Noviar Darkuni, M.Kes.   Kata kunci: Perpustakaan Sekolah, Memfasilitasi, Belajar Biologi. Perpustakaan sekolah merupakan jendela dunia dalam mengakses segala informasi yang ada di dunia. Perpustakaan sekolah dapat dikatakan sebagai jantung kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Kenyataannya masih ada sekolah di negara Indonesia belum memperhatikan secara optimal keberadaan perpustakaan sekolah dalam menunjang pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang karena sekolah ini merupakan sekolah swasta yang ada di bawah naungan Universitas Negeri Malang, sehingga SMA laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang dapat dijadikan sebagai contoh sekolah yang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana perpustakaan SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang dalam memfasilitasi siswa belajar biologi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X, XI IPA, XII IPA, guru biologi, kepala sekolah, dan kepala perpustakaan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bagaimana pengelolaan perpustakaan dan peran warga sekolah sehingga dapat dilihat bagaimana perpustakaan sekolah tersebut dalam memfasilitasi siswa belajar biologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang sudah melaksanakan perannya dalam memfasilitasi siswa belajar biologi, dimana dari segi: (1) pengelolaan sarana prasarana dan koleksi sudah berjalan maksimal dan dilakukan berdasarkan ketentuan yang ada, (2) peran dari warga sekolah (Kepala sekolah, Kepala Perpustakaan, Guru Biologi, Siswa kelas X, XI IPA, dan XII IPA) sudah menjalankan perannya dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah diperoleh, bahwa perpustakaan SMA Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang sudah dapat menjalankan perannya dalam memfasilitasi siswa untuk belajar biologi. Perpustakaan sekolah juga merupakan salah satu sarana untuk siswa belajar mencari informasi sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi siswa. Oleh karena itu, dalam pembelajaran terutama biologi sebaiknya guru mengajak siswa untuk memanfaatkan perpustakaan sekolah dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, serta semua warga sekolah juga berupaya untuk memajukan perpustakaan sekolah agar perpustakaan tersebut berjalan maksimal dalam menjalankan perannya

    Era revolusi industri 4.0 mendorong berkembangnya pengetahuan menjadi lebih pesat. Perkembangan pengetahuan akan berdampak pula pada dunia pendidikan. Guru adalah orang terdepan di pendidikan karena guru adalah orang yang berinteraksi langsung menanamkan kompetensi pada peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara pada empat guru di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Malang menunjukkan bahwa guru memang sering melakukan penelitian- penelitian, tetapi guru mengalami beberapa kendala ketika hasil penelitian tersebut diubah menjadi artikel dan makalah. Kendala guru salah satunya adalah guru kesulitan mengikuti gaya penulisan setiap jurnal yang memiliki gaya penulisan artikel yang berbeda-beda. Guru di sekolah juga perlu banyak motivasi dan dorongan untuk mengikuti kegiatan berupa lomba-lomba karya ilmiah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepad a guru untuk mendampingi guru dalam membuat karya ilmiah dan publikasi ilmiah. Metode yang dipakai dalam pencapaian tujuan tersebut adalah dengan dilakukan diskusi, sosialisasi, praktek, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang didapat adalah kegiatan pendampingan kompetensi penulisan karya ilmiah guru menjadi sebuah upaya untuk guru dalam memberikan penguatan pada prestasi. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan dihasilkannya artikel dan makalah Bapak Ibu Guru dari hasil pendampingan ini. Kedepannya mungkin perlu dilakukan pendampingan kompetensi penulisan karya ilmiah untuk siswa. Mentoring Competency in Writing Teacher Scientific Work as an Effort to Strengthen Teacher Achievement The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 encourages the development of knowledge to be more rapid. The development of knowledge will also have an impact on the world of education. The teacher is the foremost person in education because the teacher is the person who interacts directly, instilling competence in students. The results of observations and interviews with four teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Malang Junior High School show that teachers often do research but experience some problems when the research results are converted into articles and papers. One of the teacher's obstacles is that the teacher has difficulty following the writing style of each journal which has a different style of writing articles. Teachers in schools also need a lot of motivation and encouragement to take part in activities in the form of scientific work competitions. Based on this, it is necessary to carry out community service activities to assist teachers in making scientific works and publications. The method used in achieving these goals is through discussion, socialization, practice, and evaluation. The results obtained are the activities of mentoring the competence of writing teacher scientific papers in an effort for teachers to reinforce achievement. This is proven by the production of articles and papers by Mr. Guru from the results of this mentoring. In the future, it may be necessary to assist in writing scientific papers for students

