PKM Guru Pembina Olimpiade Matematika Dan IPA SD Di Wilayah Gugus I Kecamatan Banawa Selatan Kabupaten Donggala
Partners of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) are the SD Teachers Working Group (KKG) Cluster I Region. Problems faced by partner groups: 1). The mastery of the teachers / KKG members on the material and discussion of math and science Olympiad questions is still low. 2) The elementary school teachers in the cluster I areas were generally D2 and S1 PGSD alumni, where at the time they were studying only basic mathematics and science material, which had a low level of abstraction. This causes teachers / KKG members in the region to often misunderstand the basic concepts of mathematics and science. 3). In addition, references that can be used as enrichment materials are also lacking, and 4). Available sources to ask questions about the mathematics and science Olympiad material are also lacking, because the South Banawa sub-district is located in the border area of the provinces of Central Sulawesi and West Sulawesi. The goal of PKM is to improve the ability of elementary school teachers to solve math and science Olympiad questions, so that later they can guide students who will take part in the district, provincial and national level Olympiad. The expected output target in PKM activities is that at least 5 KKG members in the cluster I region can work on the 2019 city level Olympic questions, so that they can guide their students to qualify for the provincial level selection. After this activity is completed, the participants are expected to be able to pass on their knowledge to other fellow teachers. The book is the result of discussion of Olympic questions at the city and provincial levels, the work of the regional KKG members to be used as one of the future references. To achieve this target, the method used in this PKM activity is to provide training on material and discussion of mathematics and science Olympiad questions, basic concepts of mathematics and science which are important and support for following mathematics and science materials which require higher analysis. KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH ARITMATIKA SOSIAL BERDASARKAN GAYA BELAJAR
This research aims to describe mathematics representation of students’ ability based on visual, auditoria and kinesthetic learning style. These research subjects consisted of 3 students; they are a student with visual learning style, a student with auditoria and a student with kinesthetic learning style. This research is qualitative which applied purposive sampling technique for choosing samples.This research applied Arithmetic’s Social material which it taught in grade VII. Research instruments are form of learning style, test of arithmetic’s social and guidelines of questionnaire. The results of this research are (1) Student’s mathematics representation ability which has visual learning style is middle level. (2) Student’s mathematics representation ability which has auditoria learning style is middle level. The student is quite difficult in visual representation. (3) Student’s mathematics representation ability reviewed of kinesthetic learning style categorizes low level. 
ANALISIS KESALAHAN SISWA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL OPERASI HITUNG BILANGAN BULAT DI KELAS VII SMPN MODEL TERPADU MADANI PALU
This study aims to determine the types of errors made by high-ability students and low-ability students in solving integer arithmetic operations. This type of research is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were taken 2 of 31 students of grade VII Hasan Bahasoan SMPN Model Terpadu Madani Palu, which consisted of one high-ability student and one low-ability student. The results of this study were (1) errors made by the Constitutional Court subject in the form of procedural errors, namely the Constitutional Court subject did not arrange hierarchical and systematic steps in solving integer arithmetic operations. (2) errors made by the subject IW in the form of a conceptual error, namely the subject IW did not understand the concepts, terms and theorems of integer arithmetic operations in solving problems. IW subjects also made procedural errors, namely IW subjects were unable to manipulate the steps in solving problems
ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS' ERRORS IN SOLVING PROBLEMS ON THE MATERIAL OF ROWS AND SERIES IN CLASS VIII MTS SYEKH LOKIYA TOWALE
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa kelas VIII MTs Syekh Lokiya Towale dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika berdasarkan Analisis Kesalahan Newman . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis dan wawancara berupa 2 soal esai dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik wawancara yang digunakan adalah semi terstruktur yang dilakukan terhadap siswa terpilih untuk memastikan jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Subyek dalam penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan perbedaan gender yaitu satu siswa laki-laki dan satu siswa perempuan dengan pertimbangan siswa yang paling banyak melakukan kesalahan, mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik dan rekomendasi dari guru matematika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan yang dilakukan subjek laki-laki (SL) adalah kesalahan pemahaman (comprehension error) , kesalahan keterampilan proses ( process skill error ) dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir ( encoding error) . Kesalahan yang dilakukan subjek perempuan (SP) adalah kesalahan keterampilan proses ( process skill error) dan kesalahan penulisan jawaban akhir ( kesalahan coding) .
