Meta-research as discipline, field, or spectrum
This chapter examines the current state of meta-research. Specifically, we explore meta-research’s dynamic nature as a unique characteristic of an area of study that requires researchers to examine the practices, processes and norms within which their own work is situated. In addition, the interdisciplinary nature of meta-research presents epistemological tensions around notions of research quality, that also are an important area of study and of constant examination and debate for meta-researchers. This chapter examines the potential consequences of this diversity on the recognition of meta-research as a field or discipline. The chapter concludes with an acknowledgement that the field benefits from keeping disciplinary borders fluid as a way of encouraging and valuing interdisciplinary perspectives and experiences of meta research
Map of the Handbook of Meta-Research
This chapter introduces each contribution contained within the Handbook of Meta-Research. The chapters in the handbook are organised into four sections which represent many of the key focus areas of past and current meta-research. These four sections include: Public value of research; Policy and governance of research; Knowledge dynamics; and Research cultures and careers. The chapter ends by stating the main objective of this Handbook, which is to facilitate discussions within the meta-research space towards a more inclusive and interdisciplinary production of knowledge that we can use to simultaneously produce valuable, high-quality research as well as enrich the understanding of the environment in which we work

The inclusion of the youth and their rights to be active participants have been undermined in the traditional community development context. Especially in the case of refugee youth, their voice is often ignored. Since, the realization of the refugee youth’s right to participation is imperative, there is a need for assessment methods in the community development projects. Therefore, the aim of the thesis was to achieve an improved quick method for assessing in what degree the rights-based participation and inclusion of the youth are realized in social development projects in the Middle-East context.
The research process was carried out in two phases. Firstly, the methodological part where a set of methodology, a method of four elements was developed for assessing the level and quality of the youth’s participation. Each aspects of the method were introduced based on the previous literature as well as modified and combined in order to create a well-working quick-assessment method. Secondly, the method was applied, tested and further developed at Nuzha centre by exploring, as a case study, the realization of right-based participation of the refugee youth. The application was conducted by organizing workshops for the staff/teachers and the youth. The research process was participatory and inclusive and used qualitative content analysis in processing the information produced in the case study.
The created quick-assessment method provided various operational information of the realization of participation of the youth at Nuzha centre case revealing, for example, that the participation of the youth was consultative and not yet reaching the deeper levels of inclusion. In terms of project cycle, the participation was limited to implementation phase only. The application worked as an eye-opener for the staff in internalizing the concept of inclusion and finding new ways to enhance it at the centre.
In conclusion, the developed quick-assessment method is, by making some improvements, recommended to be used in social development and humanitarian projects in assessments and evaluations. Because of its empowering effect to vulnerable groups such it is also applicable among the refugee communities.
Further research suggestions are concerning the influences of culture, traditions and gender aspects in the rights-based participation and inclusion of the refugees in the social development projects in the Middle-East.

PERJANJIAN PERKAWINAN MENURUT HUKUM ISLAM DAN HUKUM POSITIF DI INDONESIA
Abstract: This Study examines the marriage arrangement as indicated by Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia. The exploration technique utilized is library research, which is a hunt of the writing identified with marriage arrangements. The methodology utilized is the syar'i approach, which is an Islamic lawful methodology and a juridical methodology, in particular a way to deal with the law, to be specific the Arrangement of Islamic Law, KUHPerdata, Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. The consequence of the examination is that the marriage understanding in Islamic law is completed by focusing on the arrangements of the syara which are then remembered for the Islamic Law Accumulation. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan syar’i merupakan pendekatan hukum Islam dan pendekatan yuridis yaitu pendekatan terhadap Undang-undang yaitu Kompilasi Hukum Islam, KUHPerdata, Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan. Hasil penelitian yaitu perjanjian perkawinan dalam hukum Islam dilakukan dengan memperhatikan ketentuan-ketentuan syara yang kemudian dimasukkan di dalam Kompilasi Hukum Islam. Perjanjian perkawinan dalam hukum positif di Indonesia diambil dari KUHPerdata dan Undang-undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan. URGENSI ETOS KERJA DALAM MENGELOLA LEMBAGA DAKWAH
Abtsract;
Ajaran Islam adalah konsepsi yang sempurna dan komprehensif, karena ia meliputi segala aspek kehidupan manusia, baik yang bersifat duniawi maupun ukhrawi. Islam secara teologis, merupakan sistem nilai dan ajaran yang bersifat Ilahian dan transden. Sedangkan dari aspek sosiologis, Berkaitan dengan lembaga dakwah, stakeholder potensial dapat dilihat dari status ekonomi, kondisi demografi penduduk suatu wilayah, jenis aliran yang dianut oleh masyarakat Islam, dan lain-lain. Misalnya sebuah lembaga dakwah menawarkan layanan pendidikan yang menggunakan berbagai sarana canggih, dengan mubaligh dan mubalighah yang memiliki komptensi yang tinggi, maka untuk mengoperasionalkan seluruh kegiatan lembaga dakwah tersebut dibutuhkan dana yang besar sehingga lembaga dakwah menentukan stakeholder potensialnya adalah masyarakat Islam dengan tingkat ekonomi menengah ke atas. Demikian pula dengan penentuan stakeholder melalui sudut tinjauan yang lain. untuk mewujudkan suatu etos kerja yang berkualitas harus mengimplementasikan delapan (8) etos kerja yaitu: kerja adalah rahmat, bekerja tulus penuh syukur, kerja adalah amanah, bekerja benar penuh tanggung jawab, kerja adalah pangagilan, bekerja tuntas penuh integritas, kerja adalah aktualisasi dan bekerja keras penuh semangat. Jika delapan hal ini dilakukan oleh setiap orang maka akan terwujud suatu kehidupan yang sangat baik. Kedua, lembaga dakwah dalam melaksanakan aktivitasnya harus tetap eksis dan konsisten di tengah terpaan virus globalisasi dunia yang semakin memprihatinkan semua kalangan.