    The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the world of education. Face-to-face learning is now an online activity. However, the learning material for practical exercises is often an obstacle. This research aims to see the effect of problem-based learning-based polysynchronous learning to improve practical learning outcomes at SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang. This type of research is Quasy Experiment, quantitative research approach, and research design using a non-equivalent post-test control group design. The population is all students of SMP 'Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang, a sample of two classes in grade 2 students. Data collection techniques are pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique was carried out using One-way Anacova statistics. This study indicates that problem-based learning polysynchronous learning activities in class 7A students can improve student practicum learning outcomes

    Aspek pendidikan mengalami perubahan dan penyesuaian terhadap penyelenggaraan proses pembelajaran sebagai akibat dari adanya pandemi covid-19. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara kegiatan pembelajaran blended learning menunjukkan adanya beberapa kendala : 1) kegiatan pembelajaran blended learning yang dilaksanakan tidak student center, 2) proses pembelajaran dirasa monoton, 3) kompetensi mahasiswa terutama pada kemampuna keterampilan berpikir kritis dan metakognitif tidak terasah dengan baik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan penelitian integrasi polysynchronous learning dengan problem based learning untuk mengukur keterampilan metakognitif mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Quasy Eksperimen dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif, sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan yakni non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group desain. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran polysynchronous learning dengan problem based learning dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan metakognitif mahasiswa dengan sangat baik pada MK Zoologi dan MK Anfiswanman

    The education aspect has experienced changes and adjustments in implementing the learning process due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results of observations and interviews, blended learning activities showed that there are several obstacles: 1) blended learning activities are carried out but the lesson was not student-centered, 2) the learning process was considered monotonous, 3) student competencies, especially in critical thinking and metacognitive thinking skills, were not well-conducted. Based on the problems, it was necessary to conduct research on the integration of polysynchronous learning with problem-based learning to measure students' metacognitive skills. This type of research employed a quasy-experiment by using a quantitative research approach, while the research design used a non-equivalent pre-test & post-test control group design. The results showed that polysynchronous learning with problem-based learning could develop students' critical and metacognitive thinking skills well in Zoology and Analysis of Animal and Plant Physiology subject

    Implementasi Mind Mapping Melalui Project Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Hasil Belajar

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi mind mapping melalui project based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mahasiswa S1 program studi pendidikan biologi FKIP UMM Malang, tepatnya matakuliah yang digunakan adalah MK telaah kurikulum. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui 2 siklus, dimana setiap siklusnyua terdapat tindakan perencanaan, pemerapan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan dari siklus I ke siklus II yaitu sebanyak 18 mahasiswa pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dan sebanyak 33 mahasiswa pada hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan mind mapping melalui project based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar.ÃÂ

    Technological developments provide many changes and impacts in various fields, including education. The integration of technology in education is very necessary so that the learning process can keep up with the times. This research's urgency is the need to design a modern learning model that can instill good character in students. Based on this, this study aims to determine the flipped classroom model through lesson study on student character. This research is a Lesson Study research. The population of this research is students of MA Muhammadiyah 1 Malang class XI, and the sample is students of class XI A. Methods of data collection are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. In cycle 1, the results of the character scores of students who can keep promises (75%), help (77%), respect (76%), and are honest (76%). In cycle two, the results of the character scores of students who can keep promises (77%), help (79%), respect (79%), and are honest (77%). There is an increase or development of student character from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Based on this, it can be seen that the flipped classroom model through lesson study can affect the character development of students

    The environment of State Senior High School (SMAN) 3 Malang employed a concept of vertical garden, making the environment suitable for outdoor learning and direct learning. Observation results indicated the use of plants for learning media is not optimal due to the lack of information on scientific names, descriptions, and relationships of plants. Based on the observation, it was necessary to design a learning innovation. This research aimed to describe the application of Cladogram classification learning with the Asymmetric method: 1) the utilization of Tillandsia & Neoregelia plants for the source of plant classification & Cladogram learning, 2) the number of Tillandsia & Neoregelia species, 3) the relationship between Tillandsia & Neoregelia plants. This research employed a descriptive survey method through learning classification & Cladograms with Asymmetry. The descriptive data analysis technique defined the identification of plant types using pictures and key books of determination (asymmetry). The results showed that through the learning of cladogram classification with the asymmetry method, the following data were obtained: 1) the use of plants with morphological characteristics and similarities and differences became the source of learning for plant classification and making cladograms effectively indicated by students performance in doing the classification of plants in the school environment and making cladograms from classification activities, 2) there were two species of tillandsia namely Tillandsia lonantha & Tillandsia cyanea, and there was one neoregelia species namely Neoregelia spectabilis, 3) familial relationship of the plant is one family namely Bromeliaceae

