Fenomena Sosial Masyarakat Sekitar Kawasan Konservasi: Studi Kasus Masyarakat Penyangga Kawasan Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Sorong Provinsi Papua Barat
The success of managing forest resources in Indonesia that it has not been massive yet, the track record of the progression has shown due to mindset of managing forest that tend to antisocial. Conservation area of Sorong Nature Recreation Park (TWA Sorong) can't be separated from its community and culture. This study aims to uncover social phenomenom of the people in TWA Sorong as the implication of community interaction with surrounding forest resources. This research based on constructivism paradigm with qualitative approach. The strategy used is case study strategy trough observation method, interview and desk study. The results shows in its historical development, TWA Sorong has asymmetric information phenomena betwen government and the community that can direct its status to an illegitimate legal condition. The community arround the area are more of the type of oral tradition and tend to post-truth so that in interpreting the objective truth of the law that tend to appear simplification of law phenomena. In the cultural context, there is shifting of culture phenomena which shows a shift in the meaning of customary rights which were originaly interpreted as rights that have religio-magical ties but nowdays it's interpreted more economically
Developing of Integrative Ecotourism in Waifoi Village, Papua Barat, Indonesia
Community empowerment carried out in Waifoi village in the process has dynamics that can be understood as material for developing community empowerment processes and formulating empowerment activities appropriate to the local community's context. The purpose of this study is to uncover the dynamics of community empowerment in Waifoi village and describe the innovative formulation of empowerment activities in accordance with the context of community needs in Waifoi village in a participatory manner. The research method used was a case study and participatory rural appraisal through observation, incidental interviews, focus group discussions and document studies which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the Waifoi Village community was a type of community that was open to developing innovation but had a socio-cultural context of hunting and gathering types. There is a differentiation of perception in the community structure of Waifoi village regarding interest in the object to be developed in the village. Empowerment through the formulation of integrated village-based ecotourism development can be an alternative that can be drawn from the results of a participatory community needs tracking done
The Phenomenon and Construction of Community Communication Around the TWA Sorong, West Papua
Management of conservation areas cannot be separated from the existence of the surrounding communities. One important aspect in understanding society is to know the construction of communication that develops in a community group. This study aims to uncover the phenomenon of communication that develops in the communities around TWA Sorong along with its construction as an implication of community interaction with the surrounding forest resources. This research is based on a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach. The strategy used is a case study strategy through observation, interviews and desk study methods. The results showed a symbolic convergence phenomenon that caused asymmetric information between the government and the community in the historical context of TWA Sorong and could lead to legal but not legitimate conditions. Symbolic convergence is strongly constructed by oral tradition communication and characteristics of village communities that are still strong with adat and customary rights.Pengelolaan kawasan konservasi, tidak dapat dilepaskan dari keberadaan masyarakat yang ada di sekitarnya. Salah satu aspek penting dalam memahami masyarakat adalah dengan mengetahui konstruksi komunikasi yang berkembang dalam suatu kelompok masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap gambaran fenomena komunikasi yang berkembang pada masyarakat sekitar TWA Sorong beserta konstruksi pembentuknya sebagai implikasi interaksi masyarakat dengan sumber daya hutan di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada paradigma konstruktivis dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun strategi yang digunakan adalah strategi studi kasus melalui metode observasi, wawancara dan desk study. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya fenomena konvergensi simbolik yang menyebabkan adanya informasi tidak simetris antara pemerintah dengan masyarakat dalam konteks sejarah TWA Sorong dan dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya kondisi legal tidak legitimate. Konvergensi simbolik secara kuat dikonstruksi oleh tradisi komunikasi oral (oral tradition) dan karakteristik masyarakat perkampungan yang masih kuat dengan adat dan hak ulayat
Komunikasi Pedagogis Pendidikan Tinggi Kehutanan dalam Perspektif Kritis
The emergence of various forest resources problem in Indonesia, pragmatically could not be launched from the processes that occured in higher education. As a manifestation of development communication events, pedagogical communication that occurs in forestry education was important to be observed. This paper aims to explain the facts that occured in the teaching and learning process at the selected Faculty of Forestry, including to explain epistemology that form those facts. The research paradigm is a critical paradigm in qualitative research. Samples were taken purposively by conducting classroom observations, in-depth interviews with students and lecturer, desk study and conducting Focus Group Discussion. The results of this research show that there are facts which lead to the ineffectiveness of pedagogical communication. There are at least 8 issues that became the impetus for the occurrence of such ineffectiveness. The situation has made the message construction thus was not carried but only administrative issues answered in ongoing pedagogical communication. It makes a silent culture increasingly wide spread and inquiries that build students awareness of being not able to grow

PENERAPAN MEDIA BUKU POP UP DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN PAI TENTANG AKIDAH AHLAK KELAS II MI NURUL HUDA
Education is an element of life that must be obtained by all humans. Education can be found anywhere, especially in schools. Good education is supported by good teachers, infrastructure, methods and media, if these have been met, the goal of achieving good learning outcomes can be achieved. In this context, MI Nurul Huda Kasokandel has shortcomings in the learning process, where media is rarely used in the learning process, so that good learning outcomes cannot be achieved. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of second grade students of MI Nurul Huda through the use of pop book media in the learning process, especially in PAI subjects About Akidah Ahlak, according to Joko Mutiono (2003:65) A pop up book is a book that has a picture display. that can be erected and form beautiful objects that can move or give amazing effects. Through this type of qualitative research and descriptive approach and using cycles in the research process, where this research is used to investigate, find, describe, and explain something data obtained from observations, interviews and documentation, the main activities in this activity are to describe and analyze systematically. intensively on the Application of Pop Up Book Media at MI Nurul Huda and the obstacles faced in the implementation of research as well as the efforts made by schools in overcoming obstacles in implementing Pop Up Books as Learning Media in improving student learning outcomes. From pre-cycle data to cycle I, learning outcomes increased by 17.6% and data from cycle I to cycle II experienced an increase in learning outcomes by 24.7%, this proves that the use of pop up books in the learning process has a very good influence in improving student learning outcomes. In addition, the use of pop up books in the learning process has a great influence on other things as well, namely, the classroom situation becomes conducive because students can be managed properly by the teacher, learning becomes active and creative, students become more confident to answer questions posed by the teacher
