    Pengaruh Penerapan Media Quiziz dalam Meningkatkan Minat dan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik pada Mata Pelajaran Fisika Kelas X IPA

    The research aims to determine the effect of applying Quizizz media as a learning medium on increasing students' interest and learning outcomes. The type of research used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling with a total of 42 respondents in each of the experimental and control groups, the instruments used were questionnaires and tests in the form of multiple choices. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests, namely through the t-test with values ​​obtained t-count = 7.026 with a value of t-table = 2.021 so that it can be concluded that the value of t-count ˃ t-table is 7.026 ˃ 2.021 or it can be said that H-0 is rejected and H-a is accepted in learning interest while in learning outcomes obtained value t-count = 3.055 and t-table = 2.021 so that it can be concluded that the value of t-count ˃ t-table is 3.055 ˃ 2.021 or it can be said that H-0 is rejected and H-a is accepted. Based on the average score, it shows that there is an influence on the use of Quizizz media as a learning medium which is shown in changes in student behavior after the media is applied, such as starting to actively ask questions during the learning process, doing assignments given by the teacher, and not getting sleepy during learning activities. so based on this the use of Quizizz media as a learning medium is appropriate to use in increasing interest which can then improve student learning outcomes

    This research is done to (1) know the percentage of use of textbooks by students in the Basic Physics course; (2) to know the percentage of students using online learning resources in Basic Physics courses; (3) find out the tendency of students to use both learning sources while undergoing Basic Physics course activities in 2020/2021 even semester. This research is a quantitative descriptive study and applies incidental sampling. The population and sample are 259 and 50 students. The results showed that (1) the percentage of students using textbooks in the Basic Physics course was 54% stating often, 32% saying sometimes and 14% saying rarely; (2) the percentage of students using online learning resources in Basic Physics courses is 92% stating often, 6% stating sometimes, and 2% stating rarely; (3) the tendency of students to use both learning resources during their Even Semester 2020/2021 Basic Physics course shows that the use of online learning resources is greater than the use of textbooks

    Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk ingin mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajatan konstruktivisme terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif serta sampel yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen sebanyak 27 siswa serta untuk kelas kontrol sebanyak 27 siswa juga diperoleh hasil dengan nilai rata rata kelas sebesar 70,74 serta untuk kelas kontrol sebanyak 63,48 berdasarkan analisis data serta pembahasan maka diambil suatu kesepakatan bahwa model pembelajaran konstruktivisme dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep Fisika pada materi Pemanasan global Kata kunci: Konstruktivisme, konsep fisika

    Profiles of Problem-Solving Strategies in Kinematics: A Comparison Between High, Average, and Low Achieving Undergraduates

    Problem solving is an essential competency in physics learning, particularly in the topic of kinematics, which requires mastery of concepts, analytical skills, and effective thinking strategies. Understanding the profiles of students’ problem-solving strategies across different achievement levels can provide detailed insights into the variety of strategies employed and the areas that require instructional intervention. This study aims to describe and compare the problem-solving strategies of Physics Education undergraduate students with high, medium, and low achievement in solving kinematics problems. A qualitative method was employed, involving six participants representing the three achievement categories. The primary data were collected through the think-aloud technique, supported by observations, retrospective interviews, and answer sheet analysis. The comparison of profiles revealed differences in strategic tendencies and completeness of problem-solving stages among the three student groups. These findings offer strategic insights for developing adaptive teaching methods to enhance problem-solving skills across various levels of academic achievement

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model inkuiri terbimbing dengan kegiatan laboratorium virtual terhadap penguasaan konsep dan ketrampilan berfikir kritis siswa terhadap materi fluida statis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Eksperimen kontrol dengan desain control Group Pre-test post-test. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI-IA yang berjumlah 242 orang.dan yang menjadi sampel adalah siswa kelas XI-IA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI-IA 6 sebagai kelas control pada sekolah SMAN 4 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes tertulis berupa soal pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal delakukan dengan pre-test dan post-test , lembar kerja siswa dan angket siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang dilakukan untuk 3 sub konsep itu diperoleh hasil secara keseluruhan untuk penguasaan konsep terjadi peningkatakn sebanyak 0,12 (kategori Rendah) sedangkan untuk ketrampilan berfikir kritis diperoleh hasil secara keseluruhan terjadi peningkatan sebesar 0,09 (kategori rendah), sedangkan peningkatan yang paling tinggi pada ketrampilan berfikir kritis itu pada konsep membuat induksi dan mempertimbangkan induksi yaitu sebesar 0,40 (kategori sedang). Dan model inkuiri mendapatkan respon yang positif dari siswa berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa yang positif. Disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri tebimbing berbasis laboratorium ini terjadi pengaruh walaupun peningkatannya berkategorikan rendah

    The Implementation of Guided Inquiry Learning Model to Improve Students’ Creative Thinking Skills in Physics

    The aim of this research was to find out the improvement of students' creative thinking skills by using guided inquiry learning model. The research was classroom action research which held on 3 cycles. Each cycle consisted of four steps that are Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection. The data collecting technique was carried out through ten creative thinking skills tests in essay form and also questionnaire to evaluate students’ response to the learning activities. An expert validation test was first was first run before the instrument test was tested on the students. Analysis data technique used descriptive analysis. The results of research showed that there was an improvement in each of these aspects of students’ creative thinking skill from cycle I, cycle II until the cycle III. Average percentage improvement of students' creative thinking skills where the highest indicator score was fluency while the highest score attitude aspect of creative thinking was curiosity.