    The Influence of Project-Based Learning Model on Ability to Find Research Problems in Learning Strategy Courses

    Teaching competence requires several skills in the form of real products or works, so in lectures Learning Strategies are very suitable for using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. This study aims to describe the effect of using a project-based learning model on the ability to find problems. This research is a preexperimental study and uses a single group design with pretest – treatment – posttest. The design steps are as follows: (1) Selecting a group of subjects for the sample, (2) Conducting a pretest, (3) Providing treatment, (4) Providing a posttest after treatment, (5) Finding the average score and standard deviation, both from pretest and posttest compare the two, and (6) test the average difference. The subjects of this study were second semester students of the Department of Biology Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang who took part in the Learning Strategy course (38 students). Data collection techniques were carried out by pretest and posttest. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest questions, and rubric sheets to assess students' assignments in finding problems. Data analysis for knowledge was performed by paired t test. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that tcount > ttable (31.78 > 2.02619), which means that there is a significant difference, so that the development of the PjBL model has an effect on the ability to find research problems in the Learning Strategy course

    Pandemi Covid-19 membuat terjadinya perubahan pada bidang pendidikan. Perubahan dalam dunia pendidikan tersebut apabila dihadapkan dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini tentunya tidak akan mengalami hambatan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal tersebut dikarenakan saat ini dunia berada dalam era revolusi industri 4.0. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang telah dilakukan pada pihak sekolah di SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran e-learning yang dilakukan oleh guru-guru disekolah sebagian besar menggunakan Google Classroom. Kegiatan pembelajaran e-learning yang dilakukan oleh guru-guru disekolah tersebut berjalan dengan optimal dan baik, tetapi tentunya terdapat beberapa kekurangan dan kelemahan dalam  implementasin pembelajaran ini. Solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan dalam pembelajaran e-learning di SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang salah satunya adalah dengan mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran kedalam teknologi. Dalam hal ini berarti perlu adanya kemampuan pedagogik saat pengoperasian teknologi. Model pembelajaran yang cocok diterapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra adalah menggunakan model Inquiry. Metode yang akan dilakukan adalah 1) Sosialisasi pertama antara pelaksana pengabdian dengan pihak Sekolah, 2) Sosialisasi kedua penyampaian materi pengabdian kepada pihak Sekolah, 3) Analisis perangkat dan desain pembelajaran daring Sekolah, 4) Pemaparan temuan dari kegiatan analisis perangkat dan desain pembelajaran daring, 5) Pelatihan pada Guru dan pihak Sekolah dalam menggunakan LMS Google classroom berbasis inquiry, 6) Pelatihan pada siswa dalam menggunakan LMS Google classroom berbasis inquiry, 7) Praktik pembelajaran daring menggunakan perangkat dan desain yang sudah dirancang, dan 8) Review atau refleksi terhadap kegiatan praktik pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru di SMP Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang bisa membuat desain pembelajaran di google classroom dengan menggunakan sintak inquiry. Assistance in Hybrid Learning Implementation by Integrating Inquiry-Based Learning and Google Classroom The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a change in the education sector. When faced with current technological developments, changes in the world of education will certainly not experience obstacles in the implementation of learning activities. This is because the world is currently in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Based on the results of observations and interviews conducted with the school at Junior High School Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang, e-learning learning activities carried out by teachers in schools mostly use Google Classroom. The e-learning learning activities carried out by the teachers at the school are running optimally and well. Still, of course, there are some shortcomings and weaknesses in implementing this learning. One of the solutions to overcome problems in e-learning learning at Junior High School Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang is to integrate the learning model into technology. In this case, there is a need for pedagogic skills when operating the technology. The learning model that is suitable to be applied to overcome partner problems is to use the Inquiry model. The methods that will be carried out are 1) The first socialization between service implementers and the school, 2) The second socialization of the delivery of service material to the school, 3) Analysis of school online learning tools and designs, 4) Presentation of findings from online learning device analysis and design activities, 5) Training for teachers and schools in using the inquiry-based Google classroom LMS, 6) Training for students in using the inquiry-based Google classroom LMS, 7) Online learning practices using devices and designs that have been designed, and 8) Reviewing or reflecting on activities learning practices that have been carried out. This service activity shows that teachers at Junior High School Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Malang can make learning designs in Google Classroom using the inquiry syntax
