    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah dan siswa cenderung lupa dengan apa yang telah diajarkan sebelumnya. Guru belum sepenuhnya mengadakan pembelajaran remedial dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan hasil kuis matematika siswa dan apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran remedial lebih baik daripada tanpa pembelajaran remedial pada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Panti Kabupaten Pasaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, dengan Rancangan penelitian Random Terhadap Subjek. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes akhir berbentuk essay dengan reliabilitasnya 0,73. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung =dan =1,67, dengan ?=0,05, karena thitung > () maka hipotesis diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran remedial lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar siswa dengan tanpa pembelajaran remedial di kelas VIII SMPN 2 Panti Kabupaten Pasaman

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan masih rendahnya kemampuan representasi dan disposisi matematis siswa, padahal kedua kemampuan ini merupakan tujuan pembelajaran matematika. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu strategi untuk mendorong siswa dalam mengembangkan kemampuan representasi dan disposisi matematis ini. Pembelajaran TAPPS disertai hypnoteaching memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan kemampuan representasi dan disposisi matematis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji masalah peningkatan kemampuan representasi dan disposisi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran TAPPS disertai hypnoteaching dan pembelajaran konvensional, serta melihat perbedaan peningkatan yang terjadi jika ditinjau dari kategori kemampuan awal matematis siswa (tinggi, sedang, rendah). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment atau eksperimen semu dengan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri Kota Padang. Satu kelas dipilih sebagai kelompok kontrol yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional dan satu kelas lainnya sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran TAPPS disertai hypnoteaching. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data pada penelitian ini terdiri dari instrumen tes, skala disposisi matematis, dan lembar observasi. Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji perbedaan rataan (independent sample t-test dan Mann-Whitney), serta uji anova dua jalur dengan bantuan program SPSS 16 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran TAPPS disertai hypnoteaching lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional bila ditinjau secara keseluruhan siswa dan kemampuan awal matematis siswa (tinggi dengan rendah); (2) Peningkatan disposisi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran TAPPS disertai hypnoteaching tidak lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional dan masih tergolong rendah.     This study aims to analyze the mathematics learning model that is widely used by researchers to improve high school students' mathematical literacy. The research method used in this article is System Literature Review (SLR). The sample consists of 24 research results on the application of mathematics learning models that can improve high school students' mathematical literacy skills. This sample was obtained from indexed journals published in the 2018-2022 period. This research was conducted in accordance with related inclusion criteria, with the research question being what learning model is the most popular used to improve high school student's mathematical literacy? And what level of education do most mathematical literacy tests do? Through the SLR method it was found that the learning model that is widely used to improve mathematical literacy skills is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. With the main characteristics of this model, namely: a learning model that sharpens many student skills and can also be implemented in everyday life and starts learning with a main question by planning a project to solve these problems in finding the concept of the subject matter being .     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Practice Rehearsal Pairs lebih baik daripada hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional dan bagaimanakah perkembangan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Practice Rehearsal Pairs di kelas VIII SMPN 9 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan random terhadap subjek. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII dengan kelas eksperimen yaitu VIII.3 dan kelas kontrol yaitu VIII.5. Tes hasil belajar matematika dengan reliabilitas tes adalah r11=0,07. Hasil analisis aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu 57% sampai 84%. Hasil dari uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung=0,83 dan t tabel=1,67 maka hipotesis ditolak. Jadi hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe Practice Rehearsal Pairs sama dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas VIII SMPN 9 Padang dan perkembangan aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD serta hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran biasa di kelas VII SMPN 31 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan model rancangan Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 31 Padang, kecuali kelas VII1 karena termasuk kelas unggul dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Kelas VII4 dengan 39 orang siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII6 dengan38 orang siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar. Pengolahan data hasil tes akhir dilakukan melalui uji hipotesis yang menggunakan uji-t. Pada selang kepercayaan 95% dengan α = 0,05 diperoleh nilai thitung = 4,43 dan ttabel = 1,67. Rata-rata hasil tes akhir siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 71,85 sedangkan rata-rata hasil tes akhir siswa kelas kontrol adalah59,42, karena thitung > ttabel berarti hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran bias

    This research was based on the students’ result of learning Mathematics that were still low, lack of motivation and participation from the students in the teaching learning process. This research was aimed to know how students’ motivation in learning Mathematics by applying Quick On The Draw technique at grade IX  and to know whether the students’ result of learning Mathematics by applying Quick On The Draw technique better than students’ result of learning Mathematics by applying conventional learning. The type of this research was experimental research that used random design toward the subject. The population of this research was all the grade IX students of SMPN 2 Batang Anai. The sample of this research were two classes that were taken randomly. The instruments of the research were the motivation questionnaire and final test in the essay form. The motivation questionnaire were given in the last meeting of experiment class. The analysis of the data were done by finding the motivation score of each student and it is resulted that the students’ learning motivation had a very motivated criteria. Technique analysis of the data that was used tohypotheses test was t-test. Based on the hypotheses test, it is found that the hypotheses was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the students’ result of learning Mathematics by applying Quick On The Draw technique was better than students’ result of learning Mathematics by applying conventional learning at grade I

    The background of this research are the low ability of students’ understanding mathematical concepts and student learning outcomes are below of minimum completeness criteria (KKM) where 75 for mathematic lesson in SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the ability to students’ understanding  mathematical concepts of class X IPA 3 SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung. This research used a One Shot Case study research design with purposive sampling method. The research sample was class X IPA 3 SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung. The research instrument used was the final test (post-test) in the form of essay questions. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. Hypothesis test result obtained thitung = 2,27 and ttabel = 2,03, because based on the results of the calculation, Ho is rejected so that the hypothesis in this research is accept. Because the hypothesis was accepted, it was concluded that there was an effect of cooperative learning type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) on the ability to students’ understanding mathematical concepts of class X IPA 3 SMAN 1 Enam Lingkung, Padang Pariaman Regency

    ANALYSIS OF ERROR SOLUTION OF MATHEMATICS STORIES BASED ON WATSON CRITERIA

    This research is motivated by the number of errors made by students in solving math problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of errors made by students in working on math problems based on Watson's criteria in class IX.8 and to determine the factors that caused students to make mistakes in doing math problems based on Watson's criteria in class IX.8. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study consisted of 32 students, for further research from the existing sample, namely 5 students according to the level of academic ability and certain considerations. The results of this study indicate that the types of errors made by students with high academic abilities are incorrect procedures and missing conclusions. The types of errors of moderate ability students are missing data, wrong procedures and missing conclusions. The types of errors made by students with low academic ability are inaccurate data, wrong procedures, missing data and missing conclusions. The cause of students making mistakes is that students do not understand the questions, students are confused in answering questions and forget to use the correct formula. So it can be said that the error in reading mathematical stories is in accordance with Watson's Criteria

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