PROFILE OF MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS OF CLASS VIII MTS AL-KHAIRAAT TONDO STUDENTS ON RELATION AND FUNCTION MATERIAL IN TERMS OF SELF-CONFIDENCE
Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek peneltian Siswa kelas VIII MTs Al-Khairaat Tondo. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VIII A pada materi relasi dan fungsi berdasarkan self-confidence. Subjek penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan angket self-confidence. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 orang siswa dari 17 siswa kelas VIII A MTs Al-khairaat Tondo, yang masing-masing memiliki self-confidence tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Data di kumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode angket, tes tertulis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek self-confidence tinggi memenuhi tiga indikator yaitu 1) menyatakan situasi, gambar, atau diagram kedalam bahasa, simbol, atau gagasan/ide matematis dengan tepat baik secara lisan maupun tulisan; 2) menggunakan respresentasi matematika (diagram, grafik) untuk menyatakan informasi matematis 3) mengkomunikasikan kesimpulan jawaban baik secara lisan maupun tulisan. Subjek self-confidence sedang memenuhi dua indikator yaitu 1) menyatakan situasi, gambar, atau diagram kedalam bahasa, simbol, atau gagasan/ide matematis dengan tepat baik secara lisan maupun tulisan; 2) menggunakan respresentasi matematika (diagram, grafik) untuk menyatakan informasi matematis. Subjek self-confidence rendah memenuhi satu indikator yaitu 1) menggunakan respresentasi matematika (diagram, grafik) untuk menyatakan informasi matematis)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION OF STUDENTS WITH LOW PERFORMANCE IN MATHEMATICS: GENDER PERSPECTIVE
This study aims to describe mathematical communication between male and female students with low mathematical performance and to identify ways to support their mathematical communication skills. Students with mathematical abilities often struggle to express mathematical ideas clearly, making it important to explore their communication patterns and develop effective teaching strategies. A male and a female student from the twelfth grade of high school, were chosen as participants due to their low performance in mathematics. The selection of these subjects was based on the method of pairing data created by Milles. Data collection involved administering tests and using a semi-structured interview approach, which were then analyzed qualitatively. The results of this research indicated that there are differences in mathematical communication exhibited by male and female students. Both participants expressed mathematical concepts by identifying key points obtained from the test. They correctly used mathematical notation and adequately represented their ideas through graphical means. The male student showed a stronger grasp by connecting various concepts. However, there were instances when they struggled to articulate their thoughts accurately in writing. The results of this study provide insights for teachers in designing teaching strategies that improve low-achieving students' mathematical communication skills, both oral and written communication. This is expected to support students in expressing mathematical ideas effectively
ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK KEMAMPUAN GURU MATEMATIKA SMP MELAKSANAKAN PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS KURIKULUM 2013 DI KOTA PALU
Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara rinci karakteristik kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013. Kemampuan guru dalam melakukan pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013 difokuskan pada proses pembelajaran divergen dan konvergen. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru matematika yang sudah berpengalaman dan guru pemula di Kota Palu. Teknik pengambilan subjek penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, karena banyaknya subjek penelitian tergantung pada keadaan data dari lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara merekam pelaksanaan pembelejaran di kelas yang berbasis kurikulum 2013. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada dokumentasi tersebut, lalu subjek penelitian diwawancara secara mendalam untuk mengungkap karakteristik kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013. Hasil wawancara didokumentasikan dengan menggunakan handycam, voice record, dan kamera digital. Untuk menentukan kredibilitas data dilakukan beberapa hal, yaitu (1) dilakukan uji triangulasi, (2) mengadakan member-check, (3) meningkatkan ketekunan dan perpanjangan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013. Peneliti juga mengungkapkan bahwa karakteristik kemampuan guru dalam melakukan pembelajaran berbasis kurikulum 2013 lebih menekankan pada proses pembelajaran konvergen dibandingkan divergen.

The Influence of Teacher's Pedagogic Competence and Professional Competence on Mathematics Learning Outcomes of High School Students in Sigi Regency
The purpose of this study was to obtain information that teacher pedagogical competence factors and teacher professional competence factors play an important role in the mathematics learning outcomes of high school students in Sigi Regency, either partially or simultaneously. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis through data obtained from the results of the pedagogical and professional competency tests of mathematics teachers and the average scores of high school students' national mathematics exams obtained at the LPMP office. The sample in this study amounted to 21 mathematics teachers from 10 public and private high schools in Sigi Regency. The results obtained show that simultaneously, the significance value (sig.) = 0.444 and the significance of the multiple regression coefficient F is 0.912 and partially for the effect of teacher pedagogic competence the significance value (sig.) = 0.929 and the F value of 0.008, while for the effect of professional competence the teacher's significance value (sig.) = 0.255 and the F value of 1.505. Taken together, teacher pedagogical competence and teacher professional competence do not affect the mathematics learning outcomes of high school students in Sigi Regency