The teachings of Islam is perfect and comprehensive conception, because it covers all aspects of human life, both temporal and hereafter. Islam theologically, is a system of values and teachings that are divinity and transden. While the sociological aspects, connection with the propaganda agencies, potential stakeholders can be seen from the economic status, demographic conditions of the population of an area, the type of flow that is embraced by the Islamic community, and others. For example, a propaganda agency offering educational services using a variety of sophisticated means, with preachers and mubalighah which has a high competency, then to operationalize the entire activities of the da’wa agency requires substantial funds so that the da’wa agencies determine potential stakeholders is an Islamic society with middle to upper-level economics . Similarly, the determination of the stakeholders through the corner from the other side. to create a quality work ethic must implement the eight (8) work ethic, namely: the work is mercy, work sincerely grateful, work is trustworthy, works really full responsibility, work is pangagilan, completing work with integrity, work is the actualization and work hard vigorously. If eight this is done by each person will realize a very good life. Second, da’waa agencies in carrying out their activities must exist and be consistent in the middle of the exposure to the virus which has become increasingly serious globalized world all circles.

Pembatalan Perkawinan Menurut Hukum Islam Dan Hukum Positif Di Indonesia
Abstract: This research examines the nullification of marriage based on Islamic and positive laws in Indonesia where the purpose of the research to detect the nullification of marriage based on these two kinds of law in Indonesia. It is a normative juridical. The result of the research depicts that the nullification of marriage based on Islamic law, namely, the cancellation of marriage (fasakh) due to the requirements which are not fulfilled when the marriage ceremony is held, then, it is cancelled because of the reasons that come after the marriage contract, next, the marriage held by the guardian with the prospective groom who are not a mate such as slaves with free people or adulterer with cared people, husbands “suspending” wives, do not return their wives to their parents , not make a living and wives are not willing, poor husbands are watched by trusted witnesses therefore they are unable to provide a living, it is annulled (fasakh) because of blemish area (skin patches), insanity, leprosy, infectious diseases such as syphilis, tuberculosis and others, it can be cancelled also due to the flesh grows on the genitalia of woman which obstruct the purpose of marriage (intercourse), another reason is because of ‘anah (penis doesn’t work for intercourse). Besides, the nullification marriage according to positive law in Indonesia, it is regulated by law number 1 of 1974 about marriage articles 22 to 28 and the compilation of Islamic law in chapter XI sections 70 to 76. The implementing of regulation is designed in government regulation number 9 of 1975 in chapter IV article 37 and 38. Article 22 of law number 1 of 1974 referring to marriage which states that it can be annulled if the parties do not meet the requirements to launch a marriage.Keywords: Nullification of Marriage, Islamic Law, Positive Law Abstrak: Penelitian tersebut membahas tentang pembatalan perkawinan menurut hukum Islam dan hukum positif di Indonesia dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pembatalan perkawinan menurut hukum Islam dan hukum positif di Indonesia. Penelitian tersebut merupakan penelitian yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembatalan perkawinan menurut hukum Islam yaitu batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena syarat yang tidak terpenuhi saat dilangsungkan akad nikah, batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena sebab yang datang setelah akad nikah, perkawinan yang diadakan oleh wali dengan calon mempelai laki-laki yang bukan jodoh misalnya budak dengan orang yang merdeka atau pezina dengan orang yag terpelihara dan lain-lain, suami “menggantung” istri, tidak memulangkan istri ke orang tua dan tidak pula memberikan nafkah dan istri tidak rela, suami miskin yang disaksikan oleh saksi yang dapat dipercaya sehingga tidak sanggup memberi nafkah, batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena balak (penyakit belang kulit), batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena gila, batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena kusta, batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena penyakit menular, seperti sipilis, TBC dan lain-lain, batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena daging tumbuh pada kemaluan perempuan yang menghambat maksud perkawinan (bersetubuh), batalnya perkawinan (fasakh) karena ‘anah (zakar tidak berfungsi untuk bersetubuh), sedangkan pembatalan perkawinan menurut hukum positif di Indonesia Pembatalan perkawinan diatur Undang-Undang No. 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan Pasal 22 sampai dengan Pasal 28 dan Kompilasi Hukum Islam pada Bab XI Pasal 70 sampai dengan Pasal 76. Peraturan pelaksanaannya diatur pada Peraturan Pemerintah No. 9 Tahun 1975 pada Bab IV Pasal 37 dan Pasal 38. Abstract: The research discusses the concept of supervision carried out by the Supreme Court in realizing a clean judiciary. The research method used is library research which is a search for library resources. This resarch used the syar’i approach which is an approach to the provisions of Islamic teachings and a juridicial approach which is an approach to the main legal materials by examining theories, concept, principles and laws and regulations. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan syar’i merupakan pendekatan terhadap ketentuan dalam ajaran Islam dan pendekatan yuridis yaitu pendekatan terhadap bahan-bahan hukum utama dengan menelaah teori, konsep, asas dan peraturan perundang-undangan.
