How does investors’ perceived ease of information access affect their investment judgments?
By manipulating the perceived ease of information access through use of a search engine, I provide experimental evidence that investors are more likely to rely on information gist and use shallow processing after using an online search engine to access a firm’s financial information. Results show that investors using a search engine to access a company’s financial information were more likely to invest in a company with a higher likelihood of real earnings management (REM) than a company with the same net income but a lower likelihood of REM. On the other hand, investors who did not use a search engine were more likely to invest in the lower likelihood of REM company. Furthermore, investors who accessed financial information via a search engine judged the financial information more easily available, were more likely to reopen the financial information, and scored lower on the retention test. The study contributes to the accounting literature by showing that technologies that increase perceived ease of information access change how investors process and use financial information.Submission published under a 24 month embargo labeled 'U of I Access', the embargo will last until 2021-05-01The student, Deni Cikurel, accepted the attached license on 2019-04-08 at 11:50.The student, Deni Cikurel, submitted this Dissertation for approval on 2019-04-08 at 11:50.This Dissertation was approved for publication on 2019-04-08 at 12:01.DSpace SAF Submission Ingestion Package generated from Vireo submission #13510 on 2019-08-22 at 15:05:35Made available in DSpace on 2019-08-23T20:35:46Z (GMT).
The work on the role of the Second Man (Deni) in the play Illusions is the title of the graduate work of Goran Vučko under the mentorship of Prof. art. Robert Raponja at the Academy of Arts in Osijek, at the Department of Theater Art, Acting and Puppetry. The work is based on the diploma exam production of theatrical performance by the Russian drama author Ivan Viripev, which is also a graduate work of Sara Moser and Ivan Pokupić, and attended by assistant Katica Šubarić. After the author's biography, data on the dramatic text and his work and the contents of the works, all the external elements of the play (scenography, costumes, props, light and music) are described and explained in the paper, followed by a directors concept, after which the type of confessional theater, to which this play belongs. The most important part of the thesis is based on the Actor – character – role in which the acting processes and resources used to create the role of the Second Man are explained. There are claims about the importance of constant self-knowledge, actors work on himself, his personality. It is emphasized that working on oneself and getting to know and improve oneself, actor can be led to liberation - on the stage and in private life. At the end, a conclusion was drawn and states the responsibility of the acting work towards the environment and the humanity that the actor needs, as a representative of the people, to cultivate. All these values are achieved by dedicated and persistent work on themselves

Green Open Access added to TU Delft Institutional Repository 'You share, we take care!' - Taverne project https://www.openaccess.nl/en/you-share-we-take-care Otherwise as indicated in the copyright section: the publisher is the copyright holder of this work and the author uses the Dutch legislation to make this work public.GIS TechnologieUrban Data Scienc
