Exortação apostólica Evangelii Gauduim: características, origens e impactos na Igreja Católica
Get PDFThis Dissertation seeks to understand the transformations within the Catholic Church with the
Papacy of Francis, the first Jesuit and Latin American pope in the millennial history of the
Catholic Church. It starts from the premise that Pope Francis, a supporter of the Theology of
the People during his pastoral life in Argentina, has taken the theological and pastoral
positions of this theology to the government of the Church, through the Apostolic Exhortation
Evangelii Gaudium - EG. Thus, this study aims to critically analyze this Exhortation, written
by Pope Francis and published in 2013, seeking to understand the characteristics of this
Catholic document, examining the origins of the document and analyzing the impacts of the
document, both within the Catholic Church and in society, specifically the Brazilian one. The
first chapter presents the characteristics of Evangelii Gaudium - EG, the Magisterium of Pope
Francis, his theological and pastoral line of thought and the influences of the Latin American
locus, especially Argentina, where he was born, grew up and received a Jesuit formation. . It
focuses on his trajectory as a priest and Cardinal of Argentina, emphasizing his pastoral
experience in the outskirts of Buenos Aires and the social, political and economic context.
The second chapter focuses its analysis on the origins of the document Evangelii Gaudium -
EG, seeking to place it in the Magisterium of Pope Francis, as well as the themes present in
the EG that signal influences from documents after the Second Vatican Council, documents
after Latin American and Caribbean Conferences. The third chapter analyzes the impacts of
the document on the actions of the Catholic Church. Basically, we seek to understand how the
Church, in the world and in Brazil, has been impacted over the last ten years by the guidelines
presented in E G. This research adopts the methodology of bibliographical research as the
main research tool. It can be seen, in the analysis of the document, that the paths proposed by
Pope Francis for governing the Church reveal that the personal trajectory and theological
positions of the Jesuit Jorge Mario Bergoglio intersect and are present in the teachings and
actions of the current pope.Esta Dissertação busca apreender as transformações no interior da Igreja Católica com o
Papado de Francisco, primeiro papa jesuíta e latino-americano na história milenar da Igreja
Católica. Parte da premissa que o Papa Francisco, adepto da Teologia do Povo durante sua
vida pastoral na Argentina, tenha levado para o governo da Igreja as posições teológicas e
pastorais dessa teologia, através da Exortação Apostólica Evangelii Gaudium - EG. Assim,
este estudo objetiva analisar criticamente essa Exortação, escrita pelo Papa Francisco e
publicada no ano de 2013, buscando compreender as características deste documento católico,
examinando as origens do documento e analisando os impactos do documento, tanto dentro da
Igreja Católica, como na sociedade, especificamente a brasileira. No primeiro capítulo
apresenta-se as características da Evangelii Gaudium - EG, do Magistério do Papa Francisco,
sua linha de pensamento teológico, pastoral e as influências do locus latino-americano,
especialmente da Argentina, onde ele nasceu, cresceu e recebeu uma formação jesuíta.
Enfoca-se sua trajetória enquanto sacerdote e Cardeal na Argentina, enfatizando sua
experiência pastoral nas periferias de Buenos Aires e o contexto social, político e econômico.
O segundo capítulo centra sua análise nas origens do documento Evangelii Gaudium - EG,
buscando situá-lo no Magistério do Papa Francisco, bem dos temas presentes na EG que
sinalizam influências dos documentos pós Concílio Vaticano II, dos documentos pós
Conferências Latino-Americanas e Caribenhas. O terceiro capítulo analisa os impactos do
documento no agir da Igreja Católica. Basicamente busca-se perceber como a Igreja, no
mundo e no Brasil, foi impactada ao longo dos últimos dez anos pelas diretrizes apresentadas
na EG. A presente pesquisa adota a metodologia da pesquisa bibliográfica como principal
ferramenta de investigação. Pode-se perceber, na análise do documento, que os caminhos
propostos pelo Papa Francisco para o governo da Igreja revelam que a trajetória pessoal e as
posições teológicas do jesuíta Jorge Mario Bergoglio se cruzam e se fazem presentes nos

Pós-humanismo enquanto uma versão secularizada da ensomatose gnóstica: corpo e modernidade técnica abordados através da sociologia do conhecimento
Get PDFThis research carried out in the field of Sociology, more specifically the Sociology of Knowledge and Technique, aims to investigate the presence in the secularized consciousness of modern society of a religious unconsciousness. This religious unconsciousness manifests itself through theological conceptions laicized in modern phenomena which, in themselves, are not explicitly religious, bring the religious notions implicitly and in a way that those involved in phenomena do not often refuse to admit the presence of these notions in his way of thinking. To exemplify the sustained thesis, the research chose trans or post-humanism as a modern phenomenon (which fed its imaginary of advances from science and modern technique) with analogous notions the religious conceptions of a Gnostic eschatology. Thus, the text of the research was elaborated in a way that in the first chapter expounded from where emerges the post-humanist thought, presented a more general picture, exposing Technical Modernity as existential basis of this knowledge. On the other hand, in the second chapter, the concepts of secularization and legitimacy applied to Modernity were approached from a philosophical point of view. In the third chapter, the concept of secularization was retaken as a sociology problem, since chapter two dealt with philosophical questions about this concept. Consequently, in the fourth chapter, the analogical relationship between posthumanism and gnosticism will be explored. This chapter, by exposing the elements that characterize Gnostic thought and its important influence in the formation of ideas in the West, brings the reader closer to the theological concepts that have been secularized in Modernity, at the same time that allows a closer approximation of the example, in this research, post-human thought. The latter is described as analogous to gnosis and full of unfoldings that describe a Gnostic eschatological logic.Fundação de Apoio a Pesquisa e à Inovação Tecnológica do Estado de Sergipe - FAPITEC/SEEsta pesquisa realizada no campo da Sociologia, de modo mais específico da Sociologia do Conhecimento e da Técnica, tem como objetivo investigar a presença de uma inconsciência religiosa na consciência secularizada da sociedade moderna. Esta inconsciência religiosa se manifesta por meio de concepções teológicas laicizadas em fenômenos modernos que, em si, não são explicitamente religiosos, pois trazem as noções religiosas de forma implícita e de modo que os envolvidos nos fenômenos não raramente se recusam a admitir a presença destas noções em seu modo de pensar. Para exemplificar a tese sustentada, a pesquisa escolheu o trans ou pós-humanismo como um fenômeno moderno (que tem alimentado o seu imaginário dos avanços oriundos da ciência e da técnica modernas) com noções análogas as concepções religiosas de uma escatologia gnóstica. Assim, o texto da pesquisa foi elaborado de forma que no primeiro capítulo expôs de onde emerge o pensamento pós-humanista, apresentou um quadro mais geral, expondo a Modernidade Técnica como base existencial deste conhecimento. Por sua vez, no segundo capítulo, abordaram-se os conceitos de secularização e de legitimidade aplicados a Modernidade sob um prisma filosófico. No terceiro capítulo, o conceito de secularização foi retomado enquanto problema da Sociologia, uma vez que o capítulo dois se ocupou com questões filosóficas em torno deste conceito. Consequentemente, no quarto capítulo, será explorada a relação analógica entre pós-humanismo e gnosticismo. Este capítulo, ao expor os elementos que caracterizam o pensamento gnóstico e a sua importante influência na formação das ideias no Ocidente, aproxima o leitor dos conceitos teológicos que foram secularizados na Modernidade, ao mesmo tempo, que possibilita maior aproximação do exemplo, em análise, nesta pesquisa, o pensamento pós-humano. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
