanatory design, 31 per cent a parallel design, 29 per cent a sequential exploratory design, and the remaining 4 per cent a hybrid combination of MMs. While this variety signals maturity in the selection of methods, the study also argues that mixed methods in public administration could further unleash their potential if scholars were more precise and explicit in their combination of methods. Furthermore, issues that are still considered quite problematic include the adequate comparison or integration of the results obtained through the separate research processes and the fact that some works relegate to the background some of the evidence collected. This is often the fate of the data resulting from interviews, the method most frequently combined with another. In a similar vein, Hendren et al. (2018, p.912) call for a “dedicated effort to improve the qualitative component of mixed methods studies, and greater attention to integrating the qualitative and quantitative components of mixed methods studies”. The purpose of this chapter is to stimulate the debate on MMs in our field and to nail down the advantages and challenges of this approach. After framing MMs as a research approach that serves the purpose of a pragmatic discipline, we offer a classification of MM designs, identifying some challenges as well as their specific advantages. We then provide examples and guidance through the analysis of three illustrative studies

This essay investigates the liturgical-musical codes of the Cathedral, the St. Francis Convent and the Monastery of St. Clare in Oristano (XI-XVII centuries), on the basis of an international critical approach and a new interdisciplinary and descriptive model. The manuscripts considered form part of the only collection of liturgy books illuminated with neums in Sardinia. The majority of codes and the iconography – 18 manuscripts and numerous fragments, c.a. 3,400 parchments, 159 illuminations – were unpublished, with the only exception of a inventory with wrong datations (Lucca, 1911). All of the liturgical and musical formularies, and the biblical references have been traced and collated with the main repertoires. This study also shows cross references with a historical analysis and a critical Glossary by the author, published in the same volume and edited by the author himself (a CDRom is included). Among the codes is the corpus ACO P. III-VIII, a monumental Antiphonary in 6 volumes produced in the Tuscan-Emilian area in the XIII4/4 century. This is one of the most important sources of the Roman-Franciscan ritual after the reformations of Haymo of Faversham (1244) and Nicholas III (1277-1280). Hundreds of its facsimiles, in colour, have been considered. A bibliography of 274 references provides the primary research tools in the area of liturgical-musical code analysis
Torino 1920-1940.
New TiO2 based photocatalysts for the degradation of organic pollutants in water
In the last years a new category of TiO2 based composites prepared by impregnation of bare polycrystalline TiO2 powders with different sensitizers (i.e. phthalocyanines, porphyrins) permitted the improvement of the photocatalytic degradation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) under UV1-3 as well as under visible light irradiation.4 On the other hand growing interest devoted to the photodegradation of organic pollutants in water solutions by means of economically advantageous and environmental friendly processes are regarding this topic.
Continuing our research in this area, we report here our recent results concerning: i) the preparation of new TiO2 and TiO2 based photocatalysts containing Fe and Cu species; ii) improvement of the photodegradation processes and conditions.

Kāua I Ka Ua: An Exploration of Hawaiian Waltz Mele
Mele, the general term for Hawaiian song or chant have been guarded and preserved for innumerable generations for the simple, yet essential fact that they are crucial to the maintenance of Hawaiian lore. In the current climate of Hawaiian language revitalization and restoration efforts, great strides continue to be made in solidifying a fundamental language aptitude. Mele, in its studies and practice provide an avenue through which these fundamentals are enhanced. One significant type of mele often enjoyed, but hardly ever analyzed are Hawaiian waltz. This project seeks to look at the introduction of the waltz to Hawaiʻi beginning in the monarchy period. The objectives of this exploration into these waltzes, composed almost exclusively by native speakers of Hawaiian, are to look for certain characteristic similarities contained within the compositions including but not limited to: the construction of the mele, the presence of a chorus, word choice and complementary imagery. The mele are being curated from the repository housed at Ka Waihona A Ke Aloha-The Mele Institute of Kawaihuelani, Center for Hawaiian Language. At the culmination of this project, the goal is to have ascertained the proper acumen to produce a functional template using the information gained from the research compendium to haku (compose) an original mele. This original waltz mele will seek to incorporate the “pearls of wisdom” realized in this humbling, experiential journey
