Mode of compensation to internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Thar coalfields areas of Sindh
Get PDFThe main purpose of this study is to suggest the transparent mode of payment to expected internally displaced persons of Thar coalfields areas of district Tharparkar, Sindh province of Pakistan. According to national and international laws if people are displaced then they are being compensated as per applicable laws. Thar itself is backward area of Pakistan. At present due to presence of Thar coalfield, it is considered the mineral rich area of Pakistan. During mining, the people will be displaced and a suitable compensation will be set to pay. As practice, all IDPs are being paid the compensations in different areas of Pakistan by traditional ways and presently at some level, electronic media is used in transfer of payment to people. To make it more transparent a model is suggested. All the people having computerized national identity card (CNIC) be considered account holders and CNIC number be considered account number, which is already in practice by NADRA KIOSKS in Pakistan. All those who have no CNIC also be assigned account number with some identification. Amount whatever is decided be electronically transferred to every account. Every account holder be given a ATM card and password and for additional security finger prints/photograph be taken and after matching these, transactions should take place.Mode of Payment; IDPs of Thar; Coalfields Areas; Compensation

Computerized National Identify Card, NADRA KIOSKs and its prospects
Get PDFAbstract: This paper analysis Computerized National Identity Cards (CNIC), National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) KIOSKs, NADRA Swift Registration Centers (NSRCs) and their working mode of payments and prospects. The results reveal that mode of payments of different utility bills properly managed by NADRA database is found to be the best in Pakistan when compare to other services. CNIC can be used as an ATM card in future, if banks will cooperate with NADRA, and it will be more successful in comparison of present practice. This study also reveals that NADRA database and CNIC will prove the best in finding out the bogus accounts in banks, ghost employees taking salaries from government treasury and fake passport. It will also help in proper distribution of donations and aids to poor citizen within short time aiding the poverty eradication schemes. Get PDFInlet of Waduk Nadra affected by the antrophogenic wastes from the domestic activity in surronding area. For the management reason, it is important to do the research in this waters area. The study conducted on June – July 2014 at Waduk Nadra Krenceng, Cilegon Banten. The research used purpossive sampling methods and analyzed by the desctriptive methods. The result showed there were 10 genus of phytoplankton i.e Anabaena sp, Closterium sp, Staurastrum sp, Tetraedron sp, Gloeocystis sp, Desmodesmus sp, Navicula sp, Melosira sp, Gonyostomum sp, and Staurodesmus sp. The most abundant phytoplankton is Anabaena sp and followed by Closterium sp. Total abundance of algae at Waduk Nadra in a range of 6.795 – 16.099 ind/l, where the highest abundance was at station I and the lowest at station III.Keywords: Waduk Nadra, management, phytoplankto
Pendugaan Reliability Waduk Nadra Krenceng PT. Krakatau Tirta Industri
Get PDFThe increasing of high population rate, plus there was a new steel industry named PT. Krakatau Posco in Cilegon has made higher demand of clean and raw water. The Volume of Nadra Krenceng reservoir used by PT. Krakatau Tirta Industri is still doubted to fulfill water demand in Cilegon. The purpose of this research to analyze how much the reservoir volume capacity that will always be available and makes the program with Visual Basic Application in Microsoft Excel. The reliability calculation of Nadra Krenceng reservoir was conducted using three methods; F.J Mock, NRECA dependable discharge, and simulation the result of both methods use Weibull Method. The simulation result of Weibull Method shows for F.J Mock dependable discharge with probability of 95%, 90%, 80% and 50% are 5,023,095 m3; 5,733,905 m3; 7,215,525 m3; and 11,600,385 m3 respectively. For NRECA Method simulation, the result with the same series probabilities are 3,831,718 m3; 4,531,326 m3; 5,930,542 m3; and 10,128,191 m3 respectively. The Probabilities used by PT. KTI to guarantee the water availability in Nadra Krenceng reservoir is 80%. To conclude, the available volume of Nadra Krenceng reservoir now 7,215,525 m3 for F.J Mock Method and 5,930,542 m3 for NRECA Method. Both of calculation of water availability of Nadra Krenceng reservoir could achieve good enough accuracy. The R2 values for F.J Mock Methods is 0.685 and 0.653 for NRECA method
