    One of the processes steps for producing rubber sole is vulcanization process. This process is carried out by using pressed moulding methods in which rubber compound was heated and pressed in the mould of rubber sole at certain time and temperature. The aim of this research is to know the influence of the temperature used for vulcanization for the tensile strength, elongation and tearing strength properties of the rubber sole compound. Temperature vulcanization used for the research was varied at 1400C, 1500C, 1600C and 1700C. The results shows that vulcanization at 1400C, give the highest properties in tensile strength, elongation and tearing strength, those are : 113,70 kg/cm2; 326,60 % and 107,00 kg/cm2respectively. Increasing temperature vulcanization cause decreasing those physical properties

    Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan di Kelas IX E pada waktu pembelajaran Matematika diperoleh hasil bahwa Hasil belajar siswa kurang memuaskan, yaitu dari 32 siswa hanya 13 siswa yang nilainya dapat mencapai KKM atau ≥ 70, sedangkan 19 siswa lainnya masih belum dapat mencapai KKM atau ≤ 69. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru kurang memberikan penekanan materi yang jelas tentang Barisan dan Deret Bilangan tersebut. Untuk itu agar dapat meningkatkan Hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tentang Barisan dan Deret Bilangan serta untuk tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran perlu diadakan perbaikan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan Metode Problem Based Learning. Penerapan pembelajaran Barisan dan Deret Bilangan melalui Metode Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan Hasil belajar siswa Kelas IX E  SMP Negeri 1 Kalidawir Tulungagung dan dapat mempermudah siswa dalam menyelesaikan persoalan Barisan dan Deret Bilangan.</jats:p

    A research was performed to treat the treated tannery wastewater using mexican swordplant (Echinodorus palaefolius) in constructed wetland. It was designed by uplow system with 3 m x 1 m x 1 m in dimension equal with 3 m3 in volume, whereas the media consist of 0.3 m thick first layer of rock in the bottom; 0.3 m thick gravel in second layer and 0.1 m third layer of Black sugar-palm fiber and at the top was sand layer with 0.3 m in thickness. The experiment was run by COD and BOD loading varied at 0.137; 0.137; 0.392; 0.409; 0.643; 0.648 kg/d for COD and 0.049; 0.051; 0.125; 0.133; 0.464; 0.467 kg/d for BOD. Effectivity of constructed wetland was determined by COD and BOD removal. Optimum effectivity of COD removal by 68.75% was found by operational condition of influent debit 0.576 m3/d ; detention time 2 days and 2 hours; COD loading 0.405 kg/d, whereas optimum effectivity of the BOD removal by 61.79 % was found by operational condition at influent debit1.440 m3/d ; detention time 1 days 13 hours and 30 minutes and COD loading 0.466 kg/d and reducing constant (k) = 0.008 d-1

    Ramp door is a ramp door construction that has an important role as access in and out of vehicles. The use of ramp doors with excessive loads will cause damage to the construction such as breaking and bending, so repairs need to be made to improve the strength of the ramp door structure. In carrying out this analysis, the author analyzed the ramp door that was broken. The ramp door was repaired by adding a layer of 15 mm thick plate with a length of 800 mm as a construction reinforcement. To ensure that the ramp door can work properly after repair, it is necessary to analyze to determine the allowable stress, safety factor in accordance with GL regulations and the comparison between the new and repaired ramp doors. The analysis process uses the Finite Element Method and FEM-based software. From the results of the analysis, the Total Deformation value on the repaired ramp door is 1.4469 mm and on the new ramp door is 1.3244 mm for the stress on the repaired ramp door is 102.42 Mpa and for the new ramp door is 52.299 Mpa and for the safety factor on the repaired ramp door is 2.4408 and for the repaired ramp door is 4.7802. The stress on the Sling Kupingan is 8.851 Mpa. From the addition of the plate, the barge experienced a decrease in draft of 310 mm

    The aim of the research was to find out the dock vender compound which have optimum hardness and tearing resistance. The research was done by using standar compound for dock vender in which the carbon black as a filler was varied at 40; 45: 50; 55; 60; 65 and 70 parts for every 100 parts of natural rubber. Testing results show that optimum hardness was found at a compound with 55 parts of carbon black by the value of 60.40 shore A, whereas the tearing resistance show that there are no significant defferences by variation of carbon black. Optimum tearing resistance was given by the compound with 45 parts of carbon black

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Reprocessed of wastevulcanized rubber products, known as reclaim rubber, is used as a filler in rubber soles. Uncorrect usage of reclaim rubber in rubber sole manufacturing can decrease the product performance such as as tensile streangth, elongation break and abrasion resistance. In this experiment, by comparison of 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 parts of reclaim rubber to the 100 part of natural rubber (RSS) sow that tensile strength decreased to 174.138, 160.118, 140.574, 134.092, and 449,60, 437.20, 426.00, 403.80 and 396.60% nrespectively, whereas abrasion resistance decreased to 0,2491, 0,4781, 0,5267, 0.7909, and mm3 / kgm respectively
