THE DEVELOPMENT MYTH
In this essay, Rasna Warah argues that advocates of more aid to Africa fail to address social and historical injustices that are among the root causes of poverty and under-development in the continent. The author provides a much-needed African perspective on the development industry, and discusses why it has failed so miserably in lifting millions of people out of poverty

DIVIDED CITY
This report looks at how slum dwellers in Nairobi obtain information and what mechanisms exist in slums to ensure access to media and information in the absence of information and communication technologies (ICTs). It argues that the new “informational paradigm” presents new and exciting development challenges that, if not confronted head-on, can lead to increasing poverty and socialexclusion in countries that have been unable to make full use of the opportunities offered by ICTs. In the context of the growing urbanization of poverty and Africa’s digital exclusion, the report describes the various political, financial and infrastructure barriers that countries such as Kenya have to overcome to democratise access to media and ICTs. The report then presents the findings of research conducted by the author to determine Nairobi slum dwellers’ access to media and ICTs. One of the most significant findings is that social networks are among the most important sources of information among the urban poor in Nairobi. This suggests that “social capital” is an asset that the poor rely on to survive in the hostile and degrading environment of slums, and often a determinant of how well slum dwellers fare economically in the city. The report also found that while the impact of the Internet is minimal in slums, the use of mobile phones has grown, particularly among people working in the informal sector. This has had a positive impact on the livelihoods of the urban poor. However, the author makes a case for making other ICTs, particularly the Internet, more accessible to the urban poor: not doing so will further marginalize them and lead to Castells’s “dark urban age”
Les régimes d’avantages sociaux non-assurés (les RASNA)
Risks of loss can either be retained or transferred to an insurer.
Voluntary risk retention in the area of life insurance or employee
benefits compensation may be total or partial and requires administrative
resources for adequate loss coverage.
The author, Mr. Luc Plamondon, describes various self-insurance
approaches in the field of employee benefits compensation
plans. While some of these approaches call upon the voluntary action
of the employer who provides the coverage, handling, financing and
overall administration of claims, others may involve the insurer at different
levels of management as well as different methods of insurance.

Comparative Pharmacognostic and Phytochemical Analysis of Three Market Samples of Rasna: Pluchea lanceolata, Alpinia officinarum, and Alpinia calcarata: Comparative analysis of Rasan types from Raw material market
Introduction: Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine, utilizes a vast array of medicinal plants, each offering unique therapeutic properties that contribute to holistic health and well-being. However, misidentification of species is most common which comes in the way of authenticity. To cite an example - Pluchea lanceolata when mixed with varieties of Alpinia can lead to inconsistencies in their medicinal use. This underscores the need for accurate identification and standardization to ensure the efficacy of treatments and the safety of stakeholders. This research paper explores the botanical and medicinal profiles of Pluchea lanceolata, Alpinia calcarata, and Alpinia officinarum, emphasizing the importance of proper classification and the need for quality control in Ayurvedic herbal remedies. Materials and Methods: Raw materials were collected from Thrissur market and organoleptic, pharmacognostic and phytochemical analysis were done. Results and Discussion: Three varieties of Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata, Alpinia calcarata, and Alpinia officinarum) share common physical characteristics, such as scaly, rough rhizomes that are fibrous and tough, making them suitable for drying, grinding, or slicing (for medicinal use.) All three species exhibit starch grains, fibers, and stone cells in their rhizomes, contributing to energy storage, structural support, and resilience. Pluchea lanceolata has the highest total ash content, indicating a richer mineral composition, while A. calcarata and A. officinarum show lower mineral content. All three species contain phenols, sugars, carbohydrates, flavonoids, glycosides, steroids, and other bioactive compounds, contributing to their therapeutic properties. Conclusion: Standardization in preparation and use of Ayurvedic remedies is critical for preserving the integrity of Ayurveda, ensuring reliable therapeutic benefits, and positioning Ayurvedic medicine as a credible and effective global health solution
Website-Based Digital Product Provider Application Design
The marketing media specifically marketed digital products in the city of jayapura remain very scarce for free, so the digital product from creator-creator in jayapura does not reach its appropriate market target and causes its lack of technical implementation from creators.
The study used the method of analysis at pieces to identify the differences and influences provided by the proposed system. With six indicators of spectacle, information and data, economy, control and security, integration and service.
The result is a web-based digital product provider application. The application gains an average value of satisfaction (rk) involving 16 respondents with the following value acquisition: at the performance indicator: 4.5 which means "satisfied," economic indicator: 4.4 which means "satisfied," control indicator: 4.5 which means "satisfied" indicator: 4.3 which means "satisfied" and service indicator: 4.4 which means "satisfied." And thus it can be said that: "user satisfaction with the digitized applications" belongs in the satisfied categor
فن النشيد الإسلامي في تصور الحديث النبوي /THE CONCEPT OF THE PROPHET'S HADITH ON ISLAMIC NASYID ART
ABSTRACTIslamic Nasyid is a contemporary issue. People are increasingly liking and enjoying religious songs, from parents to children. In the modern era, the concept of art in an Islamic perspective is needed, where many humans become slaves to freedom that a human's self-awareness cannot control. Humans seem to be immersed in the world of excessive entertainment and violate the boundaries that the Shari'a has determined. Therefore, the author wants to explain the essence of nasyid art, the view of the Prophet's hadith on nasyid and the legal consequences of nasyid in the Prophet's hadith. This study is a literature review, classical and contemporary. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by collecting hadiths related to songs and music as part of nasyid. For data processing, the methods used are library research and descriptive analysis methods. The study results indicate that the understanding of nasyid, the law and the differences between the scholars in it has been explained in the hadith of the Prophet. Therefore, this paper has implications for understanding the actual values of art, especially for the millennial Muslim generation who face complex modern life problems to become a civilized Muslim generation
